Having a very weird issue since a few days. Schlongs starts normal on a new game but stops working after 1-2 hours, i can't access the vector plexus addon mcm anymore and it just says schlong missing and all males revert to the schlong perma-underwear.

 

Attached a screenshot and payprus log. I'm using SOS since i discovered loverslabs Skyrim mods about a year ago, never with problems. I always have a large mod load order, so the papyrus log is cluttered, sorry in advance.

 

I've updated to papyrus util v24 because i read that it fixes some sexlab 1.58b issues, could that cause SOS troubles?

Earlier v24 version had issues and the stored data

Use v23.

The Papyrus log has no traces from SOS like if it wasn't installed

my sos dialogue doesn't seem to be working with any of the npcs except the ones who are wearing like fine clothes and such

 

any ideas?

Sorry if this has been requested before but could you include a way to save schlong configurations so we can just reload them when we star a new game. I use all three schlong plugins and set it up so only certain races get certain types. Reconfiguring 3 pages every time I start a new game is getting really tedious.

 

For those who are having neck seam issues. I use these textures with SOS http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26145/? and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27815/? and I get no neck seams.

I am just going through my papyrus logs trying to make sure I understand all the entries for stability. There are some SOS things that might be my fault, but are over my head. Feel free to ignore, but if you could fix/explain them to me I would be super grateful.

Looks to be the shinemap that's largely responsible for those artifacts.

shinemap..? :o you mean specular-map, the "s files" or other ?

 

in the uncompressed textures of old SOS , had never occurred at these levels of artifacts :(

 

what exactly should I do to permanently solve the artifacts, at least on penises textures, please ? :blush:

 

 

Yeah, the _s.dds file, the square pattern you can see on the dong is because of dds compression artifacts, the older uncompressed files are saved as 8.8.8.8 ARGB afaik.

 

I just use an uncompressed specmap from an older version just like you do, although I've modified the gradients a bit on mine. The version I modified came from the original nexus version I think (2.03.010b)

Yeah, the _s.dds file, the square pattern you can see on the dong is because of dds compression artifacts, the older uncompressed files are saved as 8.8.8.8 ARGB afaik.

Thanks it works again now, and SOS even gave an error message popup about data errors. Was already thinking about doing a fresh Skyrim install, because Skyrim without schlongs would have been a nightmare :D

It's a minor error that shouldn't happen. This was already fixed in a recent version.

 

 

I'm using NMM to install, but, when i choose all option and click to install, appears the message "The mod was not activated". Whats wrong?

The archive is damaged, download it again. Or restart NMM.

This is where Alternate Start - Live Another Life comes in really handy.  Configure all your mods in the prison cell and save your game.  Boom, you have a convenient save where all you have to do to start a new game is load up, use "showracemenu" on the console to create your character however you want, and then talk to the Mara statue to start the game.

Slightly off-topic, but here is a small hint.

 

If you are using alternative star mods like LAL or Skyrim Unbound, make first save after scripts have loaded, before doing any mod configurations. If launcher starts to crash under your scripts, load this save, where they have been preloaded and you can (usually) load gameplay save from there properly. You should be able to load and save normally during session.

 

Preloading scripts from save that has already mod configurations in place is more prone to crash.

 

I took this up when it came up. Sorry about the detour and back to SOS. :)

I believe they are the same for all 3 schlong types yes, I'm not 1005 sure because I only use the Average addon.

 

 

Edit: I checked, they are the same for all schlong types, and yes the specmap in 019 is good too.

I'm not sure what version those dds compression artifacts became visible but it's probably just a good idea to hold on to that particular file and then just toss it in and overwrite whenever a new SOS version comes out.

I have actually a really annyoing problem, hope someone have a hint for me:

So i installed SOS Beta v.2.05.007 (Tried even with the latest SOS Full v. 2.04.008) and the UNP Addon, started a new Game. I love the BlackTalon armor and it works greatly. But after serveral hours, i can't equip the Top and the Shorts at the same time. Even normal Clothes with the SOS underwear don't work. I played around with my Loadorder for serveral hours, but nothing changes.

This is a known issue. When you equip any body armor (the top in this case) on a schlonged NPC or player, SOS adds the biped slot 52 to that armor piece. And then it conflicts with the shorts because they also use slot 52.

As a workaround you can edit the shorts in CK/Nifskope. Make them use another biped slot

 

 

I also have this problem. I thought Blacktalon armor was only for females, and how is it possible my female character is schlongified (I'm not using any ladyboy, etc mods)? I also don't know how to use CK/Nifskope.

Is there a way to trigger an erection during the cooldown from using the spell?

 

Im testing some animations,...and I have to reload everytime I exhaust the erection spell.  Thanks.

I am FINALLY trying this mod after quite a long time.  Very much looking forward to it as I love male themed Elder Scrolls Mods (some folks might be familiar with my Skyrim Man Mods link threads over at the Hall of Torque to give you a hint as to how much I love 'em)  Anyway, I have two questions.  I have the Papyrus Utility installed, but SOS keeps telling me that its not installed, and to exit the game without saving and then go ahead and install 1.9 or higher even though I had the highest version installed.  So then I went ahead and installed 1.9 and got the same message anyway.  Also, on the SOS download page, why is the lighter version the larger version?  Thanks in advance (and I apologize if these questions have already been answered, couldn't find them using the search feature). 

 

 

Edit:  Nevermind.  I figured out that even though I was using the Skyrim Script Extender start shortcut, it wasn't actually starting and I need to "run as administrator" for it to work.  Now that I have done that, everything got schlongified as it was supposed to.  SO, so far so good!

SOS shouldn't modify the Blacktalon armor unless it's equipped on a character with a schlong. Maybe you were using an old version. Use the MCM / clean schlongified armors and report the issue back if that armor breaks again

Depending of the version of PapyrusUtil it might need a MS VC++ redistributable. In this case there should be a warning when launching the game "missing vcom90.dll" or so. For vcom90.dll http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=10015

If is not that, then something is wrong with your SKSE installation, or there is a conflict with another SKSE plugin. Check \Documents\my games\skyrim\SKSE\skse.log, look for papyrusutil or StorageUtil in that file

The light version is larger because 1) the textures are not compressed like SOS standard and 2) they use another layout where there is no texture file for the schlong. This means more variants of the body texture (the largest one) due to the different installer options

Thanks for managing SoS here on LL.  You wouldn't happen to know how to properly export scaling animations on the genital bones for the SoS skeleton huh?

 

Everytime I try to export scaling animation,...I get this....

Is there a way to trigger an erection during the cooldown from using the spell?

 

Im testing some animations,...and I have to reload everytime I exhaust the erection spell.  Thanks.

No idea sorry. Try using the skeleton from SOS.

Np,..Those warnings were from the SoS skeleton.  

 

I know theres a way to export scaling animations, because we see them in-game with the erection animations.

 

when I scale the Genital Base bone the entire chain scales too b/c children bones scale with the parent.,...however this means the scrotum also scales,...which is not what happens in the game during the existing scaling animations.

 

I assumed this meant all were scale-able, but I get this error when exporting everytime.

 

Now Im thinking the animations smurf made were exported a different way (like the genitals alone without the male skeleton attached.) 

 

and accessed in-game through scripts using a modular genital.  

 

My goal was to animate the genitals and male skeleton simultaneously and export as a single animation...but I dont think thats possible.  It's looking to me like actor and genital animations are separate.
