Sorry I have not been around, I have had a number of issues to work through at home including some mental issues with changing medications (tried new ones, didn't work so I changed back to the old ones which are a very heavy sedative). I have been working on rebuilding the quest device equip function while I have been coherent enough to think straight. The change should let it work quickly and not try to equip multiple sets of devices as well, only issue is I have to change the scripts that call on the function to add devices then I can test the actual script itself to see how well it works.

 

Once things settle and the medication gets me more stable I can get back up to speed on things.

​I've been reporting a lot of bugs so I don't envy you sifting through all the pages of posts.

 

​If you like I can collate all of mine into one post, just give me a shout if you do.

Been there with medication changes too so I can totally understand..  Take the time you need as I am sure we all would prefer you to be whole and hearty before worrying over bugs etc..  Your time and efforts are always apreciated even if we (as collective CDS users) sometimes may fail to say..

Two lesser requests and a question:

 

The NPC with the black dress in the VIP building, if you walk up to her she asks you to leave if the Customer 2 quest isn't active and she isn't in a certain spot, but on the way out and in-between the stages if you approach her she will still say "(aprox) you are not a guest or working here so please leave" this seems out of place. Can you give her some other thing to say for shortly after the quest "if you have any further questions please ask master, I must get back to work" or something like that?

 

The mage plug, is it possible to make this plug not vibrate on spell cast? It seems disproportionately punishing on the mages since spell use is their primary means of fighting and interacting, compared to the thief that doesn't get vibed when they pickpocket someone, or the warrior who doesn't get vibed for decapitating someone.

 

Also during a session, the NPC tied up the player against the wall with chains, the chains did not appear and before the NPC released the player a maid showed up to say the session was over, but they didn't let me down. Without digging into your mod's guts, was I supposed to just sit there until either the black dress NPC or the maid came back after a short time to let me down or was enabling the player's controls through debug the correct action because it wasn't intended?

Bug I found as a property (manor) slave, if you don't finish your tasks for the day, Markus will still comment that you have finished them. I did several game days of doing nothing and each day and coming to him late and he recognizes I am late, but says good job on completing the tasks and doing them on time.

 

Pretty much day 1 didn't do any tasks and went to Markus very late after the required time, now he is stuck in a loop whenever I talk to him asking where I was and if I completed the tasks them saying good job on completing the task on time, now go to your room and wait till the next day. Doesn't matter what time of day I talk to him.

 

Not doing the tasks but reporting on time does look to work fine, just seems to break when you report really late after the required time whether you finished the tasks or not.

 

Also tried running away on day 1 to Solitude and waited a few days then ran around in the open world. No idea if something was supposed to happen but nothing did.

 

Also is there a list list of bug we can see somewhere? So we aren't reporting on the same bugs as other people.

Just an update on my issue with this mod, I have managed to play the game without crashing after hours of trying new things... Not even sure what fixed the CTD's but it was a mix of TES5edit, loads of reinstalling, etc.

 

When starting a new game I am still getting camera issues (from this mod exclusively). Basicially it allows the player to go to third person at the start where it otherwise wouldent. Maybe its a conflict with the cutscenes in skyrim and the mod, such as when you don't have control of the character?

 

Finally, now, instead of crashing as soon as I get control of the character after the prequel, It allows me to actually play now after my accidental fix of random edits with TES5 and reinstalls...

 

Loading saves sometimes still results in CTD's, and I usually load an old save that is stable to then load the new save I made, its a way I bypass this issue. Anyway, I just enabled my papyrus logs, still having trouble actually bringing them up, but if CTD's continue, I will try to post it here for you guys. Strange that I seem to be the only one with this issue.

 

Maybe some of you helpful troubleshooters can try generating a new save and see if you get similar results of the bug?

 

Anyway, gonna test the features of the mod later and see if its stable enough to use like the older update, keep up the great work!

Assist a customer 2 sessions get a bit erratic for me; customer plays master but forgets what he is currently doing, especially if player is in furniture; when he orders food and it's brought, he just walks out of the room while door is still open.

 

My first post here is a bug report, but I'd like to take the time to thank you, dear mod author, for outstanding job you're doing.

Finally pinpointed the problem to one of two things, at this point I am tired to figure out which of the two it was.

 

(I use MOD Organizer)

 

1. Did a couple more reinstalls now, and when promted to the textures, I was usually picking (Vanilla) which is slightly better than the (Original) setting. Keep in mind I use the CBBE version, but it seems like picking (Vanilla) was the likely cause to the CTD's as changing to original ceased the crashes (but still seems to bug the intro on new games). 

** I did not try the high or very high options**

 

2. A much less likely cause would be the third checkmark on the final screen which is exclusive to Mod Manager downloads. Like I said before, I am not bothering pinpointing any further than this as it has hogged a lot of time and forced me to watch that shitty intro cut scene over and over.

 

I installed the optional Female guards, loaded CBBE, used original textures, and left the last screen with 0/3 check marks and its working. Just to summarize, the last two variables I did not exclusively test was if the high and very high textures will work with CBBE like the original does and if the third check mark on the final install page works when textures are set to original.

 

Sorry if this is confusing, but I hope this helps someone out.

I've had lots of CTDs since updating CD, I solved some by wiping and then reinstalling everything from scratch (as well as completely removing some intensive mods and a few mods I don't really use) but I still get the CTD on loading saves, Crash Fixes reports a FootIK error on the occassions where I do get an error pop up from it and it takes a lot of reloading for me when it happens to get the save to actually load. I also now get game freezes when I approach the CD shop area (with full expansion due to doing mine slave start) which unfortunately makes the mod unplayable for me.

Hi, i'm running into trouble at the smithy (should be task rank 7) as a property slave. i surpassed my quota enough to get the rank 8 task, but here is the problem :

De'Zra tells me to come back the following morning because she has something special for me, but whenever i talk to her afterwards (even 2 days later, speaking to her every few hours), i get nothing from her.

 

Do i need to talk to another npc?

 

Also, she doesn't check what i crafted anymore sinc she spoke of the special task, so it's accumulating quite a bit.

 

Any help from people who got past it?

I edit the ModuleConfig.XML to work on MO

Open the archive with 7zip and replace  "FOMOD\ModuleConfig.XML"

The original script works for me and quite a few other users just fine in MO V1.3.11.

So if the archive isn't damaged, then either NCC is outdated or MO is configured to use the native FOMOD installer, what is not supported.

So if the installer doesn't work, then re-install MO not updating the existing installation. MO is pretty much portable so one can have another installation that only reuses the iNi-file of the previous installation.

Hey, love the mod. Glad I decided to download it again. But I have some problem: Master doesn't remove the "captured dream" stuff that she equipped me for the delivery, and same thing with the free trial. She can remove easily the other devices she puts on me, but not these ones. And since there is no key for them, I'm kinda stuck.

One or more of the reset options in the CD MCM menu will remove CD scripted items, including the delivery, slave and free trial items.

 

Can't remember which ones will do the trick though, probably just save and try each one that looks relevant until you get the best case.

Whenever I try to install one of the 4.x versions, I am getting the following error from NMM at around 50% unpacking:

"A problem occurred during install:

The element 'plugin' got an invalid elemt "typeDescriptor". Expected was the list of possible elements: "image, files, conditionFlags".

The mod was not installed."

(For some reason, that message is in original in english for line 1 and 3 and in german for line 2)

 

I am using NMM V 0.56.1 which is outdated, but a newer version of it was causing problems in the past.

 

Could anyone give me a hint, how I can still install Captured Dreams? (for my playstyle, there is no reason to play at all, if I cannot play with CD and CL ;))

Val, hope you feel better

some observatios:-

Chaste spouse
   After starting this (belt bra and col) the sub coversations
   only get the first half of response and not the "you are more sub" end.
   maybe thats expected ?
   using the relief choice it runs OK but keeps repeating and slave says "not fiished/satisfied" whatever
   eventualy master says you are done but slave does another round and then master won't put belt ect back on
   I think the issue may be the trigger for the slave to re-run the scene is the PC's arousal level? and master sees it
   below triger level but it then gets inc'd and slave looks at it and sees it above
   After getting married if you go direct to cds without spouse and talk to master she ask to see spouse but still gives "key" and says "done"
   which kind of breaks the senario. Had to use movetopc to get spouse into CDS (spouce would not follow into cds) then it worked and spouse got the key
   positve sceens etc with spouse work
   The punishmets start but stall, or take alonnng time did not wait beyod 2h game time to see if any thing would happen
   You get bound if you use play box or spouce say you are bad
   useing X frame spouse comments and then puts gag & bf on pc and then it stalls
   using dwemer-milk.. spouce comments and it stalls

Also followd non-chaste to relasionship slave works ,OK only oddity was a out of sequence standard force greet with master after teleport from CDS to manor just did the minimal responcses and it carried on OK till pc ends up in thie assigned room and back under normal control

I am having an issue with what i believe is the minor punishment scene where my character is moved and hung up to be whipped, but the scene stops after the master says: "Thank you Herran." I do not have control of the character either.

This seems to be specific to this mod as other mods with similar scenes work fine. Fuz ro D'oh is installed and there are no errors that I can see. The only thing appearing in the console commands is: Event dhlp-Suspend received I have no idea what this means or how it might be affecting the scene.

I'm getting a glitch in the Thalmor Embassy.  In the dungeon, after clicking to activate,  Elenwen comes down the stairs and discusses me with the guard but then just stands there... nothing happens.  In addition, there seems to be an invisible blockage about 3 feet inside the barred door that is about the width of a door.  I can go around it and run right out through the bars.

 

I tried just loading back before the quest and unchecking it in the MCM, thinking that I'd get sent on a different quest instead but I still got Thalmor Embassy.

 

Anyone have any ideas?  Am I just missing something obvious (always a distinct possibility)?

I'm getting a glitch in the Thalmor Embassy.
I'm getting that too. Two things might help.

 

1. Using "Disengage" power provided by "Death Alternative" mod before approaching Embassy. This will stop any current combat (some troll can try to fight you from the other side of the hill and you might not even know). Being in combat seriously screws up the whole thing.

 

2. That door event is glitchy and sometimes just doesn't work no matter what; so I just advance the quest to next stage through console - got really good at that these days :)

this will show you the list of stages, find the earliest one that's still set to zero

setstage CDxExpQuest02 <number of the stage>

Feature request: allow the player to go through the sexy punishing scenarios without losing rank with Master first. Just by asking Master for it, with sub check or something.

All you can do is either update NMM or switch to Mod Organizer (which really is better and still pretty easy to use).

This is my first time playing captured dreams. When I first entered the captured dreams shop (after I received 2 ad flyers) there were two Carla's. I am wondering if it is "normal" for there to be two carla's. I was a level 6 when I entered.

 

If it is not normal for there to be 2 of them has this happened to anyone else? and is there a fix or workaround?

Version 4.05 contains the names problem bug... master becomes hunter, herran guest, etc...

Or maybe it's because I didn't start a new game ?

 

...

 

 

On a new game i did run in to the same problem. On starting the first quest a recovery job, the journal entry got messed up, the questname got the questinfo and the individual steps are blank, i did finish the quest.

 

 

It is not normal, all the NPC should have propper names. Sadly i do not know what causes it, still hoping for a response on this.

I started a new game to use the newer update and for some reason the MCM menu is blank, the pages for player info, quest options and such are there but clicking on them brings up nothing.

Hi I've got the same issue, but I think this is an issue already reported several time.

I think the first day in smith doesn't end as planned as when my pc woke up I don't get the message "start a new day as a slave"
