i use this mod from the begining

and i have try 4.xx all and poste my error but no answer ( belt code 6, all time i have bug in job quest - no validation, stuck in dialogue, no device check, ctd,player freeze, ...) i have do test for every version 2h = 12h ( 4.00 to 4.05) i can't move on the mod i stuck at begin

and i use NMM

it's like i already wrote: Vel got alot of reports and he can't answer everyone. And wouldn't you prefer if he spend the time trying to fix things instead of answering?

Please just deal with the errors for now and use the latest version, testing the things that work ... until they don't work anymore, what hopefully isn't the case for everything and very likely isn't because a few already reported working tasks. But different mod combinations will lead to different results and reports about such things are needed and welcome.

any help on the erani quest (CDxExpQuest04)? the one where you get erani? 

ive hiut what i think is a bug, and i ve no idea what going on, guesses at the end.

 

i go to inquire after erani, and Master goes through the whole do you have a house? dialog. no issues.

then on the "lets go tell her the news" bit, screen fads to black and both the PC and master teleport to erani. 

this is where things get fucky.

after the teleport, erani just gives her "dont bother me" line and walks away. the fuck?

Master also just walks away, and the PC is stuck ion the scene mode, walking out of the manor and down the road towards markarth. the hell?????

 

am i missing something, ie a "show erani what do" spell or is summit else going on?

 

or is this quest just bugged, and i should't turn it in yet?

 

EDIT: managed to fix this via setstage, notably setstage CDxExpQuest04 500. setstaging to 400 causes a crash.

After v. 4.x I can't load any save even I start new game. With v 3.84 everything is OK. Any clue ?

 

see the note about upgrading to v 4.x in the description.

the tl:dr version: it dont work. you can TRY a clean save, get rid of ALL of the scripts, etc. and then try v 4.x not garentted to work though.

recommend: put v 4.x on a save that has NEVER had anyv 3.xx CD in it.

When I do the party quest where master stays, the guards will try and start to have sex with PC and PC will have player controls enabled, then I have to disable player controls from the MCM menu to move the scene forward. After finishing the whole scene and returning to the shop, master will turn around and take me right back and seems to be stuck in a loop.

Ohhh that explain things, I have both those mods and gave up on Captured Dreams because of the CTDs. They indeed are heavy ones.

I think possible PC responses are governed by your traits now - if the PC is set to be submissive, only moderate/sub responses appear. If PC is full sub, only sub dialogue will appear.

 

 

Not so. My rebellious dominant character also had the same positive remarks only during the dinner party.

 

 

Conditions were changed somewhat on the quest. If you go voluntarily it should only show the 'nice' dialogue, if you go as a punishment it would show all of the choices. The reason for the restriction on the voluntary version is that the primary factor for letting you go is being fully submissive (3 or less) and having one of several traits that would have made the trip something you should have wanted.

 

 

My character was sent as punishment yet I only had positive responses to Elenwen at the Party.  Other times it would allow the player to call her a bitch but not at the party.

 

Possible bug?

I uninstalled and reinstalled 4.05 with the patch (got missing textures and lookup failures without it), started a new game, now Mecius is constantly force greeting me in the mines even if I let him run through all his dialogue without skipping any and I can't mine as a result.

BUG:  I seem to be getting another one:

​So, as a punishment the player has been put outside the shop in a cage.

​The next day herren comes to get the player and return her to Master.

​Master then repeats the same dialogue as the day before saying "I think i will make an example of you and put you on display outside".

​Every day, the same situation repeats which I don't seem to be able to break the loop.

​I have repeated this same punishment 5 days in a row now to see if it ends but it doesn't seem to.

 

EDIT:

 

To reproduce:

​Player is DOMINANT

​Master tells player she "will make an example out of her"
​Player told Master she "doesn't like being tied up"
Same cage punishment repeats every day.

​Have managed to break to cycle by selecting "I like bring tied up"  or the other option but if you keep saying "I don't like bring tied up" then the scene repeats every day.

 

EDIT:

​Another BUG (old bug that I thought I read had been fixed):

​Master is still refusing to give the Player a delivery job because she is not wearing one of Master's belts... but she is, a belt given to Player for being 10,000 gold in debt to Master.

Wow.  You had to start the whole game from scratch? :o   OR once you did that you could go back to your existing game?

I have a collection of starting saves :). 

 

Actually new games player wise are easy to do, I just use console commands (player.advskill etc.) to setup my player however I want (skills, levels,  equipment etc.). Doesn't take 5 minutes.  

 

It's setting up all the MODs that's the killer heh.  Lots now allow you to save settings, but still that's the biggest PITA.

So I'm going to press my luck and try upgrading from 4.01 to 4.05 with the clean save method.  The expansion hasn't started yet for this save, I am still getting advertisements for the CD shop.  However since I am at a point where level ups take awhile (35), I don't want to wait through the 3 levels of CD ads before I get the courier that finally gives me a job offer from Master, which officially launches the expansion. 

 

Can someone tell me the console commands needed to advance through the 3 "deliver an ad" courier quests so I don't have to re-do these again?

 

Don't need to force CD, just level up your character.   player.advskill 'skill' xx. 

skill = skill you want to increase (no quotes).

xx = amount

 

eg.

player.advskill marksman 500

 

increases archery by 500.  Smithing, lightarmor, onehanded etc.   Do it how you'd level your character in game naturally, until you get lvl 8 and CD triggers naturally.  You'll get the notice.

 

edit: might want to move around at the levels where a courier comes so you can recieve them, then level some more.  Not sure if problems could be caused by going lvl 1 - 8 in one go.

I may have snapped my fingers at Master asking to hurry remove the belt after a delivery done... she got a bit upset, wrapped me like a gift and I spent a couple days in a cage far away. So now I'm back but she refuses to remove anything from me because she's still upset, so she tells me to wait a few more days.

Well I've done quests and such (terribly difficult) and a month has passed, but she still refuses, am I missing anything?

Few bugs i found in the scripts:

 

Function TaskScheduler():

 

Task3 (fetch water) is assigned a 0 no matter what when it should be a 1 (Assuming this task is suppose to be functional)

 

Task6 (Assit manor NPC) is assigned 0 no matter what when it should be 1 if "if t6c <= 2". Both if/else statements assign it 0.

 

 

Function SetTaskA/c/d/ect():

 

This weight based task selector is slightly flawed (Which is why i suggested the just entirely random one instead). From my tests, it appears neither Task8, Task6, or Task7 can be selected. 

 

 

The manor tasks selected are only "Collect firewood", "Go to the shop", "Sweep dirt". The dirt sweeping is annoying as hell and is ALWAYS selected no matter what if you're going for 3 tasks a day.

Im stuck on smithy task, first day goes made the quota but then nothing next day never starts just get standard dialogue. Anybody can help or is it bugged? Also i got random tents in the barracks building, minor thing but a bit weird.

The only way  to "bypass" the smithy bug is to wait until an update, or just cheat waaay past the initial quota so you'll have a different task the next day.

This may be a strange, minor issue but uh...when my PC got strung up for punishment in the shop, Herran used his glass sword to swing at me instead of a whip :blink:

 

I mean...I SURVIVED it, but it was pretty nuts lol

Sadly i tried to bypass it this way by making the excess quota, i get the line about having a special task tomorrow but same thing no dialogue starts in regards to the task

Found another bug:

 

At the end of Property quest, select "Freedom". You're then sent to your room with the manager guy. He then walks away and leaves you in a frozen state. You're suppose to be given your items back

 

 

Here is the exception:

Is there some sort of "profiler" for Skyrim that runs in the background and prints an output afterwards which mods needed the most CPU or something like that?

Large mods usually have a lot of scripts and add lots of script instances in the saves. That's something you can see when using save cleaners such as "SaveTool" or "ReSaver". With those, you're able to parse scripts by mod and see how many scripts the mod added to the save. Mods like Legacy of the Dragonborn, Falskaar etc have hundreds of scripts if I recall correctly.

This mod says that it requires Devious Devices Integration 3.1 beta or an old version. When I go to the download page, I don't see 3.1 beta. What's the story with that and what breaks in 3.1?
