I started debugging the CDxDiaEraniManor script, and it CTDd when running erani.resetinventory(). I'm beginning to wonder if there's something fundimentally broken with my save. *Sigh* I'll have to start a new game to test.
Veladarius Posted August 23, 2016 Author Posted August 23, 2016 iv been playing for a while now and the quests in the thalmor embassy works great except for the zaz furnitures, the player and one npc get in all of those except for the wooden pole in that room incorrectly and by that i mean they are placed slightly sideways or to far into the furniture..oh and the x cross in the next cell (where you can save) have the same thing.. might be something on my side but ill say it anyway just in case It is an issue with the furniture and how it interacts with the AI packages, they just don't line up well with some being worse than others. Also, the camera angle can make a big difference on how well it does. This has been an issue since the quest was made back in early v3. I should probably also mention I went through the process of this upgrade to fix the "Hold on a moment" dialogue bug with the Master shop which as of this savegame doesn't seem to have been fixed :C Was that for the Confiscation quest (happened while trying to purchase/sell something) or another one? If it was for Confiscation did you have any DD items and were any not being used? Also if you can post a papyrus log so I can see if it throwing any errors.

Is there more prerequisites? ( Yes they are enabled in MCM )

Have waited until v4.04 and just added it to my current game 2 quick queries if I may? 1 - Textures: They all seem to be complete so far (i am going to play through the site expansions properly - I see no point in you taking the trouble to make it interesting and then just 'cheat' to get the whole thing ), except that, of all things the CD sign in front of the house is purple. I'm using the 2048 option. Any idea where I can find/add the missing texture? I'll copy it in from a prior installation if you can tell me the texture name and current target location/folder tree where it should be 2 - Add-on management. In previous versions, I added all the CD-xxx files into my game and merged them with the older versions of Merge Plugins script in TES5Edit, and they all appeared in game fine, other than a couple which pointy blank wouldn't merge OK and were included separately in my load order. This time, almost everything that was in that list was included in a merge, with a whole heap of other armours, made by the Standalone Merge Plugins mod. That merged esp is now one of the 250+ mods in my game's load order. I have tried running the MCM add-on manager, but it just sits there saying 'working'. I have so far left it a couple of times, probably for about 15 min max, and I'm happy to leave it to run longer if you tell me that it should eventually pick up the right stuff. But before I do that, can you confirm that current 4.04 CD will still pick up addons, even if they are in game in a merged esp? If it won't, I might just start a new game, as I don't want to lose any of your efforts, and revert to an earlier save to finish the current game, albeit without CD TIA for any help you can offer

When the timer expires it checks if it should start it or reset the timer. I will add this to what I am looking into tonight. It is weird. It may be 2 different things, 1 is it tries to start a quest that is already running (1st crash) 2 is that it tries to reset a quest that has ended. I have removed the attempt to start the running quest and have changed the end of the Solitude quest so it isn't trying to reset when it finishes. Also, on Erani wandering off, there are 2 different quests that control her depending on what is happening and both had the same priority so I adjusted that. I posted where they can be found in one of the other sets in another post (between your post and my reply). 2- The Addon Manager only recognizes the 4 mods listed in Extras and must have their esp's active as it pulls the items from them using scripts. As for if it will pick up the old addons it is doubtful as most all of the leveled lists have changed. The addon's relied on empty addon lists to put everything in and those no longer exist. Also, I had issues with the old addon's while using v4 as some caused issues with stability.

However, the Master does not recognise the belt she installed as part of the slave into as her own. This means she won't give me any jobs ("I won't give you work until you're wearing one of *my* belts"). Yet at the same time she won't remove the current one I'm wearing (which again, she gave me in the first place). So basically I'm locked out of missions from her. For reference it's the "CD Chastity Belt Padded Open Back" she gave me and I'm currently wearing that she won't recognise. A popup also mentions, "Belt Code 9," whatever that means. And I'm not sure if it's relevant or just a random glitch, but when she first equipped them on my character, they appeared for a moment, vanished for about two seconds (unequipped?) and then re-appeared again. Not sure if that's normal, or if it might be a possible source of the bug.

I keep running into issues with dialog repeating. In my most recent play session, I tried doing the Windhelm quest, and things went fine right up until the end. But then after Master gives Erani to me, Erani wouldn't move, and just repeatedly force-greeted with "please take me to your home". Tried multiple times with the same result, and couldn't find any way to get her unstuck. So I reloaded an earlier save and tried the Solitude quest. At the end of the second session, Elisif kept repeating her force-greet about how intense it was. Tried that a couple times with no luck. I quit after that. In another play session, I was made a manor slave, and after the initial orientation, the guy just stayed in my room introducing himself repeatedly. No apparent way to advance. And a similar but possibly unrelated problem that I reported earlier: When getting the free trial with CL enabled, it gets stuck when Master tries to equip the belt. She just keeps repeating her line "let me adjust this a bit" indefinitely without equipping it. I haven't been clicking through dialog quickly. Much of the time I'll wait for the NPC's dialog subtitle to completely fade before clicking a response. Is that not long enough? This is a new computer with an i5-6600K processor and a 1080 GTX, I feel like it should be able to handle things pretty well. This is my load order for reference, and I've included a papyrus log below. The patch needs updating so the new color items likely won't show up though. The dialogue is keyed to detect if the character is male or female and has some variation between them in places. What is going on with this MCM, obviously we shouldn't have to install a 4.02 fix over a 4.04 fix? You reverted the localized MCM to the unlocalized. And it's usually not safe to use older scripts with newer mod versions or vice versa. Nope I didn't, I used the .esp in the BASE folder and did not install the .esp in the Unlocalised folder Another Bug (mining slave related): When you return to the CD mine after being asked to go collect some ebony ingots from some Orc... if you don't do it and come back without the ingots... upon entering the mine the Overseer asks you why you didn't get the ingots the dialogue then offers 2 options of "..." 1 causes the dialogue to loop over and over again, the other terminates the force greet and then there is no way to end the mission and continue the mining slave quest. I have made a change to how it works so hopefully it will complete properly. So I reloaded an earlier save and tried the Solitude quest. Added a scene to Elisif after the scene is done to 'reset' her, should hopefully help. It happens if you already have a standard shop belt on, ie a debt belt or free trial belt. At this point I don't know if it will reset itself properly or not because of all the variables in it. The quests while in the smithy should not run a second time though.

I looked back through a couple pages but didn't see my exact issue come up, maybe I'm missing an obvious fix but: I've started a new game, ran a delivery quest, am late/lose it so I earn a punishment. Then the pc gets strung up in chains and stripped, and then the master and Herran just stand there and nothing else happens. Any ideas? Thanks!

If the mod or animations force you into 3rd person scroll back in. That was the only way I could finish the scene. No idea what causes it though.

Bricks Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 I must be the king of weird ass errors. So, Here is the situation: Got to the point where the Submission score was high enough to trigger events. Was told to meet a guest in the VIP house. got there, did the shower thing, and my char walked herself to the mine and stood by the gate in it trying to walk through. Reloaded to before getting the VIP quest, was told the master wanted to see me. Master says she is going to go get a guest, my char then walks to the mine and stands by the gate trying to walk through that. One of those two thing happens every time I reload. Any ideas what is causing this?

Had a look and, FWIW: Textures: Only 2 folders in my 2048 install have any file content. They are C:\.........\SxLab CD Captured Dreams v4.04\Textures\Actors\character\facegendata\facetint\captured dreams.esp contains 118 .dds files C:\,,,,,,....\SxLab CD Captured Dreams v4.04\Textures\Devious\Store Within the latter are only 5 .dds files: cdadvert - copy.dds : cdadvert.psd : cdadvertisement.psd : mannequin.dds : untitled-1.psd : watermark.png From your other reply above, I guess that something may be missing?.... Add-ons Thanks for clarifying how they work. Have only one .esp slot left . I know this is a subjective judgement, but if I can only have one working, can you say which you reckon would make most impact in getting as close to your intended 'look and feel' for the mod overall? Wykes Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 It may be 2 different things, 1 is it tries to start a quest that is already running (1st crash) 2 is that it tries to reset a quest that has ended. I have removed the attempt to start the running quest and have changed the end of the Solitude quest so it isn't trying to reset when it finishes. Also, on Erani wandering off, there are 2 different quests that control her depending on what is happening and both had the same priority so I adjusted that. Well, I've coded around it, but I'm still none the wiser: I altered the script at stage 400 of CDxExpQuest04, wrapping the 'eranimanor.start()' in an 'if !eranimanor.IsRunning()' block. Then I altered the CDxDiaEraniManor script, and commented out the erani.resetInventory() call. This stopped the CTDs. Erani then took a walk off to the lake on the way to Lakeview Manor (player home), before returning to the Master's Manor and doing stuff. So... I'm somewhat confused, but it now appears to be working. FSVO working, I guess.

Das geht aber jetzt nicht mehr? --------------------- I once had a version.. 4:02 was that I think .. I could talk to the people in the mine, they ask how long they've Slaven Master etc. But this is not now?
