Thanks for the update!

I installed 3.1 over a clean (and script cleaned) save.

Works fine, except for no bandits on deliveries. Free samples is active. No indication she will ever release me...

When I get to the first task for the Master, (CDxExpQuest01), I get the letter from the courier, read it, and go talk to the Master.

She greets me, says how glad she is that I came, but her new jobs topic only ever lists deliver and recover deliveries.

I have done a bunch more of those, but a topic related to the Jarl never shows up. CDxExpQuest01 is stuck on Stage 30.

Dengeir is Jarl of Falkreath. sqv CDxExpQuest01 shows CurrentJarl set to NONE. Everything else looks reasonable.

I saw oneother person (at least) stuck on this quest at this point.

Any suggestions? I tried setting stage to 35 - no help. Did I look at "new jobs" after that.. Hmm... (35 not a valid stage anyway)

 

OK - changed stage to 100, got the go talk to the Jarl Quest. Went to see Dengeir - he had no topics related to Quest and Quest would not advance.

Missing menu options almost sounds like I need a SEQ file...

 

Also Vel - you are often posting a loose .esp in this topic - how do we know if it is later than patch 01? These things need version numbers...

 

I have the same problem, the master does not react on the letter she sent to me (CDxExpQuest01=30). After setting it to 100 I can go to the Jarl, the "fitting" takes place and I shall go back to the master. And here the same again, the master doesn't react.

The end of her dialogue sets the stage to 100 and the end of Siddgeir's dialogue sets it to 495 which (very important) plays a short scene that clears the force greet Siddgeir had used (likely what someone else skipped and caused issues). From there it goes to stage 900.

i also have a problem with this quest when i get to the jarl he does nothing with nenya and just stare at eachother 

 

 

If you didn't see any dialogue between Siddgeir and Nenya then Fus Ro D'oh is not installed / working.

Make sure you have v 6.11 of ZAZ Animation Pack as v6.10 will cause stops in scenes.

 

Beyond that use sqs cdxexpquest01 to see the list of stages and use setstage to set it to the first one of them that have a 0 next to it.

July 1st and no update.  I was (possibly)promised a july update!

 

I am already immensely disappointed.

 

I think I might cry.

 

The update is maybe probably coming in July.

He can't give an exact date obviously.

Veladarius - I am in the fortunate situation of having just purchased a new computer.  This means when I install Skyrim, I can configure/mod the game for a clean start set up for your upcoming new version.  (Hopefully you are still on schedule to release it sometime in July?) I was wondering which body type I should use to get the best results with your captured dreams devices?  I have tried various versions of both UNP and CBBE with HDT in the past with mixed results.   One issue I had with CBBE was I could never get those soulgem nipple piercings to line up right. I was able to get it working with UNP. That could be the tie-breaker, since I know you use them in your mod.  Any advice would be appreciated.

There are a few sets of CBBE Bodyslide conversions for the devices including the nipple piercings. I think the only reason I have not switched to UUNP is that a lot of armors I use do not have UUNP versions.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.  My desktop PC (the new one I referred to is a laptop) is currently set up for CBBE, which I actually prefer. And, I agree .. many of my favorite armors, etc. use CBBE, too.   I have tried various CBBE bodyslide conversions for the soulgem piercings without success.  Could you point me to the specific one you use? (.. tell me you didn't see THAT request coming!)

For some reason, any character in the shop I speak to says nothing but "I beg your pardon" and refuses to talk to me.

Use the following in the console and check the Global Variables

If there are any that are x.5 they need changed to a full value (no .5). You can change it as follows:

 

setvalue <globalvariable> to <x>

 

If CDxRankMaster is 0 check the status of the Framework:   sqv cdxframework    it should be set to stage 10 once you have spoken with the Master the first time. You can set the stage manually to 10 if needed.

Okay, I can't make heads or tails of this problem.

 

The short version: Scenes stop, a LOT. No one tied up at all, but everyone just stops moving and stops responding completely. So far, the ONLY method that has worked for jump starting it again is to enable player control, leave the area (via a door), turn around, re-enter the area, and about %50 of the time the scene will restart when I get close enough and turn off player control. It's extremely hit & miss tho. I've had this happen on the first and second quest the Master sends you on. I've checked your page, I have tried all the steps recommended there, including resetting the idle, and it literally isn't working. Everything just STOPS.

 

For the record, this happened with the Jarl of Falkreath and his deal with the assistant (name forgotten). I had to exit and reenter that longhouse more times than I can count just to get through it. Now the Thalmor lady Elenwen just stands there doing nothing at the start of her quest, and I can't even exit the cell on this one (door leads nowhere) to reset her. I'm truly at a loss...

I uninstalled both the 6.11 patch and the 6.1 of ZaZ animations, and reinstalled them both (in proper order), had FNIS do its thing...  now back in the game it won't even get to the elven lady. it stops when it should transition the scene to go into the building. Both my character and the Thalmor guard just stand there. I think the guard is waiting for my character, but she just isn't walking forward on her own, stopping right at the inner gate, which I believe is the entry line/scene transition boundary.

As for number of mods I am at about 240 not including texture replacers but it has taken a long time to get a stable game, there were times I had to drop mods I really liked as they caused too many issues.

I got ctd when saving right after Tavish first quest demonstration. It happens when I lose control over character and dialogs of choosing appear.

 

You should be able to save at any point in a scene so long as you are not in direct dialogue or a sexlab act, as to why it would crash I have no idea as I have not seen it happen myself.

Okay, i figured out the problem. Please ignore the pre-edit post if you read it. One of the files from Fuz ro'doh got misplaced. When a few other mods started giving me fits too, I realized it couldn't just be just yours. Uninstalling it and reinstalling it manually did the trick, and the stuff seems to be working properly now. So chalk this one up to user error.

Replayed the mod today without any issues. Only one time i had to change quest stage in delivery scene.

 

Any chance we'll see the new update this weekend?

I haven't been paying attention to this thread to avoid spoilers, don't know what changed in 4.0

 

If you haven't changed the dom/sub system, can you add a modevent that fires everytime you change the value so other mods can catch it?

 

Or is there another way to watch for changes without polling?

this is the first adult quest mod i have played :blush: great thanks to Veladarius' work,i love the beautiful equipment in the shop!

Recently i learned how to use VPN to log in loverslab :heart: ,for i wanna know when to issue the next version :D ?

i am eagerly looking forward to it!!

By the way,the version 3.84 is stable,i have only met just a few of CTD in the embassy :P .

If you have been avoiding the thread I will say one thing, you will need a new game or at least one that has not had CD installed on it before, it has changed that much.

 

I can send the Mod Event when it is changed, I think I can send the new value as well at the same time.
