witch quest do i start to get locked in an inescapable arm-binder and lock in a cage in forest/mountain?

 

Fail at the delivery job and you'll get a whipping and will be caged in the mountains.

 

 

The inescapable armbinder gets added if you happen to kill 1 or 2 of the bandits and still get beaten, Don't kill any and it is just a normal one.

The bandit's armbinder would be inescapable  if you would kill 2 of them and lose for the third

Re: becoming a slave: Will this be the result of several failed quests, or willing submission? Also, will there be a quest to escape, or is it sort of a game ending decision?

It will be a combination of how submissive you are and how much they like you. They will have to like you (score of 13+) and be submissive (score of 7 or less). Once you reach that point you will be given the option to submit to the Master but of those scores become more favorable there is the possibility that it will be done without asking. I figure if you keep being submissive and trying to please them they figure you really do want it.

 

Becoming a slave will not end the game. I am going to have it be aware of what is going on in Skyrim and a number of quests that you do. Quests where you can do one thing or another she will have you do it in a way that benefits her (the Civil War is one of these). You are a useful, and soon to be influential, pawn for her and she intends to use you. Should you start to become more dominant later you will be given the opportunity to escape.

This is what I am looking at as far as content releases:

 

 

#1 -- 3 scenes and 2 quests  --  The scenes will be repeatable and one will involve some new npc's. One of the quests will also be repeatable and the other is only done once as it sets up for some story content.   ---Construction on this starts this week---

 

#2 -- Expansion of the area around the shop  --  I am going to add a home for the Master (with extras), stable with forge, barracks and possibly a small inn. This may involve a few small quests during construction.

 

#3 -- Allow the player to become a slave to the Master  --  I need the extra space from #2 to do this properly as I want the player to be able to do more than just stand there and be tied up all day.

 

Beyond -- There are more things I am looking to do later including a large story quest involving some dungeons and a new world space.

 

There will probably be some other things that get added here and there as I figure out how to do different things.

 

Don't forget about the collar and leash thing while planning for no. 3  ;)

 

Maybe it would be a idea to look for another place when building the larger setting, it's already a bit cramped at the moment. Also maybe some slave labor scene's/cages underground to further reduce clutter on the map. Would also fit very nicely in with lore in my opinion.

 

Also just a thought if you get in touch with Aelie to merge the permanent slavery thing from point 3 into a LADL starting choice.

Hrm... sounds complicated.

 

I still hold the idea that if the player trespasses on Master's property and gets caught (or rather noticed my an NCP) they should be held captive for a while in Master's dungeon. Not a slave mind you, but of course heavily bound so that they cannot escape without a bit of work. Master would probably torchure/interrogate the player too. Maybe if the player doesn't escape they'll get put that cage on the hill after a while. That would be the end of that, I think, as the player is left to break out on their own.

Well if the quest is based around your submissive level that variable could be set at the start of LADL, a specific quest progression ID could be set and the player starting in location X.  The slavery mod on the Nexus uses a hideout underground, something like that isn't too hard to make even for a starting modder.

suggestion:

 

could you add a sleepingbag or some other way to sleep just outside the shop? because I often have to wait before the shop crew wake up to be able to trade and quest and so while not trespassing (I know I could pick the lock and wake up the people inside but somehow that has always sounded silly to me, imo people waken during the night by a stranger shouldnt casually talk with him, thats one of the weirdness of skyrim (and previous TES games before it))

 

because, you know, when you sleep outside, anything can happen, like, I dont know, waking up in a cage, or getting used as test subject for that new woodhorse or that experimental paddle ... ;)

i am still figuring out the crime factions and such, once I do I will add some things utilizing that. The jail function that Skyrim uses is rather automated but somewhat vague on what to set up and how but I can think of a number of uses for it.

 

The expansion will clear more of the trees down the road towards the Half Moon mill. The space is relatively flat and won't require much alteration other than the clearing of trees and such. The main reasons I chose the area was there was room to expand and there were few mods that did anything with that area.

Could you place some extra lighting around the grounds when you expand? With most ENB's it's a bit dark there and if you have some scenes running there that isn't great with low lighting at night. And maybe some suitable fence/wall around the shop grounds. Don't want any girls leaving without permission do we ;)

I intend to add more lighting, I will probably do custom lights on the outside just as I did on the inside so that will help if it looks dark. It should be decently lit around the sign and whipping posts, there are 5 lightsources there currently.

 

If I can do it the way I want (which I should be able to) I plan on having everything built in phases during the game so at the start it will just be the shop, then trees are cleared and have various buildings under construction until everything is built. In game it will probably take a 2-3 weeks to complete.

Well done on the encounters with this mod, they are tough not the usual one hit bandits. I'm running out of potions doing these deliveries and recoveries :D

Maybe some custom lightposts would do the trick, you can place them more conveniently around the grounds. Something like the design below or with a larger T-bar for 1 lantern at each side.

Not to turn your ideas into a grindfest, but since the master only offers quests to unlocked individuals, why not offer something for slaves? Would the master turn away free labor in building the shop? Basically, 'recruit' the player who is wearing the various items to help build the shop up. Use the sawmill nearby to gather x amount of woods or something. I love the idea of the shop being built in game but I would guess a fair number of players who would use your mod also use the LADL, which means on harder difficulties, the player might miss all your grand work while they try to survive wherever LADL dropped them. I hate the idea of starting in helpless bondage and missing content because my elf can't hobble fast enough down the road.

I wanted it to be tough, I actually had to tone it down a bit from what I initially had. Originally there were 4 bandits and the custom weapons they had were set up with a paralysis enchantment, 1 hit was all it took to end things.

I'm having an issue where the slaves are all clothed and the faces and arms of the characters are toned differently. Any suggestions?

just out of curiosity, is the option in sexlab MCM "use nudesuite for female" checked ?

if yes, try unchecking it, and the opposit if not and see if you get a different result with the slaves in the shop.

If you upgraded to the version with no clothes during the game you may need to resurrect them to get the outfit to change. Also, if you are using Wrye Bash you may need to rebuild the bashed patch. As for the textures I am not sure. The mod includes all the Facegen textures and meshes and they use the standard races so it should be the same as any other npc's. If you have any mods that change the races you may want to make sure Captured Dreams is loaded after them.

Bit of feedback and an idea for when serving the Master comes round. 

 

I found that if the only bandit left alive is the mage, she can't capture you. She'll reduce your health to 0, but could neither kill me nor capture me. The text box never came up, she just kept shooting fire at me.

 

An idea for a little 'forced' slavery when the Master takes you. Perhaps if you're submissive, but seem resistant to being owned, instead of you agreeing, the Master may ask you to 'try on' some custom items she's just gotten in or make up some story about a slave being sick and needing you to fill in for a day to 'trick' you into servitude. Kind of a "You did this to yourself" Kinda deal.

 

Would be intresting if there were multiple ways to reach serving her. Messing up too badly, challenging or questioning the way she runs things, wronging her (stealing, attacking, ect.) submitting, being 'tricked' perhaps even getting captured else where (bandits or maybe some of the NPC's you plan to add) and then getting acquired by her.

The guard should come back after 24 hours though there are times the timer is cleared before he does. It is the end of the punishment and quest so you can get out yourself, there are lockpicks in the satchel in the cage and the lock is not very difficult.

ha, I have a bug with the lockpick, and that reset the cdxmp01 quest to the default stage 5:

 

if I take the lockpick in the satchel and I go by the door and try to pick the lock, I get the message "you are out of lockpick" and cant pick the lock,

as a side effect that reset the cdxmp01 stage to 5.

 

 

The entire quest and punishment ends once the cage door is opened (either you or the guard). Do you have the armbinder on while trying to pick the lock? I think Min changed the armbinder to remove lockpicks temporarily from your inventory while it is on.

 

 

yes, if I dont try to pick the door, Herran comes to open the cage as expected.

that seems to be stage 220 and then the stage get reseted to 5 and Im left to my own, is that it?

 

That is all. I added him coming to let the player out in case someone can't get out for whatever reason.

 

 

I assumed that they would like letting me out, so I tried to stay.  Combing this mod's cage, rainstorm, Dangerous Nights,  and Deviously Helpless led to a long evening...  The guard never did show up and I waited past 24 hours.

 

 

 

You have been very helpful. I managed to escape before reading this, so I can not report the quest stages, but I will repeat the experience and see where things go wrong.  I almost feel sorry for my toon :)

Are you sure it's only a mage problem?

I have a similar problem. I am immortal  :(

 

Yesterday  I have recognised that I can't die anymore.

My health will be reduced to 0 and thats all.

I've tested a few old saves and I guess it happend between a few delivery quests.

(A few days ago I did nothing more than delivery and redelivery)

 

And I remember about a problem with the delivery quest:

The bandits stopped me at Whiterun. I could kill the two men and the Mage captured me.

The next delivery was to Whiterun again:

The Mage stopped me and told me that the Boss will talk to me, nothing more.

I killed the Mage and behind the next corner the rest of the bandits were waiting for me. But nothing happend too. I hit the boss and they wake up and captured me. 

I can't tell anymore which version was running at this time for sure not 2.4 maybe 2.3 with the missing scripts.

 

I've tried the console commands tim and setessential but it doesen't change my immortal state. I guess I have to take my old save and start again from this point.

I hope you continue to update this mod to smooth out the rough parts. I can echo many of the problem others have had in the past couple of pages. 

 

The master won't remove the belt/collar after the delivery quest. I can add the belt's key to my inventory through console, but I cannot see a way to use it. The collars key remains a mystery. I can't seem to get it via console. 

 

I also tried the punishment for failing to retrieve the package. Harren (the guard-like guy, I believe that's his name) gets hung up after the post bit.

Do you use Defeat or Submit? I have seen that sometimes when Submit kicks in the TGM that I have set does not come off. Using TGM should return you to normal.

Yes, I am using the Submit+Devious Devices Progression Mod. As far as I remember I have turned of the submit mod while testing the delivery. But I can't say it anymore, it happend a few days ago.  :)

 

I will check TGM later at home.
