The only problem I have is that there is a limit on the number of light sources the game will illuminate at one time (around 8 I believe). The lighting was based off of the original lighting in the Inn and uses the Farmhouse lighting template so I will have to find something better to use as a base.

whats with a campfire? you could use it to torture a slave and it gives light maby.

It shouldn't but then I have not had any crashes in it. A number of the items that I have removed will hopefully help with that.

 

 

Allright. Just a heads up, I use the Realistic Lighting Overhaul mod from the nexus.

New screenshots look great. Interior looks more coherent now.

I hope that you didn't forget to fix Master's FaceGen data for new release?

Maid Outfits are gorgeous to look at. I am using Killer Keos Skimpy armors and clothing, but also fine clothes replacer that zzjay and GraceDarkling provided in their download. I haven't checked, but Master should be using Maid Outfit with replacer file. If I could only find out how to replace "fine" shoes and boots with high heels, - like Autumn heels shoes and stockings - then maid outfits would be perfect

Don't strain yourself. For me, Its tolerable, but I just have to ask ya know? 

Is it just possible to add a chandelier with a few light sources on it in the center of the room? With the lighting mod I have, it would go along way, it doesn't just make things dark, it just makes them have accurate lighting for a room. Solid objects block light and create shadows in RLO. So when a light source is behind pillars most of the light is blocked. So, on my end, it just needs more lights in more open spaces.

 

But I think you should put that on a back burner. The mod's functionality, regardless of environmental mods, should come first and I implore you to not add more than you need. As of current, I have no idea how the inside of the new shop is gonna light up, so you may not have to do anything.

 

In all event, if you really wanted to, I guess you could have two versions of the mod where one is the normal lighting and the other is an enhanced. 'Cause if you're intent of adjusting for lighting mods, you should make it an option for those who don't have them.

 

Then again, if you've already scrapped the old lighting, I'm just preachin' to the choir.

I have used both of those outfits before, been a while on the Maid outfits though. The Draconic Bloodline outfit would probably suit the Master a bit more. I like the high heels, they look really nice (I think I have done some screen shots with them in it for Zadil). There are a lot of nice mods with shoes and boots, the only problem I have with a lot of the boots is the bodies they are based on are slightly modified so they don't work with a lot of stuff, same with stockings.

I think the issue is that it uses a standard template and light sources and a number of the lighting mods darken those then they add other custom items to the location. I am copying over the standard lighting items to custom ones so they won't get modified by them.

Though the maid outfits are nice, It may be a good idea to keep the reqirements down. That and you dont want body spesfic stuff unless its optional. ... I guess you could make it optional.

Also, I heard that Zaz is going to get updated. This is true yes?

If so, makes me wonder what is going to change in it. Heard a few new animated gags are being added, maybe some new bonds. ALso heard that's gunna happen this weekend. I'm all kinds of aprehensive (cause its the only framework besides sexlab that hasent been updated in a wile, and its  not in my MM).

Though the maid outfits are nice, It may be a good idea to keep the reqirements down. That and you dont want body spesfic stuff unless its optional. ... I guess you could make it optional.

Any outfits that I add will be optional as tastes differ. I think currently I like the Tera armors as some of the robes have an elegant feel while some armors are attractive yet imposing. There are several that look really good with the harness.

 

I finished the lighting, it looks pretty much the same for me but uses custom lightsources.

 

I have not heard anything about an update to ZAZ but I know he has been working on animations (he did the ones for the Armbinder) so I am looking forward to any new ones that he releases.

If i just visit the shop in my current game and buy some items will this lead to troubles then when the updates comes out?

Or should i not visit the shop at all before the update or do you think the update will be so big that it will likely break the savegame anyways, thus rather recommmending a restart?

 

The suites in the preview pics look very classy. Do you know if there are chairtied animations in the ZaZ animation pack? Imho for the center suite it would be a lovely sight if one slave is permanently chairtied there and the master takes the second chair and offers you the third chair in a scene, like the opening scene in vanilla where you sit down in the smiths house in riverwood when you have escaped helgen.

Here are a few pics of lighting and items:

 

This was closer to the original but was still a bit dark, there was some lighting effects left over on the building itself that was causing a few problems. Armor is the Timerender robe with the DD Harness underneath:

After a bit of adjustment this is where it is now. I need to lighten the color from the torches a bit, still a little too brownish. Outfit is from the R18pn Lingerie set for CBBE along with the DD Harness and Leather Cuffs:

It broke every reference to ZAZ and SexLab I had (items, animations and scripts) so I have been putting those back together today and fiddling with the lighting as I tested things again. I think I have everything fixed but I won't be trying it again.

All items in Devious Devices are backwards compatible so there are no issues there. There should not be any issues, just about everything is new and the old dialogue is still there. If you went through the mini-quest to be able to purchase keys you will have to do the new one as it is completely new (starts the same way though).

 

I have not seen a chairtie animation in ZAZ. There is a list of them in a text file included in the ZAZ animation folder.

try loading it in tes5edit and choosing the 'sort masters' option.  it should update all the required fields and references

Once I figured out what happened I knew what to look for. The pain in the ass one to fix were the animations as the CK makes you select one at a time.

So far i always reordered the masters for your mod, to reflect my load order (and every other mod that does not conform) and no problem so far. how did you try to reorder the master files? (if using TES5Edit it has a seperate function exactly for this task, which will reorder the masters to the current load list, and fix the formIDs of entrys that depend on those masters)

Instead of "Fast and discrete delivery" it should be "Fast and discreet delivery".

 

Discreet means "Respectful of privacy or secrecy".

 

Discrete means "Separate, distinct".

And I used to do so well with spelling and grammar, I guess I am relying on spellchecker too much.

 

 

There have been a few tweaks the last few days. The delivery quest is much harder than in the current version, especially with what I added yesterday.

Do you think you'll have it up sometime this weekend? (I don't mean to sound pushy)

 

I am hoping so. It has been tough to test as there is a lot of dialogue and the quests have become rather complex. The Delivery quest has 2 quests running it in the current version (1 that oversees everything and one for the dialogue and destinations) and there have been 2 more added to it to run the additional parts (thieves and punishment for failing). I am trying something from Integration that I don't think has been used yet as well.

The navmesh in the front of the shop seems to be giving Aelie headaches, the Master and Guard don't want to go to their positions for some reason. The front of the shop sits where 4 cells come together and they can be a pain to get them aligned. If they don't line up correctly an npc won't cross them. I did a few adjustments, hopefully they will work or I will have to move the shop so the front is within a single cell.

 

 

For those of you who have not had the joy of playing with navmeshes, this is the one in the front of the shop. The thick green lines are the cell borders, areas with the slight red fill are the areas where npc's can go. You can also see some of the new things and the idle markers.
