With the issues it is causing I think I will drop it and just use dialogue. Setting the stage on CDXDeliveryJob to 575 should enable the player controls then 580 to remove the armbinder.

That said, the outdoor punishment scene worked 100% for me, the indoor scene worked until the guard wailing on me pushed me through and into the pillar, clipping me inside it, then just sort of froze. Also, there's a whip from the Skyrim Slavery System that leaves whip marks on the target; you may want to consider finding out how that works and tossing it in there, along with the ability to buy the slave collars from that mod if you are dominant enough from the Master. Maybe as an optional patch? Digging the work so far though.

I also think it would set the atmosphere better. I'm not sure about the expansion. I don't have it installed ATM (but I do have it in my NMM). Does it add the items Min talks about as well as integrate them? If it does, then why not, am I right?

I personally don't mind if you add DDExpansion into the mix. I haven't activated it yet, but I'd eventually have to use it if I want to update Live a Deviant Life, so I'll end up using it anyway. I like the idea of removing the slave rags too. I used the esp for it while playing with version 1.6, and I think it's a good look for them. It also has the added benefit of increasing your arousal quite quickly while in the shop, which seems fitting given the nature of Captured Dreams'... services

When I got back to the Master she stopped me with a dialogue before I could interact with her and the she took off my newly acquired gag, but after that she just wanders off leaving me unable to move or do anything and occasionally bumping into me while saying that I have a delivery to make. I'm pretty sure I'm using latest version. So did I mess something up or is it a bug?

I have removed the scene part and added dialogue to handle it. I think I have figured out why the objective was not changing as well, just have to test that.

Regarding the quests, it appears that when i fail the delivery or the recovery quest and get punished the quest bugs. When i failed the recovery quest, after the punishment scenes and sleeping on the cage at night, when i was finally moved back to Master and she left me with several devices on, they never removed the devices. After waiting for about 16 days straight, i reloaded my last save to check if there were any issues with failing the delivery quest as well. It appears that after the whipping punishment scene, when i am moved to the cage in an unknown location, the guard says that if i cannot escape he will be back the following day, but he never comes back and i stay locked in the cage. I waited about 4-5 days to check this one out. I have updated all Devious Devices mods with the most recent releases. I don't know if anyone else found out this issue but i hope my description was helpful enough.

I don't know if anyone else found out this issue but i hope my description was helpful enough. Once you are brought back in from the cage that is it, the items are yours (a bit of a parting gift). Are you using v 2.0 or v 2.1 as I thought I corrected the issue with the cage timer. It should go for 24 hours at which point the guard will come back for you. You should see a message in the corner that he is approaching and your controls locked until you are released. Edit: If you are in the cage in the wilderness and the guard does not show up if you can find out what stage the the quest is in: sqv cdxmp01 If it is 200 then it is where it should be, if it is 5 then it has already reset.

I waited again multiple times, 4 hours each time, and i then received the message that the guard was coming at me, he opened the cage door and he stood still for a few hours. I remain with the "gear" equipped after being released on this quest too, right?

The items that were put on you are not removed, anything remaining on you after any of the punishments are yours to keep (and remove yourself). After the cage door was opened were you moved outside the cage automatically? If so then it worked properly and that was the end. I tested things on my end, waited 12 hours then another 24 to make sure it was working if someone waited more than the 24 hours and he was at the door when the second wait was up.
kreston Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I got a problem with the recover delivery punishment in v2.1.It works nicely until the Master is supposed to walk back inside the shop. She starts walking, but stops next to the guard, just staring at him. And staring, and staring and nothing really happened, for like four minutes (real time). I eventually got bored, and waited an hour (ingame waiting), which moved the Master back into the stop.. The guard stayed out during the first day. (In v2.0 he was always seen walking out of the shop before each scene.) Nighttime worked well, guard took my char to the "room", went back inside.Next morning worked until my char got out of the cage, and the guard said his three lines. After the last "Let's get you..." or something like that my char and the guard both stands still, not moving an inch. (controls frozen)The other punishment scene works fine for me, tested it two times. The guard showed up on time first, and the second time I managed to get out on my own.

It would not require the addon for no clothes for the slaves anymore. the 2.1 version solved the most of my problems, the quests running fine. But i have similar problems like kreston. The Recovery-punishment starts fine, than Master wont go back in. Waiting 1 hour (T) solved this and the whipping continues as intended. With bed-time the things going weird, esspecially the way-finding. Herran walks to the backside of the first cage (between house an cage) and stucks there. Again the "wait 1 hour") solves the problem. After this he ordered my toon to move inside the cage, but she walks back to the punisment-pillories doing a little pirouette, walks back to a place 3 metres away of the cages and stays outside. I cant get back control, waiting doesnt help. and your questions: - they wear these nice devices - so they dont need clothes.. - the DD expansion mean more devices, and thats fine :-) edit: oh, forget it. i just upgradet from DD Integration 2.7.3. to 2.7.4 - and now the scene is runnig fine.
formanfred Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I have the same problems as kreston and mogon, after herran walks around the back of the cage he then walks out of the cage opening the cage then as the cage closes he tells you to enter it but your character just stands frozen behind him as he looks into the cage I am using DD Intergration 2.7.4 , and as far as I can tell all the latest files,just to be sure I shall start a new game from scratch in case there are any stray scripts or old files from previous mods that are still lurking around.By the way Veladarius thank you for this mod it really is great work I love playing it and also the way that it is going

The changes in v 2.1 eliminated the odd pathing and stopping for me but I have also seen while making this that changes to the AI don't always appear immediately. Once they run at least once in the new version I believe they should start working as the quests controlling the quests and punishments are completely reset when finished.

I solve it by typing "epc" in console and interating with Master and her thug, if too far - use player.moveto command. Interacting with them makes them "remember" what they were doing and properly continue scene. On both questions - perfectly fine with me, please go ahead.

Thank you it work fine once I set this two step. I do the test on other game and I've got exactly the same issues, the other punishement working fine. The duration of the outdoor punishement is random ? Cause on time I just add one cycle (night in the cage + whipping bellow wodden support) and the other time I failled, I've got this cycle repeating itself on loop (I stop playing after like 4 days). Another question, the optionnal file for rubber catsuit is it still mandatory or the fact I've got the mod install is enough ?

The outdoor punishment does vary in length depending on what time you quit the job. All the different segments are set to start around a specific time so the first day can go from 2 whippings down to being put straight into the cage. You should only spend 2 nights in the cage and as the punishment continues it advances the stages of the quest. The scenes are used over each time and at points it looks where you are at in the quest to determine what to do next. If it starts looping like that if you could note which of the stages are complete: sqs cdxmp02 The addon I made requires the optional files from the Rubber Catsuit mod as it uses some of the items in it.

Am I missing a step? I am running the latest version of Devious Devices (2.7.4, updated after this mod last was), would that be a problem? If it is the first time doing the quest since updating the changes to the AI and scenes may not have taken effect yet. I noticed that some of the changes I did would not take effect right away. The progression when you get back is the Master will remove the gag first then the Armbinder then continue on with the punishment. Can you post a papyrus log? When you say you've removed the gag removal scene, you mean that master just keeps you gagged, right? It makes sense if she berates you, gives you some more devices then sends you with Haggendass (don't remember his name) to the top of that hill. IMO, that's the best punishment scene... 'cause armbinder. Though, I think it would be cool for there to be a dungeon scene in a basement cell/cage. The player has the harness, armbinder, leather cuffs, and blindfold on them. Maybe it can occur if the player was to trust pass on Master's estate/property, or Master wants to knock the player down a few pegs. Anyway, thanks for putting time into the mod, it's real fun!
