Have problems with 3.7 full archive. Tried to redownload it 3 times, nmm says "can't be added"; 7zip says "can't open as the archive". patch added normally, but I wanted to make clean reinstall of the mod

And... in patch instructions, do you mean "cdxjailwaiting.psc"? I have only this script in source folder, and "cdxjailwaiting.pex" in scripts folder

Since playing the scene, my 1st person camera is broken. I can't turn side to side, and I have an extremely low angle in any dialogs -- my character is short, but not that short! Disabling player controls in the MCM menus gives me the full range of camera motion, but re-enabling locks it up again. What other settings are changed here that I should know about? I don't want to have to reload that pre-quest save yet again, especially now that I'm a few quests down the road.

> Updated Master's dialogue to allow speaking to her while you are a gag

The master is a truly powerful wizard if she can transform the player into a gag.

(I guess you forgot to add 'wearing' into that sentence, which is from your changelog on the download)

Try using a workbench, enchanter, tanning rack, or something like that, most often this fixes camera problems.

On the upgrade instructions do you mean cdxjailwaiting.pex as I can't find a cdxjail

The CDxJail script is in earlier versions but was removed in about v3.4, if you don't have it then you are fine.

Hah that's a pretty interesting 'undocumented feature'! Your companions might just decide The Master is a better leader than the player, and stay with her forever as one of her slaves. ^_^

I managed to get Elisif to change her mind, even without the update or the console command... I guess given enough time, she does eventually come around either way, and things proceeded from there. I then ran into a problem with Ulfric in the 4th quest, probably because I hadn't done any of the main quest.. when I rescued the slave and was sent to confront Ulfric, the quest marker lead me right to him, but he wasn't there! I guess this is what people were talking about before, with needing to kick off the main quest to make this work properly.

I was able to get around it by getting Ulfric's RefID and typing 'enable', which caused him to fade into existence, at which point he had all the proper quest dialogue. I guess everything is fine now, save that Master didn't offer her to me... but maybe that happens a bit later or something, I dunno.

Did you try going to Ulfic's bedroom? Sometimes he sleeps. Maybe the quest marker is keyed on the location, and not the actor.

Since Ashra XIII skipped the main quest they are likely using LAL. Until you go to Helgen and Alduin leaves Ulfric is disabled and is why the quest marker points to a blank spot. The new version (which is now up) has an alternate in case that happens.

Yes, this is correct! I use Live Another Life, and never went to Helgen because I don't really consider my character to be the Dragonborn during this play-through. As such, it turns out Ulfric never gets enabled so the quest marker lead to a blank spot; I tried using console commands to port to him or have him port to me, but it would just move me to the arrow or the arrow to me until I finally just typed 'enable', which caused him to fade in.

The funny thing is that I had also gotten the radiant quest to join the Stormcloaks, which also lead me to that same blank space, so LAL breaks that as well if you don't go to Helgen (unless you just start as a Stormcloak).

3.7 full, Brunwulf version of the quest starts, yay!

Brunwulf does not have an objective pointer thing.

I talked to Brunwulf when he was not on his throne, and when he went to fetch the girl he didn't come back.

I talked to Brunwulf when he was on the throne, he fetches the girl but once he is back the conversation does not proceed.

I've had Fuz Ro Doh installed for a long time, but only now noticed the SKSE files were missing. This would explain why so many unvoiced lines flash by faster than I can read them. After adding those, the Task for Master scene ran without any more interruptions.

This seems kind of out-of-character for Siddgeir, as laizez-faire as he is, and as much as he takes his position and privilege for granted. But I haven't picked a side in the war, so maybe there's something yet to be revealed in their personalities. It seems to me this scene would have been more plausible between Laila and Anuriel, since Anuriel is obviously keeping the wool over Lalia's eyes and the reins of power wrapped around her fingers. But it would only take one wake-up call for Lalia to lock down the court and knock Anuriel to her knees. It's hard to believe Laila could be that obtuse, so may not be as in the dark as she acts and could just be giving Anuriel enough rope to hang herself with.

Siddgeir is rather corrupt seeing as he makes deals with bandits within his hold. Nenya has no loyalty to him, just his position and I could see her taking advantage of his lax attitude to make some coin for herself. I am sure Siddgeir would not like that, mostly because he was not getting a cut of it.

From the players point of view it doesn't matter, but she is pretty devoted to the job, she may not be taking the coin for herself so much as a "keep the Hold running despite the idiot child running it" fund, Siddgeir just may assume everyone is as self centered as he is and not comprehend the difference.

Sorry for asking, but it seems that i have a little trouble to understand the red passage in the load order description.

Load order:
Captured Dreams can be placed most anywhere in the load order with a few exceptions:
- Scenic Carriages should be placed after Captured Dreams
- Any addon files must be placed after Captured Dreams
- Any mods that have items used by the addon files must be placed before the addon

What exactly does that mean --> Scenic Carriages ?

My mother language is german, which means a translator program translated "Scenic" with "landschaftlich" and the word "Carriages" with "Kutschen/Wagen" Both together results in

"Aussichtswagen", which makes no sense in german, also "landschaftliche Kutschen" are totally stupid, i know. So how should i interprete/understand this phrase "Scenic Carriages" ?

Sorry for bothering you with such a question. ;)

I think I finally found what was killing the second half of the scene. Give this a try and see if it fixes it (should add the quest marker to Brunwulf as well).

There is a mod called 'Scenic Carriages', basically when you take a carriage to another city you see the entire ride there (from what I can tell this was content that was removed from the original game). If you don't have the mod then you don't need to worry about it.

Apparently something decided it did not like my files, seeing as I was having some issues with my internet connection I will go ahead and blame them. The files are up now (I double checked this time).

So some where out on the internet there is a Hello Kitty with an Ebonite Harness that is a slave of the Master? Talk about a program going rouge.

It fixes both those problems, but reveals a new one.  Once the conversations are over she doesn't follow me, walking back to her just gets the "giving her the ring" conversation again.

It sounds like the scene did not properly end, go back to her and disable your controls via the MCM menu (on the Reset page, right side just scroll down). The dialogue there can only be played by the scene as it is not top level (available as a dialogue without being linked to), disabling the controls and going through it again may get it to end properly.

3.7 bug: Erani brigands don't spawn

Turned in the third quest, took the fourth quest, went to erani but the thugs never showed up, and her dialog is nomal, not quest.

This is from a 3.6 save, 3.7 patch

SQS says 0,10,100 are set, sqv says quest is running, yes, current stage 100.

All aliases are filled except for windhelm steward, thugxdead all three are false, but the thug pointers have values

Taking the values from sqv, if I use player.moveto it just puts me in the trees behind the tower, but nothing here.

Is there a way to set quest variables through console? The syntax "set quest.variable to value" doens't seem to work

Sorry for the large log, this takes me from the house before turning in quest three to quiting after trying moveto

I'm having an issue where the master wont talk to me. Went into the shop for the first time with 3.7 and Everything started off as normal. The other servants said I must speak with the master before speaking with them.

Once I try to speak with the master however she just has auto-responses like "yes?" and "what is it?" with no dialogue window actually starting. Everyone else in the shop Starts working as if I had talked to the master but she never does.

That just happened to me for the first time and I have figured out what did it and how to fix it (literally just minutes ago).

This esp will fix the problem with the conditions on the opening dialogue: Captured Dreams.esp

Then either go to a save before you entered the shop or do this:

resetquest cdxframework

setstage cdxframework 1

For whatever reason not being able to finish the dialogue is blocking the rest of it even though the conditions are being met for the normal greetings. The conditions on the 2nd line of the opening dialogue has one of them looking for locked items and the other just looks for a collar or belt, if you are wearing locked items but not a belt or collar it leaves it with no place to go (even though that dialogue does nothing).

Not sure how that works, but it does.  After finishing the conversation I disabled player controls and she moved to me properly, after re-enabling player controls she followed me to the shop and everything else went fine.

Edited to add:

Papyrus log doesn't seem to show anything error like during the conversation, no idea what is getting in the way.
