I ran into a small problem, and I think it may have been this mod which caused it, but you would know: Post-Thalmor Embassy scene, I've noticed that Stormcloak soldiers are attacking me! I have Immersive Patrols, which causes this to happen when the player is a member of the opposite faction (say, if I had joined the Imperials in the Civil War), only I've not started the Civil War quest at all. So the question is: Does CD add the player to the Thalmor faction for the Embassy quest? Because that would cause Stormcloaks to hate me if it wasn't removed after. I don't mind all that much... I kinda figure maybe the Stormcloaks got wind of me being there or that Elenwen 'maked' me in some way so they think I'm on her side now. It's amusing. It does but it should set it back to whatever faction rank you had with them once it is over.
Mart0206 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Hello Veladarius, i wanted to upgrade the mod and before i do so, i had to make sure, i have no quest running for the master. So i loaded my last session, finish the quest "Return a delivery" and while looking for the delivery i got attacked by 3 bandits. After killing them, a "new" quest startet to my suprise, saying to tolk to the slave after defeating the thugs. Questmarker is set to Morthal, Falions House. Ok...so i went there, but there is nobody. So what can i do? I don´t want to upgrade before finishing all the quests, i do not want to break the mod.

Had the mr tavish quest and did disable pc moving in mcm then the weird thing happen and instead she go by display things she went outside and walked the road far far from the shop,i let her to see where is she going(while i had a smoke lol) and she found herran on some hill near an open cage,pc did not even enter he closed it and i got the finished punishment quest.Then i did just jump back to the shop disable my char again and all went well with tavish and that quest. Whatever that was about i sure did have a good laugh.

You need to go back to a save before that quest started and update, there is an issue with the trigger box near Refugee's Rest (the tower there) as it should have been disabled but was not, it started the 4th Expansion quest about 2 stages into it and parts are not set up yet. There should not be any deliveries over near there so if you want to finish her quest first you can.

Yes, currently you can do quests if your rank with the Master is high enough, since I have dialogue and such to handle the player wearing standard items I will likely lower the requirement. I have a problem with last quest (with Erani)... . After I save Erani the quest line send me to Ulfric but I ended civil war for imperians and I have Brunwulf Free-Winter as yarl and I can't to finish quest. The quest was changed in a recent version to use whoever the Jarl to is set in the Windhelm Dialogue quest. You can set the stage to 140 on CDxExpQuest04 to get past it.

Did not reset anything because as soon did come close to him and that cage the quest was done or that's what it did say. The cage is where the player can be put at the end of one of the punishments, if you don't escape he comes and lets you out in a day. It should be ok from there since that was the end of the punishment.
UrbanSniper Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Well, after 300 hours or so of messing around, I finally went and beat the main campaign of Skyrim, somehow avoiding the temptation to fool around with all these devious devices...but I did notice a potential issue. My character had completed the expansion quests for Captured Dreams a while before doing the Diplomatic Immunity storyline mission. I didn't expect Elenwen to recognize my character given the central storyline status of the mission, even though they got quite intimate, but I think there may have still been a friendly faction flag in effect when it came time to start sneaking about. I got no reaction from the guards walking around, and all of them in the torture room were indifferent to my presence until I pissed one off by pickpocketing a key from him; the others could have cared less, though. Guess it's a perk of being Elenwen's special pet for a few days, hehe.

big tim Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Wondering that the guards used to help fight the bandits when attacked making a delivery but don't help anymore. Was this by design or an unforeseen change? One other thing is it seems Master, Herran, the assistants and a patrol guard seem to be by the front door inside a lot, creates some confusion at times. Install this script then start from a point before the 4th quest starts and tell me if it sets the proper jarl. CDxEQ04.zip sqv cdxExpQuest04 look for REF Current Jarl and who it says is there. Edit: Nevermind, I found the issue, it is with the dialogue and a global variable I use to tell who is in charge.

Any plans to change how people around the growing compound feel about the player character, as in earning their respect and such?

Yes, I had little time to add dialogue, there will be much more in the next major release.

And so when I finally got the time to do the thalmor quest, which I had NO problems with at all and where transported back to the shop I crashed. Reloaded and this time there was a dragon there of course and I crashed again. Loaded an earlier save and disabled random dragons in console and did the rest of the thalmor quest and got transported. Everything went fine until it was time to enter the shop.. I crash and crash again, seemingly for no reason. I run SnakeTail on my second screen and monitor the log live and can't see anything other than [Zad]: RepopulateNpcs() often being the last line it gives me. (I have noticed several errors after I started to use SnakeTail and fixed them, useful tool I must say) I had the same issues around Windhelm when doing a recovery quest and when I neared the site it CTD'd on me. I got around it by running Convenient Horses script lag test for some reason. (or just luck) My usual crash free way of getting into the shop have been sneaking in at night and wait for morning. So something is acting up and now keeping me from progressing. I have tried slotting 0 npcs in DDi to no avail. I'll post my logs 'n stuff if you care to have a look. (I'm aware of the repeating error, that's just paradise halls)

Papyrus.0.logreport.html (I'm aware of the repeating error, that's just paradise halls) I don't see anything in the log that should cause the crashes, it does not look like it is heavily loaded in the log. The only thing I can think of is that the number of npc's with devices is stressing papyrus as the devices are being equipped. It should have triggered by now, each time you talk to her your chances should increase by 10 and the target is only 60. setstage cdxExpQuest03 80 will advance it, just make sure you are near her when you do it.
Veladarius Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 The new version is up, it should fix the issues with the jarl on quest 4 and a few other things as well. I did check the Thalmor faction issue and it should be storing and later resetting your rank, also, the increased chance of succeeding on quest 3 should work as well. The Tavish dialogue should properly set the new date as well, it has worked properly for me a few times now.

Wandering_Mania Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I was just wondering (might be a bit late as it is or was in v3.6) if any one was having a CTD every time the 2 guards near the cell in the cellar of the Thalmor embassy try to trigger the first "scene" on day 2.
