Veladarius Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 It is 7pm here (US Eastern Time Zone). So far the issues Aelie has found I have fixed (along with one that I found), most of these have been on the new delivery quest, the free trial quest and some of the rebuilt quests and scripts. The expansion and it's quests I am sure that they work right (I have been through them enough times) and they are fairly self contained where all the others interact with each other.
xxxkamekazixxx Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 @vel.... I love this mod it.... I want it just as bad as everyone else I don't want it rushed..... I created a new character the best one yet and I cant wait to try the new expansion with her.
Veladarius Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 Aelie and I have not stopped working yet.
Haborym Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Oh god, the hype.... Â Anyway, it is really good that you are still taking the time to release a proper, fixed, and stable version, and i don't really mind the wait, even if i still check the tread every hour or so...
Veladarius Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 We are actually picking up some bugs that have been there for some time as well but have been missed. As Aelie is looking for bugs I am looking for anything that needs adjusted.
Rdm Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Thanks for taking your time, it will be appreciated, maybe not as of now but later on it will be. U know, ironing out the bugs and such, thanks for the great mod Vel!
Aelie Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 its probably not going to be ready tonight (unless vel decides to cut off fixing bugs and just release), so you can all quit refreshing it and go do something more productive
Draco355 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 It's too bad you can't live stream both of your efforts with this. Â My server could facilitate something for it (since Twitch wouldn't allow it) with plenty of viewers but I doubt you guys would want to bother doing that anyway. ;P Â Longer wait for release means less frustration for us later on I suppose! Better than dealing with 10 extra patches for stuck quests and the likes.
NarcosisElemental Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I am doing something productive..watching Walking Dead.. Â
sarahlost36 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Playing FFXIV instead of skyrim... oh well
Aelie Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Â My server could facilitate something for it (since Twitch wouldn't allow it) with plenty of viewers but I doubt you guys would want to bother doing that anyway. ;P im sure crashing every 3-4 minutes and replaying stuff 10 times trying each option would be enthralling

As long as it's moving.

As long as it's moving.   ^^^  Well, I'm more into the development side of things. It's less about the bug testing since.. yes... it wouldn't be very enthralling to watch that, but the fixing of these problems would be.

Coopervane Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014  im sure crashing every 3-4 minutes and replaying stuff 10 times trying each option would be enthralling  Not to mention all the PC-reboots involved, since Skyrim hates launching to many times durring the same session. That kinda makes it hard to stream anything.  It's the YouTube generation... they...errrm...watch everything. As long as it's moving.  I somewhat suspect that even the Youtube generation coulden't be entertained by Skyrim modding. I cannot imagine anything more dull, i really can't
BlitAceRush Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Guess it really depends, I'd enjoy the insight because I hope to learn to do it myself some day, when RL gives me some time. Though for generaly vewing, not likely.Â
Laura Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 It would be entertaining to people who want to learn. Sadly, not alot of people want to.
mybrainhurts Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 For everyone refreshing the page every 5 minutes: haven't you heard of "tease and denial"? Veladarius is topping y'all so bad!
sarahlost36 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 are you sure its this mod and not bad saves, or a dorked up skyrim? it seems odd that Val can play through, and you crash every three to 4 mins....
Aelie Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 just because it works when you do everything as expected doesnt mean it works every time. most of the stuff i find is stuff like "if you have the belt on already it breaks", "if you tab out here, the quest blocks"
Veladarius Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 It may have been the area around the shop, once the expansion starts there are a lot of people wandering around the shop with items. If you have the number of slotted npc's set high it can be taxing.
sarahlost36 Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Like trying to make 10 or more peoples plugs activate? based on that being turned off by default, the script load to support lots of activations sounds like it could be taxing...
Veladarius Posted October 13, 2014 Author Posted October 13, 2014 There are about the same number of people outside as there are in the shop, I tried to not overload the area all at once.
