On that note, does anyone know a good, simple, not over the top house mod with a prinson/dungeon area in it? So far I kow of: the bathhouse (way to big for my taste), a farmhouse from this site, the prison house of paradise halls... Any ideas?

Dread Prison: I ran through it once when it came out, it was big but not script heavy.

Personally I rather wait for CD Shop to start carrying oli3d-ZaZ furniture.  Does anyone have inside scoop regarding the progress there?

how do you make a house i have the hearthfire dlc but i didnt get any event saying of houses to build no letters or any thing

Once you are made Thane of either Falkreath, Markarth or Dawnstar you will be given the opportunity to buy land in that hold.

..or once you are 10th level you will get the quest in Falkreath. It will cost around 10k gold to fully deck it out. I think it takes 5k just to buy the empty plot of land.

Yeah, it isn't that you need to be thane, you just have to do the first quest the Jarl gives you.

Yep, but if you become the Thane of Falkreath you get Rayya as your Housecarl... which is nice.  Especially if you have Skyrim Beautiful Followers mod.

Bah ... HF Houses are only worth it if you have new furniture... harr;) Other than that they are only fun once and they take too much time to build. I also do not use a lot of house mods... only Elis houses tickle my fancy sometimes... but they are so neatly packed and rarely come with a basement,... no room for oli3d-zaz furniture, sadly.

I use a bat file I made to give me all the materials I need to build them, no way in hell am I wandering all over the place for that stuff.

Current target is Friday evening, we are currently trying to figure out why one of the quests won't work for one of our testers. I think the issue came from one of the updates when the quest was not complete or not functioning at that point and it did not update in their game once it was fixed.

in the update is there going to be something like qayl mod where the player is bound hopefully paraded across a town showing the masters stuff she can sell to attract more buyers ;)

@Veladarius - Has the tester got a clean save to try from (where there hasn't ever been an installation of CD to compare to)? Script fragments can get baked in on Skyrim save games. Is it possible the script from the older version got baked in and isn't taking on the new script. I once found when testing Maids II: Deception; that between episodes (versions) going between stable and unstable beta with more (or changed) scripts. The newer beta wouldn't start the new version's quests, you may need to add a fail safe script to enable the first new quest(s) to start when transitioning between versions (be they stable or unstable - beta).

I wonder, why test on an old save? Playing CD with a lvl 60 plus char is no fun anyway. Recommend starting a new game. New profile, same load as before... done in no time. The only hassle is reconfiguring MCM. But that is done in 10 min.

I think most, if not all of the testers also make mods, so lets give them credit for knowing what they are doing.

Maybe there are even attempts to break it just to find potential bugs, trying with different mods.

This is something worth waiting for.

I am not sure, they tried a save from before the quest started and still had issues so I asked them to try with a new game. The biggest issue I have found is from AI packages, changes to them rarely take effect in an ongoing game. I started numerous games during testing because of that, several of which were during that quest. I have been able to run through the quest multiple times now without an issue, even with an older save.

The biggest reason to test on an old save is for people who are updating to make sure things still work. Since AI packages and script properties don't update changing one could cause issues, I will make new ones instead of changing old ones.

Aelie tried breaking things and usually does on the first run through. It isn't just about finding problems though, they give me a number of suggestions for tweaks, changes or additions that I had not thought of.

That sounds like Skyrim being Skyrim. Scripts getting baked into saves. I had this problem when I was testing a different mod, the only solutions I found were either starting a new save, using a save cleaner to delete the scripts, and then stopping/resetting/restarting the quests again, or using a failsafe script to start the new quest.

Sounds like you have a very through system going for testing. I will be hopefully updating away from the area or starting from a save with vanilla Skyrim done. Yard work til dark Thursday, dinner with my step-dad Friday, yard work this weekend while it is still nice in the upper Midwest, I can watch old Godzilla movies at night, Skyrim is on hold until you feel it is ready.

Thanks to you and your testers.

I Have suggestions, hope in the next release, the mods will support some other mods, like Devious Regulation, Aradia Devious Expansion, or LAL Alternate Start, it will be interesting, because belt getting stuck when running "In debt to Master" when using another belt. Thanks  :P

I have already set up the In Debt to the Master quest to recognize when you have a quest belt from another mod in the new version. It will note that you have their belt and the next time you come in without it (or another quest related belt) she will put hers on you if you have not paid off your debt.

One of the reasons testing has been rather extensive is not only the new content had to be tested but pretty much every quest has been updated in some way (some much more than others).

I am giving my testers until tomorrow evening to make any final checks and go over the quest issue (I think it is caused by an earlier version of the quest). I think what I have now is pretty solid, probably more solid than the current version out.

Vel, I'm starting a new game later today.  Should I keep the old Captured Dreams mod out of my load order and add the new update when it's available rather than writing over?

Glad to hear it. A project of this complexity is never going to be perfect, and that's before you consider the other framework mods it requires... and of course skyrim itself. Sometimes people will get too caught up trying to make something perfect, and end up never releasing, or releasing long after all interest has died off.

Quite looking forward to the new release.
