If you want to do it manually, search for cdxrank and that will bring up all the global variables that control it, they run from 1 (low) to 20 (high). Values under 4 will trigger the punishments for not being liked. If you lower it on the smiths or assistants and speak to them first then they will do the punishment, otherwise the Master handles it.

 

and how exactly do i do this manually?

 

Open the console with the '~' key located on your keyboard next to the 1 character on the left side, you can close the console with the same key.

 

Once in the console type "help CDxRank 3" to see the name of the rank variables, the one you want is CDxRankMaster.

 

You can change any variable in skyrim with the command "set <class.variable> to <value>" syntax. In this specific case the command should be  "set CDxRankMaster to 1" but I might have misspelled something. You can check to see if it worked, since there should be no confirmation in the console window, by reading the book inside the shop which will tell you your master rank.

 

If you lower it on the smiths or assistants and speak to them first then they will do the punishment, otherwise the Master handles it.

 

Oh cool, did you add that recently? I thought you said that those variables didn't do anything yet.

 

Are there ways planed in the expansion to get a bad rank with those members?

 

 

The mod only lowers the other npc's as a group, usually the Master will hit the lower value first and getting the others down to a 4 would require multiple punishments from her. I am planning on adding dialogue to the others that can lower or raise it depending on the responses and there will likely be small quests for them later as well.

The items are set up the same as the standard plugs, when I built them I duplicated the standard ones and made changes from there. Do you get a message of some sort or does something else happen?

 

 

It seems the problem started after I visited the CD shop to buy the ebonite harness and the helper plugs.

The living Parasite harness also stopped equiping and so did the ebonite ones along with the CD plugs.

As I loaded a save before I entered the CD shop, I noticed I had a mage helper plug ~ it equiped properly.

 

I had recently installed the 2.8 CD release, so some problem with the installation ??

Also, I avoid visiting the shop cuz of the imposed "assist a customer" quest, which I reset as soon as I come out of the shop ~ could that be the problem ?

There is likely something broken that is occupying a slot if it is keeping other items from equipping as well. If you can, unequip everything and use showinventory on your character and look for items that show as 'worn' but have no name. There should be the device hider (ends in 40F0C) but anything else is likely the broken item. You should be able to remove the unnamed item with the console.

Love this mod! Awesome work, and just keeps getting better! 

 

Just curious, does the confiscation/equipping of carried items not trigger if my "relationship" with the master is too high? Haven't had that happen since 2.76 iirc. Despite being loaded with items and completely submissive.

I'm sure this has been answered, but this is one large topic. I just got Masters quest to be at the shop on day X to help a customer. I'm there. Customer is there...Master has the quest icon over her, but she wont do anything about the active quest....Any helpful suggestions?

Absolutely astonishing mod! I really like it and hope you keep working on it.

 

If I may make two little suggestions (for what they're worth):

 

  1. It wouldn't hurt to have more content for dom characters. Like the quest "assist a cutomer". It could be made so that as a dom, I get to dress up some other slave to show the products. Or maybe sometimes the Master allows me to punish (whip) a slave that misbehaved. Stuff like that. The sub stuff is cool, don't get me wrong. But it would be even cooler if there was a bit more content on the other side of that disposition score.
     
  2. I would really like to see this mod make use of the Shiny Rubber Catsuits mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41534/). It's a perfect fit, I think. Imagine being trapped in a hot rubber catsuit, forced to wear ballet boots (with tripping) and not being able to get that sweaty gasmask off because the neck collar blocks it... or doing this to someone else... *sigh*

Go near one of the assistant slaves in the shop (Tessa or Nissa...one of them), and she will say "Master wants to talk to you", then you can talk to Master.

The Master doesn't equip the armbinder or gags even though they are checked on in the MCM menu.

 Wondering if there is any dialog changes for NPC's in general to recognize you as a slave when wearing the devices?

 Glad to hear things are going well. Looking forward to the new release with patience.

There may be an issue with the quest. I am not sure why but I have noticed some things that I had done (some lighting changes and other things) reverted to what they were in an earlier version. One example is the lighting, I had an issue with the ambient light color on the interiors that was fixed for the release that is out now but in the next beta version they had reverted back to the broken version. I make backups at certain points but have not used them during that time period.

 

 

Just confirmed, the properties for the global variables that control it are gone. It worked for me in testing so I am not sure what happened.

Possibly, it depends on how quickly the quest I am working on goes, it is a rather lengthy scene and I am about half finished at this point. There are a few other things I would need to fix along with the confiscation quest but most are rather easy.

No one says anything special to me and no other quest for her is active.

 

 

 

If you are not getting any of the usual dialogue you may have to do a clean save with it uninstalled. Some users have reported issues similar to what you are having, apparently the change in the dialogue can cause it to not appear at all.

I bought the Bronze protector belt a while back, and just recently managed to get the materials needed to craft the amulet. However, wearing the amulet does nothing but a swirling magic effect and gets auto unequipped each time I try to wear it.

 

"Protector Amulet was unequipped"

 

If I try to wear it multiple times in a row, it breaks and replaces itself with a cracked amulet, giving the dialog:

 

"As the Amulet was put on to unlock the Protector Belt and/or Bra it makes a pop and sizzle noise. It seems that it has broken and the items have not unlocked."

 

 

Did I do something wrong, any ideas on how to fix it?

Something has probably bugged the bra if it is not being removed, everything else is intended. When the amulet is used, does the inventory item show that it is unequipped? If so try these things:

1- reequip the bra and see if the repair function in Integration will fix it, you can try removing it again after that.

if that does not work

2- remove any locked items you can, open the console and use showinventory on yourself. Look for items that are 'worn' with no name and the ID starts with the same number as the other Captured Dreams items do (is the load position of the mod). Remove those with the console.

I have gone through the scripts and script properties and all are correct and point to the correct items, not sure why it would not work.

What could stop Helper/Devil plugs working on one specific follower? I have Aranea and Serana, both casters, both with Mage Helpers. Serana gets affected by the Helper plug when casting, and also seems to be getting the Devious Device events (random fondling and such, but I'm not getting any NPC messages for it), but Aranea's don't seem to work. I've tried stripping her inventory (even console checking to see if she has any "ghost" items), giving her "new" plugs, doing the recycleactor command on her, even killing her and spawning a new actor. The Electro-Stim and Edge effects are getting applied to her when the plugs get equipped, but they don't seem to be firing, and they disappear during a cell change.

 

This is probably a minor thing, considering it's a follower issue, but it's been bugging me for several hours now. She was getting the plug effects fine yesterday, and as far as I can tell nothing has changed. Is there something I'm missing that could "reset" her?

Make sure the setting for the number of slotted npc's in Integration is set high enough to handle everyone around you or items won't work on some npc's. If it works on one and not another that is likely the problem.

I currently have a new game running (no changes in mod setup). I failed my first delivery. When my character gets tied up, Master says: "You may begin!". Then the messages "Prepare Herran" and "Start whipping" appear on the screen. Then another "Prepare Herran". Then Herran just draws the whip, sheaths it, draws it again - and then nothing happens. The scene appears to be locked. My character keeps danglings forever, Master and Herran just standing there.

 

During my last play, I had a similar problem during my second customer assist quest. The mod stripped me of all devices and then, when the show is supposed to start, nothing happened. Travish, Master and my character all just stood there and looked at each other (my controls were frozen). I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a random fluke so I started a new, clean game and wanted to try it again. Instead, the above happened.

 

While it happened with different scenes, the problem seems to be the same: scenes get stuck.

 

In addition to this bug report, I would like to suggest some form of debug escape from situations like these. Ideally a key that, when pressed, automatically advances the scene to the next stage (so we may keep watching). Or at least a key that terminates the scene gracefully and completes any related quests.

 

EDIT: In case this might help: I checked via console and the quest "cdxmp01" seems to be stuck in stage 30. However, using "setstage cdxmp01 40" to manually advance the quest does not seem to do anything. Setting it to stage 50 completes the quest and gives me some devices (probably for the cage) but my character does not get released from the cains and keeps dangling. Anything else I can try?

Try this: When the scene starts do not move the camera until the whipping has started. For some reason it can keep the whipping from starting, I have no idea why it does it. Some people had the issue starting some time ago but it only started happening for me recently but not on all the scenes (which is odd since the AI package used is set up identically). I have tried a few things but have not had any luck in stopping it or figuring out exactly why it does it.

Hey, thanks! That worked!

 

A pity that the camera aligns right behind my character when she move to the post. Makes it difficult to enjoy the scene because she half-transparent and blocking the view (there was a reason why I always rotated that camera).

 

Is there perhaps a way to work around that? Maybe you could fix the camera at a good angle? Or trigger the vanity cam during the whipping? Anyhow, nice to be able to continue with the mod.

 

 

And please don't forget the rubber suit integration I mentioned earlier (random events, no removal when wearing collars, etc). I wish I could help you but this whole Papyrus/CreationKit stuff is a bit above me atm. All I could do is writing assistance (quest and dialogue drafts and such). And it does not look like you need help there.
