5- Due to the number of mods that change Armor, Weapons, Combat AI and other difficulties I have to shoot for somewhere in the middle. I intend for you to lose if you rush in but if you use some tactics you can get by them.

 

 

This is a tricky one I know as you can't take everything into account, but the ball gag would be an interesting addition to balance things and certainly in keeping as I doubt Master would want the pc wasting time speaking to other NPC's

 

I'll try it manually later, but I suspect the pc lack of dialogue may break things

 

 

 

I can usually beat them about 1/3 of the time, usually if I can keep them separated. The 2 bandits with the boss are set to be aggressive as soon as the dialogue starts but the game does not make them aggressive until the dialogue stops. I will play around with the AI but it is rather limiting, there may be something I can do with the other 2 bandits though.

 

 

I fitted the ball gag and ran a delivery to Solitude and there was no problem with the dialogue with the Boss as it carries on as if the gag wasn't in place.

 

It makes for one hell of a fight as you can't use potions but it's still doable with care and tactics :D

 

If this was incorporated I'd suggest that the customer has a release key as any player using RND are going to run into problems not being able to eat

 

I'll certainly be doing this manually in future and spawn a key before handing in the mission. Just to clarify, the point of this isn't to lose the mission, it's to make the outcome uncertain

While there's no uniform with permission to use - maybe use custom ebonite harness, which prevents wearing armor? Add lockable boots and maybe some hand wear - and let's see one sweating themselves to win against bandits :)

 

Would be wise to add "outfit difficulty" option into MCM menu.

Not sure if this is intended or not, but after the delivery mission is handed in successfully and the devices removed, the plugs are left in place so they can then be sold

Not intended, not sure if it is a bit of script lag or what.

I am going through all the removal scripts to clean them up a bit and try to speed them up a little as well. I had switched from using individual if statements to check for what device is equipped to using the remove by keyword command but I think it has some issues at times. Also, originally I didn't have it check to see if you had a device type equipped at all, so I am checking for that first, then if there is a device looking for specific devices (using if, else if instead of multiple if statements) and then going to the remove generic if it gets no match.

.... a corrupted script from skyrim bound caused captured dreams to start an hurricane at gamestart. everything wheeled around. i never had such an amazing graphic bug. after overwriting skyrim bound with it`s 7z everything went alright.

this shows how sensible modding is for users (and of course even more for modders).

 

 

ps. it is impossible for my german Keyboard to write it s together, this always turns to ist .

I think I have a bug with the latest version. I didn't arrive the first to see Mr. Tavish. I was late (8th) got punished put in cellar. I got restraints and 10.000 "fine". Then I got "normal" dialogue option and can do the delivery and retrieve quests. But when I go upstairs and back to cellar (where Master is) 10.000 fine is added. I even got it 3 or 4 times. The "get fine" dialogue event always starts again. Any hints oder any advice on this one?

No, I have seen it myself and is one of the reasons I am going through scripts, I may have to check the dialogue as well to make sure it is setting the correct stage.

 

I am also working on cleaning up the mod using TES5Edit and have removed a number of items that were copied but not changed. I think they were things that I had looked at at some point.

It is an issue with the ending of the scene there, I am working on a fix currently along with some script changes.

I am really loving the heck out of this mod. I admit that I dismissed it at first when I got into Devious Devices, as I didn't really want a fetish shop in one of my towns looking all out of place, plus I thought it would unbalance the difficulty of the devices by just letting me buy keys to get out of them. How wrong I was!

 

With the current version, I'm having so much fun, and I've only just started deliveries and recoveries for Master... haven't gotten any other jobs and don't really know how those get started, but I sorta figure they'll come along if I keep working. Essentially I created the concept of my character completely around this mod; I used the 'left for dead' beginning from 'Alternative Start' and decided my character was a courier by trade, stranded in Skyrim and unsure what to do until she got a job offer from Captured Dreams! She did her first delivery only to lose it to robbers, and in my head I kinda picture that Master set those robbers after her just to cause her to fail, be punished and locked into devices, then indebted to Master and forced to do more work. ^_^

 

Only weird issue I've had is, after losing the delivery, returning and getting punished, I then escaped the cage and went back to Master (just as she planned of course!). Asked her to remove the devices she had put on me and went into debt, so of course I was now forced to wear her 'special' belt. I then took a recovery job in order to start paying off my debt, at which point I think she put another belt on me. I didn't notice it right away, but eventually, while headed to the package, I saw in my inventory that my char was wearing two separate belts (both CD models) and could remove neither. I tried removing one in with console commands, but that didn't work and made my game get all choppy until I completely shut it down and started it back up again.

 

I was able to resolve the issue by complaining to Master about my belt, prompting her to put the more dastardly version on. In doing so, she removed both of my previous belts, so all is well again (except the part about being stuck with these tormentor plugs hehe!).

 

Really, really enjoying this mod, and I can't wait for even more stuff involving Master and the others. Is there stuff involving the orc smiths? I remember seeing them in a previous version, but now I can't even remember where they are.

I think the issue with the double belts was with the scripts to remove the first one, I am testing revamped scripts now. There is a basic quest with the orc smiths if you use all 4 times to remove items you need to do an errand for them to remove items again.

I'm going to ask even though the answer is probably back somewhere in the posts;  my PC just made her first delivery and because of the many RP and other mechanisms it took her several days to get to markarth and back, which of course was to long for "Master".  The problem was the punishment, well not the punishment but the time, over 27 hours and she was still left hanging.  I had to reload twice before she died of thirst, once for each 'duration' option.   Is this intended or do I have a problem?

It should be over fairly quickly, only the punishment for the Delivery Recovery is long. Make sure you have Fus Ro D'oh installed as the punishments will not work correctly without it.

It may be the scripts that remove items is having issues. I have seen it take some time to remove items (close to a minute) but my game runs things pretty quickly. I am in the process of editing them so they should run faster now, I hope to have a new version out later today.

 

The only other thing I can think of is to make sure you have Integration v 2.8 installed.

If you use the manual Free Camera to view you PC, none of the scenes will progress. I don't know if thats your problem, just thought I'd throw that in

Thanks for the support but I have Integration 2.8 and to many problems in the past with the free camera, so I never have used it.  I'll try again after the new release.

 

BTW, because of the great work you are doing I re-installed captured dreams, used it a long time ago and didn't see it being useful ... you've changed that.  Grats on such a wonderful mod.  Also, whomever designed the new collar and belt should receive the "EXCELLENCE" award.

Thanks for the support but I have Integration 2.8 and to many problems in the past with the free camera, so I never have used it.  I'll try again after the new release.

Hopefully the adjusted scripts will help things for you, I am testing them now.

 

Originally I made this as a place to sell items found using For the Masses but it has been growing as I have learned to do things. Naaitsab did all the new textures for me and I am pleased with the way they turned out.

The new update is up, it is a patch and needs installed over 2.70 and can be installed over other patches. This needs Assets v 2.8+ as well.

 

I updated the end of the scene in the basement so the force greet is not the last AI package used.

I also made changes to the removal scripts to make them faster and more efficient. The scene in the shop by the slaves the removal / equipping of items at the end was taking nearly a minute for me before the changes, now it was only a few seconds. It should also eliminate the double items as well.

6- Another thing about the deliveries (possible storyline later) - Master is an Agent for the Thalmor and some of these deliveries have information for operatives.

 

We love to hate her, but making a Thalmor out of her would propably drop the love out of it. xwacko.png.pagespeed.ic.99t1mQqZE7.png

She feels more independent than that. Maybe she indeed is a part of the Dominon, but playing her own game?

 

I have a deep hatred for the Thalmor and go out of my to kill any I find out and about on the roads.  Making her an agent for them?  Please no!  Why can't she just be what she is - a dom with a nice little business going?  Or, if a larger context is needed, then she could be a leading figure in the Skyrim bdsm subculture.  There's unlimited room for creativity in developing that world, and there's already a link to it in Tavish.  Keep the mod semi-close to the main game (having to go back to the shop every 10 days was a brilliant idea for example) without getting wrapped up in it.

 

Re the 2.74 update, the 1st time I slept in the basement just fine, the 2nd time Taari was in my bedroll and the empty one was of course owned.
