They could be more powerful alchemy ingredients or just be food items that can be used as ingredients in cooking pot recipes that are either stronger or more valuable than vanilla food. For the cooking pot an example would be using Sabre cat cum in the elsweyr fondue to make it with bonus effect. Since elsweyr fondue already enhances magicka you can make the sabre cat cum version also increase health (an effect from the eye of sabre cat) and stamina (an effect from the sabre cat tooth).

Doing the cooking pot/food option would allow you to make really strong food items that last a lot longer than a potion so going to visit a creature would be really worth your time as well. vanilla elsweyr fondue's effect last for 12 minutes so only getting 1 or 2 samples would be worth your time.

A cool idea, but probably 90% of players won't even use it in food or potions.

Also, the time used for this is better used for other things, but I will add it to the TODO LIST nonetheless.

1. Obviously Niranye is shady to begin with, she's a fence... and she does her best to redirect scrutiny. What I also think interesting is Luaffyn (a Dunmer) gigs Candlehearth all the time while Rolff goes around bashing Dunmer constantly... you can sometimes catch him applauding her performance. Susanna always tells me to go get a real drink at the Corner Club... we know her "Wicked" does not refer to mean 😉 . I go to great lengths to save her - mod to bypass it - during blood on the ice, she's too sweet and often times too pretty to let be serial killer fodder.

2. Yes, many Nords really don't seem to care, while proud most of them are pretty down to earth common people. It's why they're pretty split in the civil war, those who have antipathy for elves feel they're being oppressed or taken advantage of, is a reason for their xenophobia. Although, they do tend to be all about honor and more family oriented by nature, Nura Snow-Shard is pissed off her son is marrying Vittoria Vici - an imperial - she thinks her hips are too skinny and she wants grandchildren, lot's of them.

Hah, I had completely forgotten about these things :D It's been a long time since I played Skyrim normally :P

Don't you have other mods editing skall village hall?

Thanks for creating this great mod!

I have a question here, is it possible to just enable long-hair version of Tirwin? I mean, Don't let her use the short-hair wig permanently. I made a visual replacer for her, and just want her using the replacer version's hairstyle.

With lux of all things? Open the load up in xEdit then see what's winning ... then check that location. The great hall is Block 9, sub-block 1

Animal research edits some npc dialog, adds another npc to the hall and tosses an item in a drawer (my gut feeling is it's something to do with the drawer?). It retains the orginal DLC2 navmesh and the only thing I had to patch was for it to use ussep ownership of the upstairs bed which is  (DLC2SVGreathallFaction)

I'm surprised I don't have an issue... I'm using J.K.'s Skyrim + Greater Skaal Village + Eli's + Rs Children and all patched (getting that load order right in patches correct is even a pain due to the overlaps)... I even bastardized my Greater Skaal, I added two female Skaal guards including editing that Hall with x markers - they patrol outside and in the hall then sleep in the basement. - Is why that sub-block is imbedded in my brain.

There are also edits to the lower floor -- some added partitions and a bed, etc. -- to give Freyka a place to sleep (and a private place to have sex). And, there are edits to the navmesh to keep NPCs away from the new items. I also added a lamp in this new area.

I'm not familar with the lux mod. What do you think the problem is? I think I just added one lamp. I might have moved another a tiny bit. Wow, I just looked at the lux mod. It has some 200 patches for other mods! Obvious question, but is your LO set up to let lux overwrite AR?

First: kudos for this mod, nice story.

Unfortunately I encountered CTDs when aproaching Markarth after I finished the quest line.

The crashlog gave me a hint to animal research, especially the Thalmor outside of Markath.

The crash was this very common

"EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at ... SkyrimSE.exe+03BE3D7

It vanished after disabling AnimalResearch.esp.

Edit:

Videos and Crashlogs attached. One Crasklog from "trainwreck", the other one from "CrashLoggerSSE AE VR with PDB support".

I tried to figure out how close to Markarth I can move without crash and found a perfect spot at "The Naked Dragon" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/94940.

As far as I know lux mainly affects interior lighting utilizing enb... and that is why there are so many patches for interiors which were altered. (I'd first look at the load order... what mod is winning? i.e. Animal Research is the last mod in my load which affects the cell, still Greater Skaal Village changes are present.)

I agree the load order is everything. LUX changes a lot about light sources, fire, candles, windows, etc...

Oh you added a lamp? and I assumed that bed was from another mod... (if it had been on the opposite side of the room it would had clashed with Greater Skaal Village - that adds a trap door over there going down to a basement). I should had looked through the cell a bit more, but not much showed up off the bat - color all light green.

Without changing the script code it will be a hair changer, but you can delete the Sprite and SpriteHl files and then make copies of the Jordan and JordanHl files and rename them to the deleted ones. This way you can only have long hair for Tirwin.

But suggestion added to TO DO LIST.

You'd have to give more information, because to me it says absolutely nothing. Could be causing CTD through another mod where Thalmor appears.

probably related to the navmesh and some of the lamp to the area, yea they way it works is lux always be on the late side of lo so its overwriting it, if u have time to look heres my crash log, and probably guide me how to make patch for it. haven had time to learn navmeshing and the lighting stuff

Without changing the script code it will be a hair changer, but you can delete the Sprite and SpriteHl files and then make copies of the Jordan and JordanHl files and rename them to the deleted ones. This way you can only have long hair for Tirwin.

But suggestion added to TO DO LIST.

Hi there, i try to do so, but there‘s also a hair-change message on the screen occasionally, and i hope her hairstyle should be settled by Player's choice (like her chatting and magic-using frequency). Could you tell me how to achieve that? Should i just edit the file ”VAR_TirwinLHChangeLoc.psc“?Thanks.

Of course, a message about changing hairstyle appears, because the script still thinks she has 2 different hair. It's better if you wait for a mini update where there will probably be an option for Tirwin not to change hairstyle. Well, at least that's what Gristle wrote to me.

Okay, I'll wait for this mini update then. Thanks!

BTW, hope to see more sex scenes with Naryu Virian in the future!

Yes, but you'd have to recompile that source file if you edit it to remove the message. I'll add a dialogue request for her to keep her hair down, but I wouldn't want it to be available too early in the quest. I think her desire to put her hair up in public is important to establish her high-bred manners and "prim and proper" upbringing and personality, at least initially.

Yes, I think such feature should be based upon her relationship with the PC or how far along in her quests they are.

AnimalResearch.ESP active.7z 14.39 MB · 0 downloads AnimalResearch.ESP inactive.7z 45.46 MB · 0 downloads

crash-2025-02-19-17-57-00.7z 9.6 kB · 0 downloads 2025-02-18-20-07-41.7z 19.83 kB · 0 downloads

Hmm... movzx eax, byte ptr [rcx+1Ah] so that address it's calculating is not allocated at the time. (not that you care but what I mean by that is a byte value in rcx + 1A as an address which gets loaded into eax and extended to 64 bits)

What I'm thinking is there is something altering the same exact location.

So, quick question: How close to Markart is the Naked Dragon? I never used the mod but I know it's on Markart outskirts.

Test this if it is near the general area as the farm. Leave Animal Research enabled and disable the Naked Dragon, to see if you ctd then?

Generally speaking you can typically find out using xEdit to load up the entire load order and look at that cell blocks being edited.

When I just looked at the Worldspace in Animal Research outside Markart

It's Block -2, 0

Sub-Block -6, 0

00007179 is SalviusFarmExterior02

0000717A is MararthExterior01

000075AB is LeftHandMineExterior02

Sub-Block -5, 0

00007178 is SalviusFarmExterior01

Mine turned up clean and no conflicts naturally, You can look in CK too but you can't compare it with another mod via that easily.

It's only a few seconds to run from there to Markarth, you can see in one of the videos.

But this mod is not the end of the story... by disabling Animal Research, I can walk into Markath, but now Whiterun gives me crashes.

There's something around creating these crashes, and it's enforced/suppressed by other mods.

This will be a painful journey 🥴

That's acceptable. I think this dialogue can be enable after finish all quests in skyrim (before PC and Tirwin go to Solsheim). After 'researching' so many animals in skyrim, she should realize and embrace her REAL nature.

A cool idea, but probably 90% of players won't even use it in food or potions.

Also, the time used for this is better used for other things, but I will add it to the TODO LIST nonetheless.

In fille "her up" you already get cum ingredient that you can use to make powerfull stamina poisons or to stiate your cum hunger from "cum swallow needs".

Suggestions:

-Making a specific "moaning voice" and some lewd phrase like "oh fuck/ keep pounding me" and more for tyrwin.

Currently when in a sexlab scene all females will use generic sexlab females voices. But Tyrwin has been so much well voiced that it feel strange to suddenly her her moan in those generic females sound that do not sounds like her.

(i use "Bella voice" for my PC and it already feels a little strange to hear my pc moan in a different voice )

-Would love to hear comment when her or PC are peeing in front of each other/ in each other mouths using  "Pee and fart".

-In my opinion "fill her up" is an awsome addition to this mod. So if she could make lewd comments about how she likes to feel/seePC having cum coming out of holes it woud be amazing.

Reacting about exchange on Tyrwin clothes:

I found the current system perfect. It allows you to choose your level of immersion and roleplay as you can dress her as you want you can tell if she is naked or not. Not everyone plays the mod in the same maner. So it would be best if it stays like this or similar instead of forcing you to dress her in a certain way. Options are always better.

This is a bug in the current version. The quest can be started midstream of the first animal by wandering through the area where the cage will be. This will be corrected in the next version, which will be posted very soon. I'm wondering, if the quest didn't start properly, how is Tirwin following you?

No clue!!!  when I went to the bannered mare, she was in the side room, the other person was gone, I missed the entire opening dialogue. I went up and talked to her, and she asked me if I was ready to leave yet.  Quest popped up in my journal earlier when I wandered past the bandit camp. So I left, she followed, we went to the bandit camp.

I've done more then a few lewd mods and I have to say that it amuses me greatly to know so many folks are listening to me fake moan lol.  That said, sound effects are extremely difficult to make and success varies with the model.  Sexy moaning with Tirwin's voice type may not be technically possible.  Commentary is fine though.

I was experimenting and her emotions are too muffled and sound effects are basically a no go.  If you really wanted something like this, your best bet might be to just try and rip the combat grunts and moans from vanilla to approximate sexy time.
