TheInternetMan Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 I'm having an issue where the eyes of the NPCs created by this mod are blacked out, it seems to only be to the characters from this mod, and no other mod. I had the same issue before updating, and unfortunately the update doesn't seem to fix the issue. Anybody have any idea what might be causing it?

MylzDavis75 Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 I'm having an issue where the quest is stuck and wont continue. Was having an issue where Tirwin was glitching out and stuck in a death pose on the ground and wouldnt move. So sent her back to Whiterun and continued some other missions. One of those was the Dirty Deeds part where you grab the Ash Guardian book, the quest is stuck at the "have Tirwin read it before leaving the passage" (something to that effect ) Tried to go back to Whiterun and pick her up again ( luckily she was unstuck from the ground by then ) and give talk to her about the book but nothing happened. Tried taking her back to the dungeon and talking to her there, still no good Is there a console command to skip to past that part or something? Have tried removing and re adding the mod back in, but no bueno.

I think the npcs here use vanilla eyes. May also be if you're using different bodies/heads like oBody or something? Edited February 12, 2025 by eflat01

Oh, I understand what they did, Naryu does forcegreet at that point, but they're running too far ahead of Tirwin. I think Naryu targets Tirwin not the PC at first. Then she talks to the PC. That's kind of like when I was finishing up "Bearly Human" I ran and talked to Naryu and took off before Tirwin could catch up to finish the quest and add "The North Wind". Is why I suggested if you could figure out a way to make sure both the PC and Tirwin are close together. Also, if people have overly excessive map markers, like I do, you could possibly fast travel right to the Retching Netch's door and get by Naryu. Kind of like when I fast traveled straight to the ship on the ending quest and ended up in the harbor. (literally) 😂 Edited February 12, 2025 by eflat01

Keep Tirwin with you at all times :3 To be honest, I expected there to be some problems with the inn and Naryu in front of him. As for The North Wind, I didn't think it was possible to mess up 😧

As for The North Wind, I didn't think it was possible to mess up 😧 I suppose you may look into adding a dialog to the inn keeper to send them to Naryu if they do that? It's the transition into The North Wind I had screwed up on initial play-through, I quickly figured out what I did wrong though ... I look at my mistakes before reporting a bug, fix it myself or work around then post. Steps detailed... Spoiler In Bearly Human : 1. Tirwin said we should return to the village to let them know Vilfred is okay and return the headress. 2. We existed the mine and headed back... my PC moves rather quickly, and as you know most followers have issues following over rivers, etc... 3. I reached the door of the greathall where Naryu greeted me and had the conversation ... figuring Tirwin would catch up. I asked Naryu to do the tasks of letting them know Vilfred was fine and return the headress - that checked off those tasks. 4. I then fast traveled to "The Ship" - I've a direct map marker to it - in Ravenrock thinking Tirwin and Ragnar would just teleport there with me when I zoned in. She didn't... I fast traveled back found her but she would not say anything. That broke the advancement. So I figured out I missed something. Reloaded a save from the mine exist and walked Tirwin back to the Skaal Village the long way. I then realized it's Tirwin's dialog after Naryu's dialog at Skaal Village which ends "Bearly Human" and starts "The North Wind"... I also realized the quest removes the ship, etc... when we fast traveled to "The Ship" this time and ended up in the water. 😂 Edited February 12, 2025 by eflat01
GayZHot Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 hey gristle, you plan on doing more quest mods like this? especially the beast topic on it, i like em, i personally just wish there was more and less female PC focussed ones but most quest mods on here are mainly only designed for female PCs

When I talked to Tirwin about returning the headdress I got a notification in the upper-left corner that it had been added to my inventory. Then when I talked to Naryu and asked her to give it back to Freyka, it was removed. Again I never touched her inventory before taking the headdress from her. EDIT: I gave 0.34 a quick run. She did take off the headdress right before the rieklings and it stayed off for the rest of the scene. It definitely wasn't there for animations like I suggested before. On my first two playthroughs she definitely was wearing it when we exited the cave. That is when I took it from her the first time. On this third run, she was not wearing it when we exited the cave much to my surprise. However, when I fast travelled to the Headwaters, I found she had put it back on. Reveal hidden contents On her first scene with the werebear, she did take it off with the rest of her clothes. However, when they were done, she put only the headdress on and nothing else. She never takes it off from then on. Reveal hidden contents When this scene ends is when she gives me a copy (she is still wearing it). Reveal hidden contents When I get back to the village and talk to Naryu is when my copy gets removed. I give it to her. Quest complete. Tirwin still wears her copy. Reveal hidden contents Thanks. I was mistaken. The headdress was being unequipped from Tirwin prior to her sex scenes, but not removed. I will update it so that it is removed. I don't know why she would be reequipping it when she exits the cave, but removing it from her will certainly stop her from equipping it at inappropriate times.

Normally she keeps her clothes off until all the scenes have been played and the player says its time to look for the next book. Other characters like Naryu and Kaydi were keeping their clothes off during parties even when they were not in action. Not sure why TIrwin kept putting hers back on. I'm pretty sure on my first run she stayed undressed until I said it was time to go. If she has her college robes outfit on, then her outfit is being set to a 'NakedOutfit' before every Sexlab animation (even ones not triggered by this mod). If it's not working reliably, it's probably a timing issue, as this code has not changed. I'll add a short delay between the outfit change and the Sexlab animation. Sexlab may be stripping her before the outfit change is done, in which case, Sexlab will "unstrip" her afterward, restoring her college robes outfit.

I quit dialogue to see if i have loaded a lesbian threesome animation and when i spoke to them back the dialogues was not available anymore. I dont know exactly how dialogues work in base game but making sure nothing disapear before the action has really been taken would be better and prevent such a thing. The dialogue is marked "Say Once" so it is not available a second time. The reason isn't to block repeated sex, but because the "first time" dialogue is not suitable for repeated sex requests. The thought was to come back and add different more appropriate dialogue for repeatable sex events. This isn't a problem for the main quest dialogue, as it is not marked "Say Once" but instead is available until the stage advances (which typically happens at the very end of the dialogue). So, you can drop out of the main quest dialogue and get back into it. 16 hours ago, leking said: IDEA: Maybe in next update give the opportunity to make a repeatable threesome and 1on1 with ria , PC and tirwin as they seems to became really close at the end of the quest and already consent to do it in the cave (same with angi). I suppose Aela would not be against bringing 3 wolves and each girl would take one at the same time in some kind of orgy. Angi could tell you to come by anytime so she could call snowflake for you to enjoy. Yes, these kinds of repeatable encounters are definitely planned. 16 hours ago, leking said: Ria as a follower could have the option to call olaf for your party to enjoy, Angi as follower could call snowflake anywhere and aela could as a follower also call a pack of several wolves (10 or more) to engage with them in 2/3/4/5p scene. Then animals would disapear again in the nature. I think the intent is to have Tirwin develop similar skills (which could perhaps be taught to the PC), so that there's no need to add followers.

Hmm, She unequipped when the Reiklings sex started and never put it back on in my play-throughs. Then at the end of Bearly Human she gave it back to my PC to hand back at the Skaal Village... which I gave it to Naryu. I played through version .33 and played through Riding Bareback three times, Initially the mine-door is locked until you give her the headdress. Each time she took the headdress off when getting undressed for the chief and never put it back on. While I was in that mine and she was busy I mined heart stones, and considered robbing the little blue fellas blind. I made sure to hit every dialog option in every quest. The only part of that quest had me nervous was finding that gem for Narya... I knew it was out of reach but took me a while to stumble upon. Two questions I may ask of the OP: 1. What version they had installed? 2. How they gave it to Tirwin at the mine? What I mean by that second question is I might think that may happen if they used the "about your outfit?" I want you to wear this option rather than the other dialog to give her the headdress. Edited February 12, 2025 by eflat01 1
TheInternetMan Posted February 12, 2025 Posted February 12, 2025 I'm having an issue with the Troll quest, like others after talking to Ria I don't have a quest marker, and going to the cave doesn't advance the quest nor are there trolls in the cave. I updated from v .22 to .34. I didn't skip any of the quests, but I might have skipped dialogue when talking to Ria. Unfortunately I have the save from right after talking to Ria, but the only save from before that was from a couple days ago, and I'd prefer not to go that far back... Downgrading the mod back to v .22 still doesn't give me the quest marker, but the quest advances by going to the cave, however, the trolls don't spawn, and as such breaks the quest, so that wont work either. Is there any way via console to modify the cave to the proper quest stage before I go in, so the trolls spawn?

To cover the case where she is lagging behind, I'll move her to the PC when each of these two scenes start if she is not nearby. In the meantime, both locations can be fast traveled to. 🙃 1
