Example 1 was machine generated and modified in bulk.  Example 2 was with a "voice actor", and I use that term very loosely, then manually adjusted.  Machine generated can make things super quick and can decently capture the correct emotions most of the time.  Whereas recording lines yourself takes days and is super annoying.  As far as I'm concerned, the machine here is good enough.  I won't be recording lines myself, but if someone really wanted to voice act and record this mod's 2300 voice files so far, I'll work them, I guess. But I'm really just an interloper here and not actually even affiliated with the mod 😆

These 4 lines of dialogue were for Dark Elf and Tirwin, but for some reason it only generated dialogue for Dark Elf.

Can we get a spell to summon Ragnar? He's stuck where the boat back from Solstheim part of the quest is and no amount of PRID or anything allowed me to bring him back to me. Finished all the quests and no issues, just had to use a lot of quest commands due to SL P+ not registering scene ends. Hoping one day it will be patched.

Entering to any location or a fast trip will fix Ragnar.

I was using https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/93266?tab=files though... so am rearranging the load a bit for the time being. I may go back through and edit to use the newer version later.

 

I'm not sure what they improved?

Also dunno if it's me but Tirwin's eyes seem kind of bright. I did load this after a HP Eyes of Beauty but let your's replace the five eye sets you use.

Actually, I mostly play in first person. I find it to be more immersive, and I could never get the hang of third person combat. Felt odd.

 

The bumping by Tirwin isn't a problem, I was just wondering if it was part of a series of actions leading to more intimate interactions.

Yes is a good idea, 

 

Though I never notice said problem because most npc's (Tirwin included) will spank the PC when bumped into. 😉 (the animation thus creates movement)

 

I also have Gristle's SL Fame Comments running so Tirwin says comments from that also when bumped into.

Can you enter it without the mod active? 

 

If so, likely may be a conflict between some other mod and this one. You can use xEdit to see what in your load order touches the location.

 

(btw... I always kind of disliked that place, Meridia, Jarl's Stewarts along with everyone and there mom always seem to send me there too.)

Wait.... My voice files?  I don't recall Tirwin yelling.  Or did I mess up the quality somewhere?

Edit: Okay, I must admit I was confused.  I thought folks were saying I was missing voice files, which would be impossible to know since I hadn't uploaded anything yet.  I didn't realize you were including xVASynth files with the mod as well.  It makes more sense now and it's all sorted. Thank you, Now I can update .. Poor Tirwin and Ragnar been hanging around the Bannered Mare for months, I'm sure they'll be happy we're off to see the world again. Well maybe? I'm sure she also get's tired of repeating quests over and over again just because the old dude behind the keyboard loves to beat the hell out of code and break things. 😛

Thanks for the tip. It was indeed not this mods fault, for whatever reason when I disabled ccas it worked.

Use the Creation Kit for this.

 

1. To see what NPCs are added to the game by the mod in question, open TES5Edit, look under Non-Player Character (Actor).
2. You might want to backup your FaceGen folders, if the mod has loose files. Yes, even FaceTints.
3. Open the Creation Kit and load my hair replacer and the mod you want to add facegen for, have that mod as active (Unless it's a Master file) If you get any warnings click "Yes to all"
4. Go to Actors - Actor - actor and mark the NPCs listed under each race and hit ctrl + F4, if you get any warnings click "Yes to all", you'll see a little star beside count, that means that that NPC is edited by the active mod. You don't need to select Argonians, Khajiit, Snow Elfs, Dremora or children.
5. You'll find your exported facegen in Data\meshes\actors\character\FaceGenData\FaceGeom\nameofmod.esp

Tip: Don't export too many facegen in one go, Creation Kit can crash.

 

The textures files will refer to the original files from High Poli and eyebrows.

 

So this will not work
Textures/Tirwin/tirwinbrow.dds

Textures/Tirwin/Sprite.dds

Textures/Tirwin/Jordan.dds

 

Unless you change the folder link in NIFScope. In CK this can also be done, but caused problems with missing textures in the game.

 

In general, it would be better for you to make a new ESP file (flagged as esl Note: as ESL can be flagged in xEdit) and make changes there. 

Thanks, and yes point was to use CK for the real work. Like I said I never seen anything in xEdit to do a facegen... 

 

The esp by inheritance can't be eslfied. Esl requires the ID's within the mod fall within a small range, Just setting the flag the mod would come up invalid by the game engine. Obviously you would not want to compress nor renumber ID's - they have to match the ID's in Animal Research. You might get away with such with one npc but Tirwin is 00056970 another two npcs in it are 00738f75 and 009ef48d the id's are already outside the range of an esl where id's should look like. i.e. FExxxNNN once loaded. it's best to keep an esl's internal form ID's between xx000800 and xx000fff for older versions of SE, although I'm guilty of starting form id's at xx000001. 😉

a... Spank That Ass Bella Voice (Not needed but voice files)

 

b... DF Spank SLAL mini-pack -SE (not sure if it's needed but well fits the theme)

 

c... Also have "Slavetats_spanked_1.0.rar"  

 

I have the pc set to react to the smacks and that generally pushes a npc in front of her aside. Note: an npc does not have to be behind to spank... I thought strange but eh...

A Ragnar summon spell could be added. But since Ragnar technically is following Tirwin, it might make more sense to give Tirwin a dialogue option to summon Ragnar, something like "Tirwin, where's Ragnar?" and then she could reply "I don't know. I'll call him."

Quick question. Bella dbvo was updated recently for v3.2 ; considering the small update difference with current v3.3 is the bella dbvo patch supposed to work or will i encounter problems? I mean it is only voice sound after all and i suppose v3.3 has not more dialogues than 3.2.

 

(I ask before trying cause i have so many voice pack for everything it can be a little tricky to arrange everything.)

I think the issue here is the npc is still "locked" by SL P+, that kind of sucks... You might attempt to force another scene with him via Aroused Creatures if you have it, and hope that clears him.

 

With console before you start - save

 

With Prid I suggest being in his location (being on the boat).

That should at least shove the packages active on him, but may not because his following package is likely added to him by script. So we're hoping  the packages are still attached - but suspended.

 

I do not know about P+ but I recall with straight old SexLab the function call to start sex includes the actors, animation and the starting spot if one.

 

Sexlab then takes those and does a few things including this:

 

1. event start

2. disables the packages 

3. invokes the animations 

4. attempts to reset the packages 

5. event end

 

That is why an npc can get slaughtered in the middle of sex. (least they'd go with a smile on there face?)

 

I do not know which packages are relevant here without looking through Ragnar and the code.

Follower frameworks typically attach follower packages via script... and that's not unusual in any quests which add temp followers etc...

Is there a COC for the boat? I'm finished witht he full questline LOL! I don't wanna go back a load of saves :( I should of noticed sooner.

No, but to me that sounds like a conflict on the cell or maybe even the door to the cell. I know you know the key is to see what's all touching the cell.

 

 

A while back I had a ctd when trying to enter Fort Greenwall due  Dydolod not generating an lod right... of all things.

Yes, esl form ids end up internally as FExxx000 to FExxxFFF where xxx is the load order of an esl.

 

What that means you may have up to 4095 Esl's in your load order and each Esl may have up to 4095 form ID's.

Yes, adding it to Tirwin's dialog would be the nicest approach for that imo.  The PC can be swamped with summon powers.

 

... but I feel you're right on Tirwin it would be more immersive.

 

If Ragnar is falling behind or lost

 

PC : "Where's Ragnar, I thought he was following?"

Tirwin : "Oh, he was right behind us, he does wonder off sometimes." 

Tirwin : " <Whistle> Ragnar, where are you? Come boy!"

 

If really ambitious you could also add a "Ragnar wait" dialog to her.

 

PC : "Think Ragnar should stay here?"

Tirwin : "Sure, Ragnar stay, be a good boy." 

 

then if Ragnar was in the Wait state the dialog to bring him back can be different...

 

PC : "Call Ragnar, we need to be going."

Tirwin : "Ragnar! Come on boy! <Whistle> <Whistle> "

 

etc...

Did you actually ask Ragnar to follow you and Tirwin before going to Solstheim? I had a similar issue when I first started testing the new version.

 

I had not journeyed with Tirwin and Ragnar since completing version 0.22 a few months ago and they had both been just staying at their designated locations in Whiterun since then. After downloading the latest update, I only asked Tirwin to follow me and immediately fast travelled to Solstheim.

 

Upon getting there I was surprised to see Ragnar had come along with us, but he wouldn't get off the boat! He was just running in place like he was trying to get back to Skyrim on his own.

 

So, I went back to an earlier save back in Whiterun, went to the stables, actually ASKED Ragnar to follow me and Tirwin, then when I went back to Solstheim he followed us no problem. If he is still on the boat in your game, try talking to him and see if you can ask him to follow you. He might still be trying to get back to Whiterun/Skyrim because he is not an active follower.

 

If he is following you, maybe try dismissing both him and Tirwin, wait awhile and go back to Whiterun and see if they are back in their designated locations?
