If the player becomes a HuCow through NPCs, does the player automatically get HuCow Hunger and Cum Addiction, or do they both have to be activated in MCM? You have to activate them via the MCM because some players do not want those features turned on. 1
fred200 Posted February 16, 2025 Posted February 16, 2025 Making it an MCM option is much appreciated...

I have another question. If one of the settlers has a job (doctor for example). What happens to the job assignment if this settler chooses life as a HuCow? Will the settler then be “released from the job” or do I have to take care of it myself?

The easiest way to get rid of the job is to assign the hucow to the exam table and then release them from the table. They will have no job once released. I should put a script function in to remove them from their jobs when they become hucows. I will add it to my list. 2
fred200 Posted February 16, 2025 Posted February 16, 2025 Maybe add job assignment check to bedcheck?
gaodao Posted February 16, 2025 Posted February 16, 2025 After getting the Hukao Reversal Essence back, the system prompts me to hand the item over to Dr. Moreau for inspection, but the item was automatically deducted when I talked to him just now. What should I do? The mission is stuck and I don't know how to hand it over to him

You will get a quest objective message telling you when the time is right to talk to him.

By the way, does the hucow farm mentioned by the ghoul in the cheese factory exist, or is it future content?

If this is true - are arriving HuCows going to be safe from assignment?

I have assigned hundreds of hucows to settlements. The only job that I can remember them taking is farming if the settlement doesn't have enough food but has untended crops. Assigning them to the table and then releasing them from the table will clear that problem up. 1

The pills work if they are put into an NPC's inventory. Syringes must be fired from the Pipe Syringer. Use the HuCow Serum Syringe to change a settler into a hucow. It works on any NPC that has the WorkshopNPC script. Use the HuCow Clone Syringe on enemy NPCs or neutral NPCs that are not settlers (like Scavengers). The HuCow Clone (all to hucow) syringe will turn male and female NPCs into female hucows. The Hucow Clone (allow bulls) will turn male NPCs into bulls and female NPCs into female hucows. Note that the cloning process does not result in two NPCs (an original and a clone). What happens is that the original NPC is replaced by a clone copy that has the WorkshopNPCscript so that you can assign them to settlements. I recommend that you do not use the clone syringes on Unique NPCs that you need for quests. The HuCow Serum syringes can be used on them but you will not be able to assign those hucows to settlements if they do not have the WorkshopNPC script. I added this script to a few Unique actors in my mod so that you can turn them into hucows and assign them. These NPCs include: Darla Doctor Duff Emogene Cabot (using the Recruit Emogene Cabot mod) Isabel (the Mechanist) K1-98 Overseer Barstow (using the Human Overseer Barstow mod) Professor Scara Companions already have the WorkshopNPCscript. Many of these NPCs have hucow dialogue that I made for them. I add dialogue for a few NPCs when I am in the mood and have a software subscription to make it. 2
fred200 Posted February 17, 2025 Posted February 17, 2025 Farming is the only auto-assignment I have noticed. Minor issue indeed. HuCow is welcome to harvest crops, as far as I am concerned.

The syringe and ammo names are not changing any time soon. It would confuse too many people. My beds are in my mod's build menu. Only one has a pillow. It should have a green blanket and a white pillow. All beds in a settlement will show the owner's name if you use the Bed Check function in my mod. Bed Check can be started using the Human Cow Control System holotape or a hucow player can ask a male settler to do a bed check.
roflmaones Posted February 17, 2025 Posted February 17, 2025 damn, then i have an problem i have reinstalled ure mod again and an 3th time now... the bed shows pink pillow and grey blanket

The pillow appears to be missing a texture but it uses a default game texture so you seem to be missing a texture. 1
roflmaones Posted February 17, 2025 Posted February 17, 2025 oops, u have change something in the last update on the settler -> hucow counting? in the last version an hucow was deletes from the "slaves in settlement" list of human ressources, now not more...

HuCow is welcome to harvest crops, as far as I am concerned. If you're using Commonwealth Captives, some of them will auto assign to defense as they're guards to start with. Other than that, they're just normal settlers, as far as auto assigning goes. I just leave them to farming since they don't eat to much of the crop. 😜 BTW, if you have a freshly cleared settlement, with 0 settlers, and send a new HuCow there from another location, the first one you send "should" auto assign to food. It's a vanilla behavior, sooo... it doesn't always work! LOL 1

I didn't change the script that removes new hucows from other mod refcollectionaliases. Maybe you used a hucow clone syringe to create a hucow, which "kills" the original actor so it would be removed from refcollectionaliases. Then this time you used a hucow serum syringe which does not kill the original actor so it is still in the "slaves in settlement" count. I will add that to my list and check my remove from other mod aliases function. Maybe I need to add another refcollectionalias for Human Resources. 1
