The generic hucows for sale do not have unique dialogue.

 

They use base game actor templates and many of those actors will have a preset Facegen so you won't be able to change them via Looksmenu.

 

Creating a pool of actors to populate the generic hucow leveled character list is possible but would take a lot of time that I do not have right now.

Another data point:

I always use the same name (start from the same pre-cow checkpoint), and have never seen anything carry over.

There may be a subtle difference. It seems like you are describing having a fixed playthrough starting point with a single character, and you keep that save protected, in a steel vault as it were, and when you want to have a fresh playthrough, you go back to that protected save as your starting point.  What I have been doing is actually starting a brand new game from no save, but using the same character name as in previous playthroughs. Forgive me if I have it wrong/misinterpret what you are describing. I wouldn't mind using the console a few times to get through the issue, but I fear that I might encounter additional future issues of similar nature, requiring more console intervention. I did some reading, and terminals can act as quest givers/triggers, and somehow, the last two of the multiple terminal reading entries in the Medtek facility upper level terminal will not play for me, and I believe that those two are the quest trigger for the next stage, which would send me to Parson's. I'm still figuring out how I wish to proceed, whether to start new, again, with a new character name, and test that, or rely on console help...  Happy to see the updates to the mod, and the addition, though in beta stages, of a player character ambush, turning a female player into a hucow.

My playstyle is - different. I play Skyrim and Fallout for the mods; not the base game.

I have maybe 20 Fallout 4 mod specific profiles, and starting from the same base. A level 50 base. I have not died in-game - in years. Yay Vortex.

When I get a new version of HuCow requiring a fresh start, I delete all the saves for that profile and pick up a clean save from my default.

Works for me. And I really never have Fallout CTD.

Simple fix to cover NG/X-Cell users. 

Tick the "Is CharGen Face Preset" on each of your NPCs.

NG will display the head, X-Cell will ignore them and they'll display normally.

Plus... you can delete the extra useless facegen data.

Bugthesda really porked the pouch with that garbage!

Updated on a current save, v1.26

Most of the workshop menu icons are missing and nothing spawns when building it. All but the table and conversion chair are missing from the unique furniture cat, a few random things are missing from the non hucow cat. Everything is missing from the stalls cat.

Pre-update built items are not spawing either.

Going to try a new run as other things are also broke.

Could you install this? 

 

What happens is that Grim is working with a Creation Kit Next Gen and that could be generating that behavior in your version.

I just used the BA2 Version Patcher and it seems to be working fine now. 👍 The back port tool messes up my nice clean mainmenu.swf :P

So far I haven't had an issue, but I've only tried it on a couple mods.

It literately only changes the header to 1.

The Backported F4SE mod I couldn't get to work right, plus it messes up my main menu.

Which is normal for a Bugthesda game! LOL

Did you make any changes to the HuCow Serum and allow bulls serum? Syringers versions.

Noticed the HuCow serum works normally on female settlers, but male settlers only get stripped and there's no notification or Fuck dialogue option.

The allow bulls, changes the female and male (I think) looks, and they go right to crawling even with the MCM crawl option turned off.

The Hucow Pills, allow bulls, changes males to female.

I will look at the syringe and pill scripts.  I haven't changed them AFAIK but sometimes changing one little thing has unintended second and third order effects.

Version 1.25.2. of Human Cattle is the last pre-NG version.  I am leaving it available in the downloads section.

 

From now on, I plan to leave three downloads:  1.25.2, the latest version, and the one that immediately preceded the latest version.

Oh, and doesn't require NG since the ba2's are still version 1.

1.26 and beyond will for sure need to be upgraded back to version 1 file header. 😏

first thing: nice work on the update, the missing heads are back :)

 

the pink issue is an clothing prob i will solve in bodyslide.

Only plants from the base game and its DLCs reduce hunger for the player hucow.  All other foods will make you sick and you will lose health.

 

I don't know of anything in Human Cattle that would affect Clem.  The only restriction that I can think of is that you cannot give Clem a blowjob while he is in a scene.

 

There is nothing to stop hucows from using furniture except for the furniture items in Human Cattle's build menu.  There are really only two ways to control their use of furniture.  One way is to set all of their movement packages so that they cannot use furniture.  The other way is to add a condition to the furniture so that hucows cannot use it.  I chose the second method so that hucows can use the animation mats, beds, and the hucow exam table.  The impregnation stool must not block actors from entering it during their sandboxing around the area.

 

Dr. Hope is just there to research.  She is not linked to any quests yet.

The issue with the actor appearances changing was a result of changes that I made to my hucow leveled character list in order to generate new cows for sale at Goodneighbor and Diamond City.  It is fixed now and will be updated in Version 1.26.1.

 

The crawling issue was an error in my MCM script.  It will be corrected in Version 1.26.1.

 

The Hucow Pills to allow bulls is also fixed in Version 1.26.1.

 

I will get the new version uploaded after a few more tweaks to the ambush encounter.
