That screenshot helps a lot.  I think I know what to fix and I will work on it later today when I come back from kayaking.

Version 1.0.3 will fix the popup menu issue.  It was an issue with my battlebabe locker which is an artifact from earlier work on battlebabes that is no longer needed.

The popup menu was showing up every time you assign a settler to anything in your owned settlement.  The odd thing is that it never happens in my playthroughs, but the code, as written, would do that.

Cool. Then I am going to wait for the update and try with a new game

Probably with a profile with a reduced amount of mods activated, as the HuCow Quest still hasn't started for me.

More information about how the morphs work would be great.

I used Bodyslide to build just Fusion Girl athletic preset nude. Morphs turned on. The girls look healthy but still not very big.

How long is each stage, and how many stages are there?

I doubt if we need to build outfits - since the cows are nude.

I was trying to figure out why we needed that locker! I placed it just in case it was needed.

Safety tip: Don't stick the helmet on a cow. They don't like it.

Mandatory question: We assign an NPC to the cow care station. How do we assign an npc as a cow milker? Just give them a bucket?

Give the bucket to settlers so they can be picked at random to do various tasks:   milk, rack bottles, sell milk.  This will not remove them from their current assignments (guard, scavenger, farmer, store/bar/clinic/barber, etc.)

The Cow Care station does the same thing the bucket does EXCEPT that the assigned settler does nothing except cow care stuff.  The bucket is the better option, but the Cow Care station is such a nice-looking piece of furniture that I left it in the beta.

I don't know how any of the mod code works but is there a way  to remove Commenwealth Captives as a requirement?

Commonwealth Captives will be removed as a master in version 1.0.3.

I don't think stage timers are working on Fallout 4 NG...

Dr Hope is stuck in DoctorHopeIdlesSerumPhase, and has been in that stage for about 100 days now. Get all of her idle comments. Never showed wants to be milked or fucked.

I have tried sleeping 24 hours at a time, sleeping 8 hours at a time, and fast traveling all over the map. Nothing kicks her over.

For quick movements, I sleep and then player.moveto her refid. Makes finding her a lot easier.

Stages not advancing could also explain why my cow morphs never get big...

Was Trudy using a pipe submachine gun in that pic?  And what weapons were the NPCs that knelt using?  Were they submachine guns or weapons with the keywords to use submachine gun animations?

No need to reply.  I fixed the problem.  There was a bad animation mesh affecting NPCs holding submachine guns.  It's not needed so I deleted it.  It was another failed experiment.

So Version 1.0.3 will have that fix as well.

There are no stage timers in this Beta except for one NPC conversion that is not Dr. Hope.

To have sex with her when she is horny, you have to turn on "Use this mod's random sex" in the MCM.

To milk her, you have to turn on "Player can milk HuCows" in the MCM.

If either of those are turned off, Doctor Hope will not progress in her research.

Screenshot2024-07-23180930.png.9a96b35d0c2e543b4518383ba101f51a.png

Cow morphs do not grow over time in this beta except that breasts get larger when full of milk.  I will probably add a more variable system in the final version.

Body morph changes when an NPC becomes a hucow must be turned on in the MCM.  In my screenshot above, the cows are full bodied because I first built the femalebody.nif in BodySlide using a preset.  Then during the hucow conversion, that preset was doubled.  Other female NPCs look normal because all female outfits were built in Bodyslide using the default body.  As long as they are dressed, they are slim.  If I took the NPC's road leather outfit off, she would be about half as voluptuous as the cows.  I will post my CBBE and FG slider values here in a minute or two.  I need a cup of coffee.

These are my slider values for the cow morphs for CBBE and FG.  The first pic is CBBE sliders.

The second pic is FG slider values although I think the sliders in Bodyslide may have slightly different names that ones that I call via Bodygen in my script.

As I said in my earlier post, I build the femalebody.nif in Bodyslide using these values.  Then my mod will do it again when a female actor gets changed into a hucow, so the values end up getting doubled.

NOTE:  I do not build clothing morphs with these values.  I use the default body to build all of the female clothing.  The cows don't wear any so they don't need clothing with their body morph.  This method makes the normal female NPCs use the default body when they are dressed.  If your game default clothing or your clothing mods are already prebuilt for the default body, don't change them in Bodyslide unless you want them to morph in game.

Is there wasteland dairy intergration planned?

I'll take a look at it but Invictus_Blade's mods give me a headache and I don't recall there being a lot of overlap.  Maybe I can just allow his milking furniture to add milk to the settlement workbench?  That would not be very difficult.

What things would you like to see integrated from his mod?

how does the player become a cow?

In this beta, just use the MCM setting.  For immersion, in a new game, turn on the MCM setting right after you fall to the floor from the Cryo Chamber or if you use FastStart, turn on the MCM right when you exit the vault while you are still in 1st Person view.

Using your bodyslide settings fixed the breast problem. It helps a lot knowing how it works.

I did not have set Player can milk Hucows or Make Player a Hucow. I set those. The addictions were too crippling, so I turned those off.

Doctor Hope has no libido - she never needs to be serviced. That does not stop my bulls from using her. Does her Moo indicate anything?

No progress.

Milk her first.  Milking always takes priority over fucking.  Why?  If you had udders full of milk, you would understand.

Once you milk her, talk to her.  Tell her that milking usually makes hucows horny.

Stay near her until she mentions that she is full of milk.  Then go milk her.

If you made your male player into a hucow, you can bullfuck just about any NPC.

I used to have her set up so any sex would trigger her progression but she got banged too often, almost like my computer was out to get her.  RNG was not random.  :)

If anyone likes the decon arch shower shown in the screenshot for this mod, my More Ways of Washing mod version 2.1 is now available with that powered arch.

Thanks again:

"Stay near her until she mentions that she is full of milk.  Then go milk her."

How often does she fill up? I have stayed close to her for days, and never once has she commented on her milk.

Is there any way to poke her through the console to make her full?

Was I too late setting "Player can milk HuCows"?

Well the good Doctor never did need milking - but I discovered the _Hope keywords.

She no longer knows which end is up, and I am having a great time.

What would such a system look like? Will the transformation be gradual?

Does this mod play nice with family planning?

They shouldn't interfere with each other. But it would be neat if this mod could be integrated with FP so that the transformation happens automatically based on mod events from FP, for example.

So, I've tried the latest version (23JUL2024) on a new build with only the basic AAF mods installed.
I have the "Holotape" from the Sanctuary Mailbox and read it a few times, but the Quest won't start.
After that, I travelled to Salem to see if I can find the Doctor, but he was nowhere around.
I read the holotape again while in Salem, but still no quest.

*Edit*:
After that I wanted to check with FO4Edit if I could find the quest stages.... but the mod doesn't show in the FO04 Edit overview,...
Is that on purpose or am I missing something?
(I am quite a noob when it comes to FO4Edit)

Btw.: I am using Vortex to install mods, either from the Nexxus or manually.

Even using version 1.03, I'm getting issues with the throughs being purple. The water through is being the most problematic, with my ENB on the water glows so brightly it makes everything darker until I remove it. Here are some screenshots:

Hint:  The Doctor is at Finch Farm.  He moves from place to place around the Salem area because he is searching for things.  I guess I should just point people to the exact locations of everything but I find that boring about FO4.  There is little mystery, everything is spoon fed.

In FO4Edit, this mod probably shows up as VaultTecExp134.esp.
