Aside from that: You seem to wish for a slave/toy/object relationship ... well ... only 1 type of dom will offer this and it's not the one in the test mod.To clarify the dom types: 1 = soft, 2 = definitly not so soft ... let's say loving and 3 = just for her pleasure/amusement. Guess which type it is you're looking for ... and i guess most of the other people here as well? ^^ But i can tell all of you, that #2 has the most functionality as it covers the other 2 partitially while having her own content as well. And to clariy even more: A sub/dom relationship is not a slave/slaver relationship and we do what we can to make this clear when playing the mod. So please guys: Don't get the wrong picture of such a relationship and it's functionality as you might be really disappointed in the end or bombard us with requests that do not fit in there, but can definitly be used for the planed slavery. So if your ideas go in the direction of slavery, please post them as such.

But the main disappointment we all have is mods have low possibilities/options and you are finally making mod that has it. So we will probably will love this mod. So why not concentrate on how awesome its going to be?

Yeah, that and that fact that slaves generally don't enter the deal of the own free will and cannot choose to leave.

As CG! put it when I joined the team "...the third reason someone wants to contribute to a project is to influence its development". So, this was my nefarious intention all along However, we're taking this one step at a time. The initial versions of the mod will not include everything we have in mind.
afa Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 You guys are doing some seriously interesting things that sound like it could be apply even outside of your mod. A more in depth relationship system seems like something the game should be able to use in general. Also a while back you guys mentioned animations that are more like idle, could they somehow be play in pairs by two characters? Say a simple groping or a butt slap one that is somewhat align well enough or maybe even a response animation from the target character.

Could be done if we had the right animations, as right now there isn't even something that looks remotly like this. And don't get us wrong, but our relationship framework will not cover spouses or such in the first releases. Only sub/dom/{secret}/slave and slaver.

This is a game, If you want relationships then you have to be careful with your choices to keep everything in equilibrium, and if you mess up then "Hello, you are a slave now, call me master from now on, or you are in for some trouble". Then you can reload the game if u messed up. I'm up for everything: dom, sub, good, evil, relationships, corruption. One thing I'd be disappointed greatly, if there is not going to be a kind of a game over, like every normal game has. And so far no mods have "game overs", give us at least on mod with it. Like you have this follower with character that you dick around with, and you still complete missions from vanilla skyrim, but at same time, you have this follower who might be more evil to your cause than a helper.

A sex scene ensues then it says i finished the quest "endurance" after this i cant seem to do anything with the mod, and the prostitutes just stand there! Is this a known issue?

You misunderstood something. Nobody will remove slavery from this mod. Slavery is a type of relationship between sub and dom as well. Point was this mod wont be only around slavery, there would be lot more to it. Upcoming version would be a test mod. Test of all of those functions introduced by new framework they are creating. It wont be just a continuation of that last year version of APPS. That would come up later.

We need to finish developing something else that we need for the development of the mod. As this needs alot of testing and needs to be squeezed into our already limited free time, the slow down is unavoidable.
Trivial Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Hey, is there any way to completely reset the mod? installed it through mod manager and have used it for some time. But now it's bugged and after I start the quest the customers don't have any dialogue to take in orders. I tried reinstalling thru mod manager and disabling/enabling mod. Any console commands or something to help? or something?

pb2eb Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 So I've been playing this mod for a few hours and so far I'm really enjoying it, even just playing a tavern wench is fun so far. I will say though that I think the compensation needs to be tweaked far down. I started my character at the job with no money and only a set of rags in her inventory. Gold was a little slim after the first day but she had enough to keep herself fed and get a room for the night. After the next day she had a healthy amount of gold purely from serving food. After day three, over 700 septims so I decided to start misbehaving a bit. Day four, messed up every order, gave the rudest responses possible to people who solicited her without changing their minds, kept a full stomach and got drunk on the most expensive options available and still managed to make over 300 from Hulda. Hulda told her not to come back the next day but when asked for work she was happy to take my character again. Got drunk on immediately, messed up three orders and threatened one customer then left for a couple hours buying a sword while she was out. Came back worked and drank and ate, got a few orders right this time and still making good coin. As it is right now being a terrible tavern wench is both safer and more profitable than adventuring.

Balancing the income is a hard task and the plan was that it will not be so easy to get some money when you just started the game and have no (s)experience. And you shouldn't be able to get a healthy income just from serving drinks and foods. Somewhere in the reward calculations might be still an error or two. And that Hulda gives you the job again after telling you to literally fuck off is a definitely a bug. First report of this bug as far as i remember. I will take notes and when we are back developing the main mod, I will look into this. The tavern job and the prostitution job will then be more splitted up and the reactions to your answers will be more evaluated and may have more consequences (positives as well as negatives).

Working for about 12 hours and making more than 300 septims in wages should be impossible. Thing is the first day I think it worked right and I owed 108. Does waiting while working break the script because the only thing I can say I did differently the other days is wait a lot more after I made my rounds serving people.

With Hulda deducting food orders from your wages it's possibly more profitable to stand and do nothing for the full eight hours, which is a lot harder to do when you have to experience the full game time. I did notice though that if you wait for multiple hours at once the counter seems to only register them as one.

Should be doable. Even when Hulda takes her part you still should have some profit out of this - even on hard setting. Dunno whats happening when you mess up or doze off - i wasnt rly testing that. Still, its hardly breath taking sum of gold we're talking about here. Did some raids when i was hauling loot worth like 40+k gold from single dungeon (ebony weapons mostly). Skyrim economics rly is poor. Money is pretty much worthless once you're done with leveling of crafting skills. And as it was said tavern work is not a priority for now.
pb2eb Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Yeah but if I was actually serving properly to collect tips and not blowing what I earned then a level 2 character managed to pull in close to 2k in three hours of playing. I've done better with starting characters but it's not that easy and it makes it sort of hard if you want to roleplay your character prostituting themselves out of necessity.

How many customers do you have served and how long your worked? Did you used a mod which alters the timescale? So to look ahead into the future, that's what we have planned for the next version: We are probably altering the timescale back to the default value as long as you are working as a barmaid/prostitute. After the job is done, it will be restored (If it was changed at all). We are taking relationship and actor values (like aggression) between PC<-->NPC more into account, so the chances of being groped are more weighted. If you had sex with a customer, we will record if you skipped the sex scenes or not and forwarding the time accordingly (That means we are not forcing you to play a sex animation over the whole duration to get the same reward, but we are making it so, that the ingame time you spent will be (nearly) the same). In this mod I already had prepared that you would have to serve a specific amount of customers per hour but decided against it to release it, because if you are unlucky and started working in the night you could end up serving only one or two customers at your shift and would have failed the job.
