Finally have some time to install SexLab 1.35 and test out some reports that popped up since. Hope the people affected are still around. To start -

stack:

[EnchantQuest (A202734F)].enchantquestfrenzy.ResetFrenzy() - "EnchantQuestFrenzy.psc" Line 42
[alias PlayerRef on quest EnchantQuest (A202734F)].EnchantLoadGame.OnPlayerLoadGame() - "EnchantLoadGame.psc" Line 16
[01/01/2014 - 01:27:41PM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp1"

Should I be worried or not?

I'm not getting this error message. My -guess- is that it's caused by a savegame that was upgraded from SexLab 1.24 to 1.35 without a clean install, since that line in the script calls for the variable of the player's sexuality according to SexLab, and it's a variablethat was changed between SexLab 1.2x and SexLab 1.3x.

I would -guess- that it doesn't cause any damage, but it -might- mess with Enchantress' auto-gender sorting during orgies, as the gender sorting I scripted is heavily dependent on the player's gender and sexuality. If you're not seeing odd behavior when NPCs are sorted into couples (the default tries to pair men with women unless the character is gay according to SexLab), then I guess it's not a problem.

Like I said, all animations work fine. Even got a 3 and 5some with Falmers. The only exception is Harmony on Draugrs :)

Tested Harmony on Draugrs and it worked fine with the Master of the Mind perk. Make sure you have that perk in the top of the illusion tree.

a) If you cast pacify quite often you got the message "Debellas .. blablub" but nothing happens. Sometimes you get a rag doll effect (All Falmers fall to floor) on all Falmers but nothing happens. Most times you need to cast the spell a second or third time on all calmed Falmers to start a scene.

b ) Often in the mess of battle you cast pacify and hit all enemies but your follower is still swinging and hitting a enemy after you cast the spell. Sometimes a scene starts but your follow continues to kill the one she hit first. Sometimes the one turns agro interrupting the scene. (Like you got naked but nothing more.)

c) Don't know if it works like you planed but sometimes if you hit all with pacify one turn the attention to your follower and the rest ignores you (is only calmed) etc.

d) If pacify works to start a orgy .. shouldn't it work if you have mixed monster like Falmer and Spider.. The Spider takes one of you the rest the other ?

e) Hadn't one scene there pacify started a scene for me and my follower at once.

..

also most animation have a little time difference between your animation and the Falmers animation that lead to ugly clipping. (e.g. Their hand clips though your bud because he want to move youself to himself but your animation is a little behind that so he grabs into your character model. Not your problem i know)

a) I will try testing this but this sounds like there's more hostile combatants in your nearby vacinity.

b ) Will have to test this as well, the follower might be already in mid swing by the time the enemies are calmed. EDIT: Not managing to recreate this, my follower doesn't attack the Draugr I'm pacifying.

c) What is your character's sexuality as written in the SexLab diary/Journal? Also did you do a clean install of SexLab 1.35 or did you upgrade from 1.2x by copying files over?

d) That -can- happen.

e) The follower needs to be in Pacify's AoE to be affected, it's easier to have them involved by using Harmony rather than Pacify.

As for the animation clipping that's up to the animation maker to want to fix.

AFAIK the flaming familiar is considered by Skyrim a different creature than dogs or wolves and so the SexLab Framework won't support animating it.

I'll look into it then. Thanks for the answer.

edit: checked, SummonFlamingThrall(0009CE28) actor is WolfRace(0001320A) and EncWolf(00023ABE) template, it only uses SkinWolfFire(0010F5A5) armor and alternate packages'n'stuff.

Hmm that's interesting to know. I'm not ruling out changing Flaming Familiar at some point in the future but for right now I don't have enough free time to tinker with that spell. I have no idea if I can delay the familiar's explosion or not until after sex so I'd rather not try to mess with it until I have enough spell ideas for a next version of Enchantress... And currently I have no plans for any next version.

So after testing Enchantress with SexLab 1.35 everything seems to work right (I went through some bug reports one post above this one). If you're having any issues make sure you are using a save that had a clean install of SexLab 1.35 rather than simply 'files dragged over old ones from version 1.20'. If you're still having issues after a clean install let me know what they are.

Could you add sex thru dialog for friendly creatures like follower dogs and death hounds?

That or some sort of bending over animation for initiating it.

Somehow spells seems a bit weird IMHO..

Doing anything of the sort would be an entirely different mod, I did a lot of work on spell editing rather than dialogues.

Though that said creating such a separate mod is an idea I toyed with and decided against when I read that shane4244 is working on a dog follower and questing mod. Not sure how it's progressing since I read about it though.

Oh well, can't be helped. Just have to keep looking. :D

Been asking around but doesn't seem like a mod like that exists yet.

Thanks for this awesome mod. Just a quick question: after several bears, the upper left corner shows my character gets Beast Lover's Comfort, but there is no such BUFF/MGEF in active effect page. Any solution? Thanks.

I installed this mod with no problem but when I cast the calm spell all that happens is a vanilla spell effect. Is there any additional mods beside this and the ones needed to run sexlab?

Posted

You need to have all beastial animations installed .(Check sexlab please)

If you have you need to activate beastial in the MCM menus of sexlab.

Also calm works on animals and stupid monsters only, for humans you need the stronger spells. (Or activate simply mode in enchantress MCM menu.)

The two possible reasons of this I can think of is either you had the Rested buff from sleeping at least 1 hour, or you fast travelled after getting the buff which makes the ingame-time skip some game hours.

Very late edit: It dawned on me that Werewolf characters will also most likely not get the buff, as Werewolves cannot receive Rested buffs.

What creature/NPC did you cast the spell on? And were there any other nearby hostile creatures near you, or any combat for that matter? As an aside Bestiality Rape has nothing to do with SexLab, for a similar function mod that uses SexLab there's Defeat or Submit. (Defeat works with creatures, don't know about Submit).

I used the spell on a single wolf with no other hostile creatures in the area as well as a saber cat.. I will attempt to adjust the load order next. The animations are there because defeat works fine. I saw in one post some had FNISspells do I need this?

You don't need it. Are you using Enchantress version 2.3? Try entering the MCM for Enchantress and choose to reinstall Enchantress spells. Also, do you use any other mods that modify vanilla spells?

This mostly runs fine for me, but my Calm spell won't initiate sex with Death Hounds or Huskies. The former doesn't surprise me (I don't have Master of the Mind yet, they're undead right?), but the Huskies are just dogs... and it works fine on 'vanilla' dogs.

(I didn't have Dawnguard yet when I first made that character, but I do now; do I just need to reset something?)

Enchantress basically automatically supports any creature that the SexLab Framework itself supports, so if Calm won't work on this Huskies it means SexLab doesn't support Huskies (yet). Are this Huskies a custom modded race or something?

Hi,

I'm having the same problem that hoss156 was having.  The spells don't do anything beyond their vanilla effect.  I recently got a new hard drive and reinstalled all of my games on it, so I'm starting completely fresh.  Fresh installation of Skyrim, new game, SexLab installed with creature animations, ran FNIS.  I've tried reregistering the spells through the MCM and uninstalling and reinstalling the mod to no effect.  My installed SexLab version is 1.39 and this mod says it requires 1.30.  Could that be the problem?

No, I just didn't update the main post in a while. The version of SexLab required is 1.30 and up, I've been playing with version 1.39 for a few days lately and had very few issues.

  • Are you using any other SexLab mods, and do they work for you or not?
  • What targets are you casting your spells on, and which spells did you use?
  • Did you enable creature sex in the SexLab MCM?
  • Are you using any other mods that modify the vanilla spells in any way?

I don't think so? I'd hardly call Dawnguard a 'mod'... I opened up the console and clicked on a husky, their race just says 'Dog'... and it works on OTHER kinds of dogs.

Sorry for the delay getting back to you.  I got it working.  It was just my MCM settings.  I enabled them all while playing one character, then switched to another save.  The settings don't carry over when you do that, apparently.

Hey, Liuli !

Happy to see you're still around for helping and working on your mod !

I think there is something missing in your mod : an Enchantress Dance !

I thought about it when fighting a Frost Troll. After being somewhat beaten, as a last hope I used the key to shout and was sure it would do the Unrelenting Force shout so I could flee but instead of shouting, I triggered the TDF Prostitution Dance (which is triggered by the same key) and suddenly the Troll stopped fighting, even if it was obviously an enemy and enraged because of the fight it just stopped fighting to watch my PC dancing and I thought : this is really something that should be in the SexLab Enchantress mod ! An Enchantress Dance that tames all creatures/beasts in a small radius around the dancing PC... and when the dance animation ends, the sex animations start. I know there are other ways to get the same result but a taming dance should be a great function in your mod imho.

Well good to hear you got it working. :) Yeah each save has it's own individual MCM settings.

Well lately I'm pretty busy so I have no plans to make any changes to Enchantress past fixing any bugs that are discovered. If I'll end up with more free time down the line I think I'll be trying to start another mod rather than add more bells and whistles to Enchantress.

Though I doubt I'd use the dancing animations either way, I played around with the dances back when I played with an installation of Sanguine's Debauchery and to me all the dances that were imported to Skyrim either have horrible shoulder clipping with CBBE bodies or they seem ridiculous in a fantasy setting (the hip hop booty shake for example). Maybe I'd be a tad more interested if there were actually decent seductive dances which fit in a fantasy theme. :)

Animation isn't your thing, huh ? Isn't mine either... too bad.

And even if some dances are absolutely not lore friendly, I think you should try more dancing mods if curious, some aren't that bad !

Ran across an issue when running this mod, alas.

When trying to test the mod's effects on wolves, neither Harmony nor Calm triggered the sex animations. In fact, the wolves went hostile again immediately after Calm wore off and Harmony just left them walking in circles.

So, questions:

Is this mod incompatible with custom races such as Ningheim or RCotS?

Is it incompatible with Apocalypse Spells, although that just adds custom spells to the game?

Should I post my mod-load order?

If those custom races work with SexLab's framework they should work with Enchantress.

I do not know that Apocalypse Spells mod, but if it doesn't change vanilla spells it shouldn't clash with Enchantress.

Did you turn on Creature Sex in the SexLab MCM? Did you try to choose 're-register racial power and spells' in the Enchantress MCM? Do you have any issues starting sex scenes while using other SexLab mods?

So it's another post about compatibility with SkyRe, but of a different nature. I have Enchantress loading after SkyRe. The spells work in my game, but the problem is that SkyRe removes both of the perks for increasing illusion spell targets' level limits in favor of simply making illusion magic work on targets of any level, but only one time, meaning I have no way of increasing their level limits.

So my question is, might someone be able to help me remove the spells' level limits in the CK? I'm digging around in there right now, but I'm not entirely sure what I need to change.

Edit:Never mind - I circumvented the problem by editing the Novice Illusion perk in SkyRe_Main.esp to bolster the magnitude of Illusion spells as well.
