I finished the markarth jarl quest and found balazar some new clothes but i cant start the solitude or riften jarl quest, the dialogue isnt there. Is there a quest command to get past that? If so whats the id.

Hey, awesome mod. Truly amazing and fun.
I've had almost no problem with it during the whole playthrough too. 
I've just completed all of the emissary quests and just to make sure I was wondering if I completed everything that was released so far? 
The story doesn't continue past obtaining safe passage in the holds yet, right?

Also I don't know if this is a bug or something out of your control but I noticed that most of the time when saving and loading near "calmed" NPCs  from this quest (like the Forsworn part) doesn't calm them correctly upon loading or fails to check for costumes and such. Locking the quest.
A quick fix is to "disable" said npc and "enable" them back after combat status ends making sure to re-equip disguises where needed.

To start the Jarl quests, you have to have Balazar with you and Balazar must be in Dremora form. Are those conditions met?

No. Not yet. Also, a Whiterun Jarl quest will be added. Once that's done, the plan is to have another daedric-oriented quest.

Thanks for the note. In cases like the forsworn, the PC is added to the forsworn faction when the forsworn disguise is put on. Being put into a faction should be permanent (until removed). That has been working for me across saves. If I understand correctly, the forsworn are becoming enemies again after you reload a save. I can try also making the player faction friends with the forsworn faction. 

 

In hindsight, I probably should have disabled all the vanilla forsworn in the camp and replaced them with peaceful clones, but that's a lot of work and then the disguise feature wouldn't really work well. This is probably more true with the giants. I probably should have disabled the vanilla giants and replaced them with peaceful giants. I might go back and do this for the giants. It might make sense to even leave them in the peaceful state, for return PC visits.

Is there any chance you could create a patch for the "Palaces and Castles Enhanced SSE" mod?
I'm stuck on the "The Forzen Lands" questline after I have to follow Balazar and Elisif into the Blue Palace (where Balazar is supposed to summon Torygg's soul), but they don't go anywhere; They remain static at the Blue Palace entrance forever 😭

Edit: I also tried advancing the quest stages with console commands, but they still remain static...

I'm stuck on the Thalmor part, my character is supposed to do it with two dogs, but nothing happens.  She can ask the dogs for goodies, and get goodies from both, but nothing continues.  Should I have an available F-dog-dog animation loaded for the stage to continue?  After she talks to the wizard, the act description shows, both pages, but then diddly.

Yes you need F-Dog-Dog animations to work

Im having trouble in Redbelly mine. There is a marker for the wolf, the wolf is not there. I get two sets of descriptions about the spider scenes, but only the first scene plays out. The second one does not, and the bigger spider is attacking me during the scene and after. 

No Wolf, no second spider scene, no way to progress. Any way to setstage-skip this?

Edit: Also; there is a goat here that will not follow me out.

The huge spider is also invincible. I can drain its health but it does nothing.

Solution: Setstage BLZR_riften 280 got me through this step. Fast travel to riften stables and it should appear as a follower.

Glad you got past it. Do you have animations enabled for the spiders? There's different animations for the two different sizes in the cave.

I played your mod, which contains numerous scripts without any bugs. I also aspire to create my own mission mod. I've observed that YouTube offers numerous CreationKit tutorials. Could you provide some advice?tkx

Step 1 is just to get the Creation Kit up and running. You can't go wrong with the DarkFox tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bulS7I9UkN8&list=PLiPgFWIHsr8UEhwAeE0KW41y6gdrlANE7

Step 2 is to make a small non-Sexlab quest mod. I would again use the DarkFox tutorials for this.

Step 3 is to get Sexlab set up so that it will compile. I don't know of a good link for this, but if you Google "how to get sexlab to compile in the creation kit" you will get the right information from the Google AI.

Step 4 is to get Racemenu set up so that it will compile. Again, I don't know of a good link for this, but if you Google "how to get racemenu to compile in the creation kit" you will get the right information from the Google AI.

As you will see, getting everything set up right to compile Sexlab scripts is half the battle. Stuff that took me hours to figure out in the past is now answered in a few seconds with a quick AI query. Sure it's wrong 10% of the time, but it's still really helpful.

Hello Gristle, Sorry for butting in. I might be wrong, but wasn't Winterhold supposed to be the next BB quest? Whiterun was cool too, but I remember we were all throwing out ideas there. I'm a little curious what came of it. And I also decided to replay your mod, as I felt that there would be an update soon.😛

I don't recall the exact conversation, but my plan was always to do the five big cities (since that's where Balazar would gain the most influence), and then a daedric quest, before any adventures in the smaller towns. 

 

(But the next Animal Research update (coming soon) will take you to Winterhold and the College.)

Will there be anything more cooler than the story with Serana and Valerica? It was simply beautiful, so heartbreaking, especially the moment when you give the scroll to Valerica. That same day, Serana will end up in prison for a thousand years. It would be so cool if she remembered our face when we opened the tomb. It would be such a romantic moment. I understand that's impossible.

For Seran, it was practically a matter of maybe one day, but it would have to be cleverly added to the Dawnguard storyline. The best option would be to make it possible to talk to her about it only after completing the Dawnguard Story Line or after choosing vampires or Dawnguard. Because let's be honest, the PC could have looked similar to the one from several hundred years ago, or Serana wasn't sure if it was the same PC as several hundred years ago.

That's my favorite AR quest so far too. Later Serana comments after her awakening are on the "to do" list. But, like @killer905 mentioned, she probably wouldn't recognize the PC immediately upon awakening (she's already confused from the long sleep + lingering effects of viewing Elder Scroll, per Valerica), but would gradually remember over time. It might be romantic for the realization to be in the castle courtyard during Chasing Echoes. Then Valerica could also recognize the PC in the next quest, Beyond Death, and it would also be in time for some further romance in the Ancestor Glade in the quest after that - Unseen Visions.

 

As for anything cooler in the next AR update, I don't want to give anything away, but I think it turned out well. But probably should move any further conversation about it into the Animal Research thread.

Yeah, that's why I said it's impossible. This kind of addition is more necessary when using the Serana add-on. You can't build a relationship with her in a normal game. Todd Howard is an asshole.

And modders can change that ;3 It's planned, but as I wrote, you have to choose ‘when’ Serana or PC in the style of ‘oh, it was you a few hundred years ago’.

While in prison, talk to the guard when he passes by your cell. After leaving, you can go and get the weapon ‘on the wall’ and kill him. Do not forget to take the items from the chest on the same level as the cells.

Ok i need some assistance don't know if it have been asked before but I am stuck on the pit bitch quest. I am sitting in the cage and have  no idea what to do cannot talk to the guard the wolves do nothing. Not sure what I am suppose to do.

Quest Talk to Sulga about the white wolf. I go into the house, but Sulga doesn't talk about the wolf. What could be the matter? There's also a fox running around the house
