Any help on getting Balazar to reappear? Or am I just screwed? Cause I can not find him anywhere, and the Summon Spell does not seem to work. Also console commands also don't seem to work.

Thanks for the help. But nothing seems to work. Which is super weird. Since I haven't added or removed anything from my modlist. I tried older saves, and I even reinstalled the mod. Guess I'll just start from scratch again. LOL

On new save Balazar also not show up?

Hello. I really like this mod. I'm having a blast with the quests. Only one thing is a bit annoying. I am the type to play solo with defeat, so if possible i would love the options to make Balazar wait for me at a spot and a summoning spell for him for when i need him. This would allow exploration and normal gameplay and at the same time allow more natural progression of the Balazar Part I and II quest within normal gameplay. Thank you for the wonderful mod.

Edit: It looks like its not working or is incompatable with SLACS or CumSwallowNeeds addon or maybe even SLSO, even after swallowing I still have the debuff 

The magic effect is hidden in the UI. In the next version (to be posted in the next couple of days), I'll put the magic effect in the UI so you can monitor it. The "Cum Armor" magic effect uses the Sexlab variables that track the two levels of cum layers in the three positions on the body. I don't think SLACS updates these, so it would not be compatible. Nothing will break, but you won't get the armor bonus from cum layers.

 

As for the buff/debuff, that is controlled by the global variable BLZR_CumStatus. So, you can always check the value of this in the console with "getglobalvalue BLZR_CumStatus". Basically, it decreases over time and increases when you answer 'yes' to the pop-up message. No other mod should affect this. Please try tracking this variable before and after a sex scene to verify that it is working right.

Glad you like it. You can ask Balazar to wait in dungeons. He will then rejoin you when you exit the dungeon.

 

As for outdoor adventuring, you would have to dismiss him (and then summon him back when you need him). You can do this after you help him get his revenge on Clavicus Vile.

This one's a little different. It's centered around the (vanilla, but unused) Windhelm pit and its (vanilla, but unused) pit fighters. So, more fighting than usual (but sex comes into play as well). Fair warning: The Windhelm quest uses the (unused) vanilla Windhelm pit worldspace, and also uses (more or less) the vanilla cell location in the Windhelm worldspace that is named for the exterior of the Windhelm pit. However, it's possible a Windhelm city overhaul mod has used this space for something else, or otherwise has conflicts. I have not tested with any Windhelm city mods, so be prepared for possible conflicts with any Windhelm city mods.

 

Also, I'm now recommending Billyy's animations and the mod (in the Windhelm quest) often tries to call a specific Billyy's animation. If it is not present, an animation will be called using tags instead. Calling specific animations allows the use of tables, chairs, walls, masts, crates, etc. for sex (using the Billyy's invisible furniture animations). In some cases, the NPC comments will also track the action in the scene very well. If you don't have the Billyy's animation called, it will still work, but you'll just end up on the floor or in a bed.

 

Finally, there are scenes where you have a squad of fighters following you. If you get an objective to wait for them to assemble, a little patience might be required for them to assemble (and potentially finish fighting). Also, for this reason, I would leave other followers behind.

 

EDIT: Final note - I had intended to include post-quest fights and sex in the pit in this update, but it was going to take more time and I needed a mental break. So, the pit is quiet after the quest for now, but I plan to reopen it for the PC (as a spectator) in a future update. To be clear, I don't have any plans to reopen it for the PC to fight in after the quest.

I have over 40 thousand animations, and I don’t have any builds without animations from Billy.

I'll go play it on the old version for now, since I haven't completed Balazar at all at 1170, I'm stuck on Animal Research

Yes, I found a bug, and it's critical. Your suspicions were confirmed. The situation is this: on the island, when Hela calls her polar bear for our heroine to have sex with him, a confirmation dialog appears and the animation starts, along with your text insertion. 

And then there's a black screen, like when teleporting to another location. I don't understand what the hell is going on, but the game freezes completely. Important addition, this was tested on version 1.6.640. I haven't tested it on version 1170 yet and I won't check it anytime soon, I don't have much time. This is the only bug; no others have been detected. The only issue is that the crowd in the arena has lost their face textures; they're all black. But... maybe that's because of my additions to change NPC appearances in cities, or maybe I just need to install the mod higher than the faces. Basically, it's just minor stuff.

This is a great mod and everything seems to be working fine. I'm looking forward to downloading this new update and doing the Windhelm quest. I guess after this there's just Whiterun left? Giant's maybe? Are you going to do anything with the DLC on Solsthiem?

Hi great mod, been waiting for it eagerly,  I do have an issue at the end after talking with Huki the quest brakes down for me and balazar is nowhere to be found even if I summon him through console the conevrsation ends

I'm seeing the same. (Despite playtesting this section a dozen times.) Something has become corrupted, and I can't figure out what. I have no choice but to revert to the prior internal version, which is missing the post-quest content. This means I'll need to recreate some work. So, I've removed v0.95 for now and will post a new v0.951 as soon as possible.

 

EDIT: Plot twist. Now the prior (internal) version is also doing the same (hanging up on bear sex). (Despite also being playtested many times.) To help troubleshoot, has anyone who downloaded v0.95 gotten the bear sex to work on the island?

I reposted v0.95 because the problem appears to be a conflict with DynDOLOD. Any sex outside on the island would cause a system hangup. I uninstalled DynDOLOD and everything works fine. The island does not have any LOD files, so I'm unsure what the issue is. For now, I can only recommend disabling DynDOLOD when on the island.

Thanks. I'm not sure what you mean "at the end". When you finally leave the pit to go talk to Huki in the pit spectator area, after a short conversation with Huki, the Jarl should be standing right next to her and should turn and address you. There should be at most a 1-2 second delay. Is the Jarl there? Does he force greet you? 

 

Anyway, this conversation is only the end of Part I (of II) of the Windhelm quest. You meet Balazar again after the conversation with the Jarl when you exit the pit marketplace area into the main area of Windhelm.

 

EDIT: Also, do the pit spectators have black faces?

On **LE** I had no issues (no freezes/greyface, ect) other than a couple spots where I somehow janked up some quest stages so they wouldn't progress right (Killing things in the pit too quickly [accidentally killing the non released thing in a cage] *This did not always break the quest though, sometimes just using wait it'd get back on track*) (and at the snake island where I challenged the boss to the fight but hit them with a DoT that lasted to long and broke their heading to the next objective) 

Oh and did have an issue where when SL scenes were starting I would fall through the floor, but it wasn't repeatable and happened only a couple times. Was odd given it's something I pretty much never see occur anymore since I turned off 'match player height' ages ago, but it didn't break anything either. However that specific issue could lead to weirdness if you get teleported because of it to a cell's origin, including but not limited too physics breaking and a black screen (didn't happen to me but could).

Yes the Jarl is there he force greets me, but than the game just cuts him off, and there is no further dialogue, about the quest, just vanila conversation options, no black faces everything else looks normal

Hi, i encountered a different issue. After talking to captain, I'm sent to recruit pit fighters. Marker point to blood works but when i enter i have no dialogue with them and marker points me back to the new outside area (courtyard where the spectators stay and it connects blood works and pit) and from there back to bloodworks and it just goes in loop.

Well, maybe I didn't look through setstage, but it seems to me that the game will freeze anyway. Maybe it's just the location? Then again, the scenes with Hela in the tower worked well. Despite everything, I enjoyed the quest, especially the twist with Hela; I didn't expect her to be such a feisty girl. Gristle, a question purely for a professional: do you only use Creation Club to create these mods? I've decided to give it a try myself, currently at the scripting stage, and I'm planning to start soon. It's also a quest mod, but conceptually it will be similar to several existing ones. I hope I have the perseverance and patience to pull it off.
