couple issues i noticed so far running the solitude quest, spesifically thalmor party part

 

after the animal show, the wolf should turn on that thalmor woman, but after the npc dialogue and the message box desciption, it gets stuck and dont trigger the npc-creature sex scene. unsure whys the case, could be some sexlab PPlus issue. but i fixed it with set stage to advance it.

 

the next part, where PC follows into that torture device room, the "hanging horse" is missing. like, that x cross is there, the metal chair thing is there, the barrel where the altmer girl gets tied on is there, but not the wooden horse or whatever(which should be right after x-cross). i advanced the stage by sitting at a random normal chair. 

 

then next, PC should follow that thalmor upstairs, and tie him to the bed for a blowjob. but there is no bed... so stuck again. had to setstage again.

 

it seems like theres some wierd missing furniture going on, any clues what could conflict? its really weird to me cuz as i understand, the whole embassy party interior should be a copy of the original, right? so nothing should affect it, right?

 

 

also, i suppose its normal to get arrested while searching for the ring for the frist time right? then its just fighting our way out of prison? is there any alt-path that wouldnt require fighting, like whoring out of it or sneaking out?

There are no sex scenes outside the walls in the Solitude or Markarth Jarl quests, if that's what you mean by "outskirts".

I mean like the dwarven centurion scene outside of Markarth gate and the horse scene near the stairs of Solitude where Jaree Ra stands aorund.

yeah i do have Zaz 8.0+, but upon further inspection i did noticed its one i had installed since 2022, and there is a difference with the 2023 8.0+ which this mod actually calls for...

 

i just saw the requirements for 8.0+ and thought i was good and didnt bothered downloading the 2023 version

 

damn its hard to follow these version numbers lol

Sorry. I had the Jarl quests in mind and completely forgot about the priestesses quests. I don't run the JK mods (or any city overhaul mods, really) so I can't say for sure. But the horse scene occurs in an open high-traffic area, so I'd be surprised if JK added anything there. Same for the centurion. This is open space right in front of the stables and in front of the stairs to the front gate. So, another high-traffic area. I can't imagine any city overhaul placing anything there.

i happen to run all the JK outkirt and city mods. i did not notice any issue with any Balazar quest. i did both the solitude horse scene and markarth centurion scene without issue

Hi Gristle, I don't want to irritate you with an intrusive question, but... is there a mod (BB) update coming soon? 👉 🥹 👈 And I have a small request. I came across quests from Fame comments, they seem to be bug-free, but sometimes the script does not work right away. In general, what I mean is, is it possible to find out the FC mod tag? So that I can help myself with the console.

Don't expect an update sooner than 3-4 months. He is currently working on the Animal Research update, but I don't know what he plans to do after AR.

Does anyone know how to show Balazar the Pride and Paragons book? Just got out of Apocrypha and have it in my inventory but I cant find anyway wo trigger the next part of the quest.

I don't think so, it is just knowledge for Balazar to use on Elesif.

If your talking about the reward book, you have to be on Solsthiem to use it.

 

I, fortunately had no real issues doing the entire playthrough over the last few days.  @Gristle @killer905

 

Near the end of there journey, Balazar's seed has an unusual effect on Raven, giving her Daedric horns, as well as Bimbofication, Bimbos of Skyrim.  She was already a beast whore, The Animal Mansion, and will go on to help the Animal Scholar.

Using this mod with Bimbos of Skyrim, I wondered is there any way you could add a dialogue to ask Balazar to have sex with any other NPC, which would infect them with the Bimbo curse and start their transformation.

Other mods allow the result but the player has to be lovers with their followers but then it is a threesome, which is ok at times.

I was looking for a way to just have Balazar to have sex with an NPC of my choosing.   

Just asking not expecting anything.

Once again im at a part of a quest that I can't complete, I need to ask Sylgja about the white wolf, ive done her whole other questline with her mother, cleared out the mine and exhausted all other dialogue options with her but nothing about the white wolf.  Am I missing something here?

Found the answer from some research, fox animations werent loading (or not installed) so I had to use "setstage BLZR_Riften 240" to advance the quest

The boss raider in craigslane cavern doesnt move he just stands there im not sure whats happening but is there away to pass it?

The dialogue to give Balazar the Pride and Paragons book only has two conditions: 1) you are talking to Balazar (in Dremora form) and the quest stage for the BLZR_Solitude3 quest is 100. That's the stage that's set when you leave Apocrypha. So, if you left (moved to the bridge above Solitude), you should be on that stage.  You might check your quest stage with "player.sqs BLZR_Solitude3". If nothing else works, you can advance the stage manually to the next stage with "setstage BLZR_Solitude3 120". That's the stage that's set after the conversation about the book.

What stage are you on? You can check with 'player.sqs BLZR_Riften2'

i remember i started it a year ago or so. the dog could not be prevented to fight in combat. i dont like to play with dogs in combat, they take the skillpoints  away my pc would get without them.  is that still the case ? The dog (which is not really a dog) goes away after the first quest line. But then you have another (humanoid) follower for the next quest line. After that, you can dismiss the follower. But for the first two questlines (Priestesses, and Balazar's Revenge). there's no way to dismiss the follower.  Being tied to these creatures is really part of the initial story, so it wouldn't make sense to be able to dismiss them in the early stages of the quest.

 

Edit: I just realized you were talking about combat and not necessarily dismissing the dog. I did tone down the dog's aggresiveness, so it shouldn't rush off and attack things anymore. But it will still join fights.

 

If you want to make the dog unaggressive, you can just open the console, click on the dog, and type 'setav aggression 0'
