Also, what is happening when I call an animation with a tag "FF" from SexLab when SexLab is set to restrict animations based on gender and the PC is male? For example, with the PC and Dinya or Danica? What kind of animations are you getting? 

 

It works fine for me as a male player so far. I'm up to the Solitude part of the quest. 

 

Normally, I think when Sexlab can't find an animation, I think it reverts to a wider search. So you might be seeing inappropriate animations, or repeated animations as it may keep reverting to the same one. To get around this, you can either force your male player to use female sexlab positions, or you can relax the search terms in Sexlab and turn off gender-based animation filtering. There's a couple ways of enabling female-based positions for male players. I know SexLab Eager NPCS has an option to toggle it for the player, but I've seen that option in several mods. There may be an option in Sexlab itself somewhere in its many menus. You also have to watch out for mods that reset the gender, like Hoodies, which will keep turning on male-based animations if you use their schlongs. You can disable the schlong-based gender assignment in their MCM.

Ran into some more issues. When you have to deal with the rock creature nothing happens. Same thing with the Dwarven one. Also, can't get the Jarls to talk about agreeing to let him roam in their cities. Stopped playing at that point....

Do you have any animations for the stone creature and Dwarven? at this point the mod does not include the possibility of convincing Jarls to let Balazar free into the city.

I only have Billyy_Annimations plus CO More Creatures downloaded... Didn't know about the Jarls thing though... Thank you for letting me know about that...

Billyy's has a few animations for the Atronach and one animation for the Centurion, but they are both in the "Constructs" portion of the mod. Perhaps that portion was not installed? And, as killer905 mentioned, the Jarl quests are not in the mod yet. They will be rolled out one at a time in new versions of the mod.

I usually check all the boxes except futa in that section. I re-installed it and checked those boxes again. One thing that I did notice that is not dealing with this mod is that the Centurion doesn't attack along with the Thalmor plus the Werewolves/horses/gargoyles are invisible which is a mesh issue in which I don't know how to fix.

I hope to post it by the end of the year. I have to stop and learn something new every quest stage or two to make the mod do what I want, so it's slow going. Hopefully it will speed up as I learn more, but right now it's one of those two steps forward, one step backward things. After avoiding it for a year, I finally learned how to do "scenes" so NPCs can actually interact with each other now. (It was actually one of the easier things.) And I learned how to trigger things when a Sexlab animation is over. And, I'm getting a bit better at force greets. So, the quests should be smoother now.

I can just have the entrance take you to the duplicate cell at a certain quest stage, so it will seem like you are just going into the normal location. Or maybe I would just pull this trick with the second zone in Shimmermist (the Grotto), and not the first. The second zone has a lot of interesting stuff, like falmer, skeletons, chauruses, centurions.

 

 

 

 It was SexLab Stories that placed the sexbot there.

I'm loving the mod so far. I'm always happy to see new kinky quest mods that give the PC something to do around the sex and bondage frameworks. So far, I haven't had any problems with the movement of the quests, which is great. So many mods wind up breaking their quests or those of other mods. 

 

I am on the second stage of the quest and am heading to windhelm right now to find the elven woman with the face tattoos. I have had a problem with Balazar'z collar. I'm assuming it is a zaz item. The problem is that it doesn't work well with a lot of other mods because it just isn't recognized. I have crime mods that punish PCs for not having a collar, but it doesn't recognize Balazar's collar as one, so constant fines. There is a license mod which also has a similar problem as it doesn't recognize the collar. I us Devious Followers and on there there is a deal that requires the PC to wear a collar but it doesn't recognize it. Then there is the issue that whenever a DD collar is placed on the character it just removes the BC, so it isn't really functioning in the game at that point. The only good thing about that is that it is a workaround for the other problems. I'm hoping that the mod doesn't check for BC being equipped because that would be a problem.

 

It would be helpful to have a DD variant for the collar as an option for the many people that use the DD framework.

I went back some pages but I'm not seeing the post from killer on this. Is this referring to the quests where you have to talk to he jarl's to get Balazar free passage? Because I was just coming here to ask about that quest specifically any why I don't have any dialogue with any of the jarls for that.

The Pet Collar in the mod uses Slot 45, which is the standard slot for collars (and which both ZaZ and DD use). As for keywords, the Pet Collar has the "zbfWornCollar" and "zbfWornDevice" keywords. There's another ZaZ keyword for removable items, which it does not have. I would think that would be enough for other mods to detect it, but I can add the DD keyword as well, which I believe is "zad_DeviousDevice".

After that, another quest involving conflict with a different daedric prince faction. Some day, I'd love to extend the adventure into Oblivion, if I can learn enough to do it in a decent way.

hmmm, @Gristle 

I came up with an idea that would rather be from the "Optional" category. Well, if we have that Balazar wants to cum in priestesses then why not something similar from people in Skyrim Daedric?
Examples:
Hircine - Aela
Azura - Aranea Ienith
Malacath - Borgakh
Molag Bal - Serana and Valerica
Namira - Eola (But we can kill her during quest)
Nocturnal - Karliah


For the rest of the Deadric princes I can't remember if there are any, but you can always add ^^

Technically, it wasn't Balazar's idea, it was a nasty trick of Clavicus Vile. So, a quest where he goes after all of these NPCs might be hard to establish a good reason for. I'd rather do stuff with the other daedric factions one at a time (like the Clavicus Vile quest). But the idea that there's a bunch of NPCs that are very associated with other daedric princes is great suggestion. There's wasn't such an NPC for Clavicus Vile, so I didn't really think of this.

 

Some of these NPCs are easy to use, because they're unkillable and around all the time. But Eola could be dead and Serana and Valerica could be entombed/trapped. Serana is my favorite NPC and I would love to use her, especially as an opponent, but how do I deal with the fact that she might be a) stuck in a tomb, or b) already following the PC after killing Harkon? Any ideas?

Wait... there must be a reason? :3 We have to deal with Daedra, and they have a desire to harm mortals ^^ But Balazar may want the same as with other priestesses, because why not? Who is forbidden to him? Hircine? Muhehe...

 

Serana and Valerica could be entombed/trapped? Mhmm, as far as I remember, after killing Harkon, Valerica can return to the castle, and Serana stays in the Dawnguard headquarters...

 

Mhmmm #TeamSerana :3 I somehow prefer Aela (Good female doggo) :D

But of all the NPCs a PC can follow, Serana has more character than all the rest of the NPCs combined.


Here may actually be a problem with Serana.

As for possible proposals, I have nothing in mind at the moment.

It wasn't actually mentioned that he had a sister. But they all might as well have been hiding it because she escaped centuries ago and is a devoted Molag Bal.

I see Balazar as more Lawful Evil, acting rationally, and even with honor, but with little regard for those weaker than him. He worships a prince of destruction, but even Mehrunes Dagon (according to legend) has a logic to his destruction (to break Alduin's curse on him by destroying everything he has stolen from Alduin).

Yes. But that means that PCs would have to finish the very long DG quest to play this quest, and wouldn't be able to play with a new PC.

True, not mentioned. But Serana never says she has no siblings either. Serana does say it was pretty lonely growing up in the castle, but with vampire lifespans, siblings could grow up and move out (or escape as you suggest) centuries apart. Who knows, maybe the sister was entombed somewhere else? A sister could, as you mention, have a completely different attitude towards the family and Molag Bal.

Ahhh, that's what you meant :D You're right, but usually people play on a save where they already have most or all of them unlocked.

Well, since it's now the end of the year, this post deserves an update. The Riften quest is almost done, but of course I've run into another programming issue. I expect to solve this and be able to finish the Riften quest in a couple of days. In the meantime, here's a couple of teaser screenshots from playtesting:
