They should follow your PC if your PC is naked. But they are pretty slow. You have to give them a bit of time, and some follow at a distance. The Stone Quarter is the rest of Windhelm (everything but the Gray Quarter where the Dark Elves live). Basically, you have to lead the skeevers around people who aren't Dark Elves. As wHOaMiEH mentioned, the market is a great place for that. Edited December 6, 2023 by Gristle 1

Also, the next stage of quests are more about building political power with the Jarls, but this could be something for the following stage. Can be left as "optional"  2 hours ago, blahity said: Also it might not make sense if you go vampire side instead of dawnguard side. Its effectively your castle after Harkon's death, doesn't make sense that a bunch of new vampires would roll in to set up shop. However, brand new "Houndmaster" and "Gargoyle Crafter" NPCs would fit in on the vampire side and a "Troll Tamer" would fit in with the dawnguard side. It is also possible to do unique quests for the vampires and dawnguard (depends on which side you finished). But the fact here you may be right, but most players consider the castle after completing the quest as abandoned.

That way the quest could also be independent of the college questline. Could make a good repeatable quest too. 1 hour ago, Gristle said: 3 hours ago, wHOaMiEH said: Falkreath - PC must track down and deal with escaped werewolf Related to Hircine, or totaly new quest? That could involve the Jarl or could involve some other NPC(s) in Dawnstar. -Falion does have an opening line that could be expanded upon, indeed. -You are correct. This does make it more feasible. College after all almost had another catastrophe with the eye of Magnus. It would be logical that he vents that frustration on a PC Archmage. The nature of "venting" could go in any direction. -Wish you luck with logistics on that one(anyone who fights with creation kit has my unironic and outmost respect). The pit itself could have an expansion upon expansion(story/gp wise). Once PC comes out on top(being the best fighter) there could be repeatable challenges and so on. Lost battles equal to serving the winner/audience. Too many lost battles equal to PC just becoming a cum bucket for both the fighters and the audience....as said, it can go just about anywhere. -The unrepentant werewolf could be an excellent other side of the coin compared to Sinding. Someone who premeditates their hunt... -You do have a point. Will look up upon Forsworn lore and see what could be included to broaden the horizons above Everyone=bad forsworn=only hope for the Reach. -Well it could start with Elesif giving incentive to Sybile and the other guy to help you. Consider one of the solutions not only being daedric princes, but one of the divines themselves(Kynareth or Talos)? Now for the daedric princes, that could cover some interesting fronts. Perequisite being that the player finished their quest(sheo=lunny toons type of errand, Azura=while grateful for your help with cleansing the star, she gives you another errand). This does involve a metric ton of work so...not so sure it could be easily implemented. -You are correct. There is no need to oversimplify or overcomplicate thing.  Have to once again sing praises about your work. One of the rare mods where you can really choose the alternate paths and how your PC is going to behave(hero, reluctant or a degenerate). Not to mention npcs actually commenting upon your deeds and tittles. Keep up the great work. If you need more comments, say the word and Ill make you a list to cherry pick through. 1

Go to market area and around the inn, and talk to nords, any nords you see, only some of them will trigger an attack. try the blacksmiths for example, I think that triggered an attack for me.

I like to make quests that use at least some vanilla locations and at least some vanilla NPCs -- to sort of anchor the quest in the Skyrim world we all know -- but that invites mod conflicts of course. And other conflicts, for example non-essential NPCs might be dead. For something like the above, I would likely just create a new college member. I have to admit I've never run any college expansion quests. I'll have to check them out and see what they change. 22 hours ago, MereFJ said: Windhelm - PC must entertain the crowd in the Windhelm Pit - let's bring back bearbaiting - Ouch, not everybody has the windhelm pit installed. No problem there. The pit is in the vanilla game as an unused asset, you just can't get there without a mod or console command. And it also has a couple of unfinished textures, and unfinished NPCs, etc. So, this mod would enable the pit setting (and clean it up a bit) without any other requirements. Here's what it looks like without any edits. Nice cages for prisoners or creatures. You can visit with "coc WindhelmPitEntrance".  Edited December 10, 2023 by Gristle 1
blahity Posted December 9, 2023 Posted December 9, 2023 (edited) @GristleMaybe the Jarl needs to get revenge on Colette, provides you with a "Scroll of Summon Dragon Priest" but since she's a powerful restoration mage she takes control of it and uses it to teach you a lesson! She decides to keep the Dragon Priest around so she can use it on you for fun in the future. You report back that you "used the scroll in front of Colette" so the Jarl is satisfied. The reason for the revenge could be the Jarl caught an STD, Colette treated him, and in keeping with her character blabbed to everyone she met about it. Also I believe Colette is an Essential NPC. akockl2 Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 (edited) would it be possible for the minimum value of the MCM attack frequency slider to be lower than 6 in the future? i'd ideally like to set it as 4~ hours, since 6 is a bit too long for me as i play with a low timescale. one other change i'd like would be if you set the the animation as aggressive/rape so that it would count as rape by other mods (love sickness, bimbos of skyrim, sl survival etc) when the player chooses to resist balazar's advances, as well as other events such as the one where you lead a troll to a ship Edited December 11, 2023 by akockl2

So, the quests should all work regardless of whoever is the Jarl. Also, Elisif isn't replaced (she switches sides), so at least in Solitude I can do something focused on her.

Is the troll somehow getting onto the ship other than via the gangplank? I would think the navmesh would make that impossible. That should make the troll hit the trigger box. I could make this trigger box bigger if needed.

Been trying for the last 3 hours with no luck. Re-downloaded the mod, re-started the mod, went across the gangplank over 20 times with no luck. If you can figure out something different like instead of an invisible trigger box like maybe a lever to pull that would be great. I would love to really try this quest because so far up until the troll I really like it....
