Devious Devices NG

Starting from version 0.3.9, the skirt speed reduction setting in the mcm settings (DD) does not respond. Whether I increase or decrease the setting, the speed remains the same. Is there a problem on my end? However, this setting works normally in version 0.2.7.

Hello !

I just went from LE to SE, but I have issues with DD NG version on the Restrictive Boots.
With the DD SE version, the boots are like on LE, thigh boots, but with NG version, the boots are limited below knee (screen attached).

Is there some kind of option to activate to see the thigh version ? My guess would be that the nude body would have a slot that is preventing the upper to be display (like with hobble dress for example).
I don't know if it's related, but i'm using BHUNP, and in the index order, I have: 1. DD SE, 2. DD NG, 3. DD BHUNP sliders. I don't have the issue if I desactivate DD NG, so the issue is coming from this mod.

Thanks for your help !

I don't know if it's related, but i'm using BHUNP

Slots and model for these boots was updated in one of the recent releases, so it's entirely possible that the BHUNP sliders for it weren't accomodated for this change.

Whoever made the BHUNP sliders for it, you should raise this to them. CBBE 3BA is what most everyone uses even among the contributors, and that's the body mod that's supported first and foremost.

Are you trying to say that one girl can no longer wear her favorite boots ?
That's so cruel ! What am I gonna do now ?! 😭

Thank you for your answer anyway !

Alright one more thing I remember is that the DD SE patch having some records related to these boots. See if it's properly overridden by the empty plugin of the same name from DDNG, or if it's disabled in the plugin load order. If that doesn't fix the issue, I'm afraid it's a BHUNP bodyslide problem indeed... 😕

Thanks, that seems to work.

Seems like it doesn't save the configuration, as I seem to have to change it every time I load up the game. Is there a way to make the change persistent?

Make sure you click "save submod config" after you make the changes. That should save them to a "user.json" file somewhere in the OAR directory. If you're using MO it'll probably end up in your overwrite folder.

Bug report:

Ok, I upgraded from 0.3.7 to 0.4.0 and thought things were fine. BUT ... I was having sound issues. Every time I loaded a save, my sound effects volume would max out despite my skyrimprefs.ini settings. I finally tracked the problem to this version of this mod and this script - zadMufflingStateScript.pex.

I removed the script and my sanity is slowly being restored as now I can load the save and not have to continually adjust my volume settings.

Thank you! It solves my problem.

Thought you added OStim compatibility, why does it still require SL? And why isn't SL listed in the requirements for this?

My friend, we're all playing a game released in The Year of Our Lord 2,011 AD.  It's probably okay.

Tried to find a solution here but could not find it. Noticed some other folks having the same problem.

The long mittens and some other restraints still allow the use of magic, this should not be possible.

Weapons etc. do not work as intended so no problems there.

Has anyone got the solution for the magix problem?

@krzp @ihatemykite I want to draw your attention to the comment I just posted here.

The quick version: there was a typo somewhere in zadLibs.psc in a mod event name.  DD/DDNG is sending "DeviceActorOrgasmEx", UD is sending "DeviceActorOrgasmExp" (which is what the DD comments said to use).

It would be good if the mod teams could agree on what to send. At least one mod in my order has script comments indicating that they also ran into the problem, and moved back to the old "DeviceActorOrgasm" event to work around it.

Hello,
My game version is 1.6.1170. I installed the mod according to the instructions, meaning the original mod and all its requirements. I used Bodyslide, updated Nemesis, and disabled the esp from the original mod. For some reason, some of the "devices" are not showing on my character, for example, ropes, shoes, etc. But other parts are displayed without any problems. What could be the issue?

Two possibilities come to mind

1) you're new to all this and the output from Bodyslide goes into the wrong directory. On first call it should have prompted you about the location of your Data directory. If you're having other games installed, it should have even asked for which one you're setting this up.

2) you're using some non-vanilla race and BS doesn't know how to handle it.

If I understand you correctly, you are referring to setting the game directory during the first launch of BodySlide—it must be configured correctly because in all other cases, BodySlide performs its functions properly (3BA, armor fitting, etc.). As for the race—no, I am using a vanilla Dunmer.

I don't want to use SL either so I am doing a few tests atm. Gonna rip out the SL as master. I already did that with licenses player oppression. Is it gonna work for what I want it for I don't know but will see.

I am having the same issue. The problem is that the mod author talks about there being an experimental OStim patch but there is no link to it.

Be more than happy to. I just need a clue as to where I can find the patch(es). 😜

That screenshot is from the final page of the fomod when you're installing DDNG. You can either reinstall DDNG and check that box this time, or manually install the files from the "16 Ostim" folder in the 7z archive.
