If you are asking this because you are looking for a template to use, this might work for you just fine, put your high heel keyword in place of the "NoModesty" keyword here and put the appropriate "zad_DeviousBoots" at the end of it (or the formID of the specific item you are looking to modify) and you are just about done. Don't forget to name the file with "_KID" at the end of the filename.

Hii everyone! I'm playing Skyrim with some mods installed, and I've run into an issue while using the "Devious Devices" mod. Every time I launch the game with the mod enabled, I get the following message on screen that is seen in the screenshot

 

I've tried searching for a solution, but I haven't been able to find anything that helps.

Has anyone encountered this before or know how I can fix it? I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Also: is this an ongoing save that you installed DD into or updated the mod from an earlier version if it?

I think the furniture minigame is broken in VR; I tried interacting with the device using every button on my Touch controllers and nothing happened. Then I tried pressing the "e" button on my keyboard, and it crashed. Is anyone else having that problem?

Alright I have issue with gags, for no reason mouth not open anymore and noticed that there is no other expression, the face doesn't move at all, I have Mfgfix and open animation replacer installed any idea what im missing?

 

I'm not sure but I think i didn't even update install mod any other mod since it worked last time :(

Compared to the most recent discord release, LL's 0.4.2 has one tiny bugfix for something something boxbinder - other than that, it's pretty much the same RC2 for two weeks ago under the hood 🙂

Found a really weird issue that nobody seems to have been reporting recently. I had DD-NG 0.4.1 and everything was fine. Downloaded 0.4.2, removed 0.4.1, installed 0.4.2, and deployed. Ran Bodyslide. Launched into a recent save and while wearing nothing DD related, I had sound issues.

I could no longer hear high heel sounds. I tried talking to an NPC and I could not hear him speak. I re-downloaded in case of a corruption issue. 
I then deleted NG and redeployed 0.4.2. I installed the newer 0.4.2 download and redeployed. Same issue. Audio was messed up. I could hear music and DBVO character voice...just no heel or NPC responses. I even tried on a different save...still audio issues.
I removed 0.4.2 and reinstalled 0.4.1. Audio is back to normal again. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this.
I've attached what vortex provides as load order but this IS with 0.4.1 if you're interested. 
Not urgent as I can play as is, just wanted to keep up to date.

There's no sound because the mod changed the volume settings. You just need to reset them. I was also scared at first, until I checked everything.

I noticed that the Ballet Boots (Tight) (Short) have texture issues when worn with the Catsuit (Tight). The legs are cut off above the boots in the suit (this may also be an issue with Rubber Suits and other..., but I haven't tested it). I used BodySlide, so don't remind me about it 😛

Hello,

 

i have a Problem with Devious Lore. I dont know if that is the right topic to post this. 

Whenever i open a crate, for example the dwarven vitals or the east crate, it does not equip a single thing. The items appear in my inventory but nothin else happens.

I can manually equip them without any Problem.

Everything else is working fine. Cursed loot and so on can equip things.

With normal DD it works just fine. I tried reinstalling everything, same result.

I tried troubleshooting this for a couple of days now, but found no result.

Maybe someone encountered the same problem and found a fix.

So why don't you then ask in the DL thread?

 

If the items are stored in your inventory or equipped on your body is based on your MCM settings. To have them getting equipped, you arousal needs to be high, and the MCM setting reasonably low. Oh, and set the ratio for random enchanted gear vs DDs accordingly.

I also noticed that sounds were much more muted afoer installing 0.4.2

 

But which Volume controls are you referring to, pls?  I changed the one in the DD MCM but that doesn't make much difference, from what I can hear

 

Any help would be welcome!

 

I just realised that it was the MAIN Game Settings Volumes that had been almost completely zero'd out,  three of them in my case eg, Voice, etc   Leaving this here in case any other eejit as daft as me finds this helpful 😝

A system integrated into DD. This is what's responsible for adjusting the arm positions for the yokes, armbinders and the like, and it does not require dedicated movement animations to be active, it'll automatically take effect over any animation.

I see a few posts here of volume bugs, so let me clear that up: I rewrote some stuff with the muffling hood effect to fix a nasty bug it had (it was setting "Effects" and "Voice" to 100% every game load), but a side effect is that when upgrading to DD NG 0.4.2 on an existing save, you may have your "Effects" and "Voice" volume sliders set to zero the first time you load into the game. This is a one-time side effect from upgrading: just set them back to your desired values once, then exit the menu fully, and it'll be fixed.

Added note that menu should be closed after setting volume or it won't work

I am Using Sexlab P+ , After the new update Many animations are not working while wearing restraint, Any solution for this, Btw thanks for your Hard work.

do I need to install this partial animation replacer? not sure what it is or where it is if it is another module to install

No, that's an inbuilt feature that has annoyed some people for years. You get it as soon as you install DDs
