DeepBlueFrog Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Hi.. I just noticed something odd - after equipping some devices, I cannot see their equivalent in the inventory. On Skyrim SE, I added a dialogue to SD+ for Blacksmiths to craft a pair of restrictive boots. If I use AddItem on the player, the boots never appear in the inventory (using the Inventory version of the device) If I use LockDevice, the boots are equipped and locked, visible on the player, but they are not in the inventory. I tried both the default restrictive boots (restrictiveBoots) and the chain iron version (zadx_HR_ChainHarnessBootsInventory). I have my own devices created for Parasites and I can see them in the inventory as well as on the player, so I know that is working for some devices, but it is not working for the boots. Any idea what I could be missing? I am still making my way back to SE for modding and I am sure I missed a thing or two to update or configure, but this one puzzles me.

EX Sluts resume, the pony idle works fine but whenever running it plays the vanilla run animation, as if not wearing a yoke. Same case for that mod ebonitum's maid outfits. The hobble dress animation is in dd and using a DD hobble dress works fine, but not the one from the mod. I confirmed NG is the cause by switching it off and loading those mods and they worked as intended. any suggestions to make them compatible? I've tried using tesvedit before but never really understood DD scripting. I play on 1.5.97, is this the issue? Edited September 21, 2024 by doesitmatter11 added my skyrim game version

I haven't tried the newest version here as I'm not ready for restart a new game quite yet. I'm getting two many parameters passed to function in zadLibs and points to this function: Armor Function GetWornDeviceFuzzyMatch(Actor akActor, Keyword kw) Anyway, I got it compiled by temporarily disabling DD NG. Just thought you may want to know.

IIRC, there was an option in the MCM to toggle run style, sure that's enabled? It's fixable but shouldn't have any impact on your game.

And I do not know what I am doing wrong. AFAIK, I installed all the dependencies. Right now, Gags do not open the mouth. And AFAIK, that's the only thing that is broken (right now). In general, when starting a new game with serious mods, it is safest to go through a routine rather than immediately get to playing / testing / using the console. Here is my routine. It never disappointed me before. You can make a save just before you get to the actual playing and you can count on that save being "A safe starter" unless you change your load order: In general the entire process takes about 10 minutes, except for the time you take on messing in the MCM on personal preferences, but that part people would do anyway, so it doesn't count.

Just point the DD catsuit AA to the location of the desired mesh you want to replace it with. That way as and when DDNG gets updated your patch will still be valid. 1

TheManTheManTheMan2424 Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 IDK why but the sounds for rubber outfits and bodysuits do not make any of the typical rubber sounds they normally make. they were working correctly after initially installed, but seemed to stop at some point after installing a few new mods, and none of them were sound related AFAIK since they were mostly other outift edits and new animations (nothing DD related AFAIK). sounds for other devices such as chains. gags, and others are fine, only the rubber sound effects on any suits. I've tried re-sorting my load order and disabling any sound mods but to no avail, so I'm running out of seemingly simple fixes I suspect since I'm mostly a noob to hardcore modding any help at all would be appreciated, I am at a loss right now for what SEEMS simple to fix...

I'm in the process of getting a new modlist made up for when serana dialogue addon's final update comes out next year, and the author of SDA has their new original follower out with hopefully some updates too by the time that is ready. but I'm now at the point of getting my loverslab mods grabbed again, and I don't know which ones work with what anymore. especially with legacy of the dragonborn as well. as that seems to be a very touchy mod from what I've read.

Talis22 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I've hit a bug where DDNG causes SexLab's MCM to appeal blank and stops SexLab (1.66) from working. I double-checked the interaction - MCM appears just fine when DDNG is inactive, disappears again when it's activated. Not sure what's causing it or how to fix. I'll be sticking with DD5.2 unless someone has some insight on the subject. 2
HannoJojo Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 (edited) The Device Hider does not seem to work (at all) in my game, while everything else is working fine. The settings for it are still the default values (Slot 41 - which I can't change with the latest version anyway; active; slot 32 hides slots, etc.) but there is no effect on the piercings. Every piercing I use in my game has their slots changed according to the DD piercings (though this shouldn't really matter as we can select up to 4 slots we want to hide). Did something perhaps change with how the hider works? I remember in the past having the "issue" that slot 49 (which I use for panties & underwear) was being hidden by slot 32 (even if it was only covering the torso) so I don't think it was limited to "Devices" or certain keywords in the past. Is there some kind of routine which I can use to check which part is not working? Or are there some known incompatibilities I could check for? Apparently SMP Wigs may block slot 41 for the physics, but even without wearing a wig there is no effect. (Or is the smp slot info valid for SMP hairs too?) Is there perhaps a way to reinitialize the quests (which I assume are running for certain features) which I could try? I'd be grateful for any help / information and thank you in advance to anyone replying. EDIT: Just noticed it might be a somewhat relevant information that I'm on 1.5.97. Partially. Mods that try to play animations through DD's functions will fail (like Deviously Helpless) and animations will not be filtered out when bound. It isn't game breaking but there are issues. I'll be sticking with DD5.2 unless someone has some insight on the subject. Are you using Skyrim Unbound Reborn? I think the way it starts the game cause some issues with this mod. I switched to Alternate Start and it resolved this exact bug.
