Are you using one of the non-default ones? The regular one doesn't have that:

but, iirc, Cedec's one actually was suffering from what you are describing.

(and the other choice, MaikCG, has broken fingers, probably due rig issues)

So as an easy solution, I can recommend to you to pick a "Default" setting when you are installing DD and it asks about the animation choices 🙂.

Yup. That's it. I just ran the FOMOD again, going through the options, and I definitely remember picking Cedec's (the copious upper body movement activated some neurons when I first installed it). Swapped to default and all is right in the world.

I'll definitely check those resources out, thanks! I have a pretty busy schedule, but if I find some time I'll give tinkering a go. Who knows, I might end up liking it hahaha.

Is  there a bug in zadLibs.psc, the one from the github? My char gets stuck in vibe animations until opening the console briefly. Changing line 2066 from StartThirdPersonAnimation() to PlayThirdPersonAnimation() seems to solve the problem.

When installing DD NG v0.3 you have an option to install Nipple Piercing replacers with SMP. However, the tool tip says it requires Dynamic Armor Variants. Is there a way to get the  SMP enabled piercings without installing the extra mod?

ummm, newbie here, wanted to know what furniture name are in the gif/screenshot? where to find them or to spawn them? im using zap helper addon and cant find the furniture you post, just really love the struggling animation haha

You'd need to search devious devices contraptions through the console or with something like add item menu and add it to your inventory, then drop it where you want to use it. There's also a test cell that should have them in it: DDCTestZone.

Honestly IMO its not worth the hassle, they are a bit janky still, I got them to work nicely with either big boobies or small boobies but not for both. I might revisit it sometime as I do have an alternative idea for giving them the jiggly stuff for all boob shapes.

 

I stand corrected if someone else has worked on them since I did.

I need to create a patch but I have never made one before. What steps do I need to do in order to create a patch to make UD work?
Using Mod Organizer 2.


Edit: Found the solution. The "patch" was probably referring to the patch on 'Unforgiving Devices' main page. I followed the steps listed on the main page and that fixed the issue I was having.

Hello, i´m trying desperately to get modular outfits to work. I know that there are mostly 2 Options ... 1 SOS and 2. DD.... in my older moddes Game (SE) i had the same issue so i know what was causing it. (DD Devies underneath - Item hider) but in my actual mod run (AE) its not working because this option is greyed out which drives my crazy because the solution is soo close yet i cant choose it. 

 

Anyone knows how to let me chose the item hider slot again?

 

Edit: Fixed the problem myself. I had the unequipp Problem no matter the DD or SOS Version.

Found out that "The New Gentelman" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/104215

is causing the slot Problem over these. Evrything fine after removing it.

I don't know if this has been asked before or not yet but in case it hasn't I'll ask real quick. any chance of getting support for TBD body with DD-NG? it's my preferred body and maybe (can't say for sure obviously) some others too.

DD SE/AE/VR 5.2, choose any version of the DLL if you're on 1.6.1130 or 1.6.1170. DD NG will be overwriting that DLL, so it doesn't matter what is chosen in DD's installer.

Although it's been a month, I ran into the same problem. Turns out that OAR has a little tickbox in the top right that lets you toggle between a viewing mode, user mode, and author mode.

 

Switching to the user mode will let you change things.

I’m experiencing a bug with furniture devices. If I’m in a pillory and a SL scene is triggered, once it finishes it seems to break  the device and I can no longer interact with it to escape. Pressing the activate button (e) just makes the invalid sound and no menu shows up.

am I missing something?

Found another issue with the piercings.
I am using CBBE 3BA and if I enable SMP physics by using numpad + key, I can no longer equip a genital/clit piercing.

Conversely, if I equip the piercing first, and then enable SMP physics, the SMP breast physics do not work.

I guess I will have to stick with CBPC physics only. If anyone knows a work around, please let me know.

SMP uses an "armor" to apply its effects. That goes into slot 50 by default, which is the same slot that DD uses for genital piercings. Go into 3BA's MCM and change the slot to 60, which should be listed as "Devious Devices compatible".

Thank you so much. Seems like something that could have been an automatic detection to switch the slot. I thought I'd read through the mod requirements/install instructions pretty thoroughly, if they mentioned this I must have missed it.

Just wanted to ask, does the Equip.esm have to be enabled with this mod? I noticed that the current version of DD contains Assets, Contraptions, Expansion and Integration, but not Equip. I've had it turned on the entire time I've used this mod (around a year or so?) but moving to PPLUS brings up a constant error from Skyrim Utility Mod which Equip has as a master. Thanks for reply in advance.

Equip is not part of the framework, it is a separate mod maintained by Inte.
