Devious Devices NG

Looks like the new version is not compatible with the Skyrim VR. I have the latest VR Address Library 0.158.0 and with DD NG v0.3.7 I get this error message:

 

REL%/Relocation.h(1088): Failed to find the id within the address library: 37974.

This means this script extender plugin is incompatible with the address library for this version of the game, and thus not support it.

I have the same issue and I've made sure it's in the correct folder after building all DD items in the 3BA group.

Edit: I installed with the armbinder replacer option and the mesh is not part of the DD 3BA slider group. It has to be built separately by typing armbindernew in the search field.

Since this is far from obvious it would be a good idea to explain it in the description?

 

Someone should be adding it to the 3ba group, and possibly creating a bhunp group. I might do it this weekend if it still needs to be done\, but it won't be in until the next version, assuming they don't move faster than i do again.

 

@krzp Could you add a note that users need to search for and build "Devious Devices" (there's two outfits missing a hyphen so they aren't all tagged the same) in bodyslide?
 

Leaving the attachment, even though it's fucking up for me. it was eventually fixed later last time i tried. i'll check tomorrow

Confused on the Armbinders thing. My issue is it seems they are overwriting other devices and turning them invisible. I know this was an issue way back but I thought it got fixed?

Is there any way to talk to npcs whilst gagged? I think I remember being able to eventually be able to get npc to talk to you on a percent chance or something like that but for me literally every npc just says "you need to get rid of the gag, etc"

Some of them are new devices and need to be rebuilt again because they have different paths. If they're invisible, rebuild  the bodyslides with DD NG active. 

The only problem before was with the nipple piercing, i think that should be fixed now, but if not, then just build that one bodyslide with DD NG inactive.

Dug around the git repository a bit, apparently this has already been fixed quite some time ago but hasn't made it into a release yet...

Got excited and downloaded the latest nightly, which promptly popped up the next relocation error (this time id 41291). Seems the new one got introduced with "MovementManager" (a rather recent commit), so I went back to the 20241114 nightly and it worked. Well, at least the game loaded and I was able to create a new character and play around a bit- way too early to really tell...

 

But at least it's good to know this has been addressed (no pun intended), and I saw there have been other VR specific commits as well. Excited for the next release, keep up the good work, and thanks to all contributors!

Newer builds are usually on the discord first, and then they make it to LL once all the found bugs have been ironed out. 🙂

I have been using UUNP with DD NG 0.2.9.

 

I'm hoping to understand the plans for DD NG -- if CBBE 3BA is a hard requirement, then will that be the only supported body going forward?

 

I can understand why UUNP would be dropped, since that is old.

 

What about support for BHUNP or UBE?

What about support for BHUNP or UBE?

Well, all the old stuff is still going to be there and it's not planned to be dropped anytime soon - but most of the new things are being made with 3BA in mind, making it the only "officially" supported body mod (and there is a bunch of new stuff in the discord beta rn). The rest is up to the community 🙂 If someone wants to take on a massive undertaking and create bodyslides for other body mods, we surely ain't going to say no and will be grateful - but I don't think we've got anyone on the team of people that work on NG who uses xUNP.

 

UBE, from what I understand of it, is setup like a custom race which requires some extensive patching to work, so we don't have anything going for it - that said, I know there existed some sort of an unofficial conversion on their discord.

I have an issue where if I install DD NG + Pandora then combat defeat mods don't work anymore. DD SE + Pandora works but many DD/DCL animations get borked. DD + Nemesis works just fine.

 

DD NG + Pandora cannot detect bleedout for some reason, they will work once or twice then stop working. Basically sexlab doesn't start, so it just goes from bleedout > bleedout recovery > start combat.

 

Any solutions for that?

 

To be fair I did not start a new game, just updated DD > NG to test out -so could be that.

Try a new game. A bunch of us are using pandora now and i've not seen or heard of that particular problem.

sexlab not starting is further up the stack and would need to be fixed first before troubleshooting DD / DCL, because both are dependent on sexlab working.

So If I use DD NG 0.3.x with UUNP, it will work, but I won’t be able to build the new items in Bodyslide.

 

 Is that correct?

Many use BHUNP, as do I.

Hmm the old sliders should still work, it's the fact I have to start a whole new game, and lose my current game progress that's rather annoying, no disrespect intend, obviously lots of work has gone into the NG version.

is there a semi-easy way to put the character in crouch when equipping Petsuit ?
started using dynamic collision and in kinda bothers me that petsuit has standing collisionbox

Hey, Im trying to run devious devices on version 1.6.1170 but it keeps coming up with an error saying "Deviousdevices.dll disabled, incompatible with current version of the game". Im also using Devious Devices Ng but it doesnt seem to help. Im propably stupid or smth but please anyone help

Hello, I'm trying the SexlabP+, in it's git they wrote that only incompatible feature is anim filtering. Could I use NG++ if it's not a my concern? Is there any more problems?

Something like that, yes. 🙂

 

I see that the recent beta includes a BHUNP group, but that was just for a few remakes of some older devices that was made by Predator - the rest of the new stuff and fixes are 3ba only.

Hello, my native language is not English. If there are any grammar errors, please understand


When my character wears a gag, their mouth will open normally, but during laboratory sex animations, their mouth will execute laboratory expressions instead of opening. Has anyone encountered the same situation as me and is there any way to solve it

 

Installed mfgfix, mfgfixNG, opparco mfg command
