I just kind of stops, nothing about the removal of your curse? or the effects on Angrim? Angrim doesn't even have the Ensnared dialog that you get if you try without the Agent of Dibella perk.

 

As I recall, that special weapon is reserved for Succubi, so if you did that side quest too early (and weren't using a Succubus Race character) it wouldn't appear.

If you've gotten all the spells, he's waiting for frustration to get the better of you... which it probably never will, if you keep going back pretty often.  The next stage is conditional on the global AngrimSatiation, which drops over time (and drops much faster, if DD vibrate events trigger).

 

If you want to force things along, just set that variable to something like 5 (anything less than 10 might do, I don't recall the exact threshold).

Not an SE user myself, but my understanding is that @Adviser69 converted Angrim successfully and so I presume there must be corresponding ports of the DD mods.

So is there a point of no return for one ending with angrim or another? I believe I got the succubus curse placed, though to be honest I'm not certain how to tell.  Is there a point where it goes Poof, your a succubus?  I just went to fetch a book from him while wearing the belt and plugs.  However upon return the only option I have seems to be the one that leads to being sacrificed and sold off to slavery. 

 

Any suggestions or do I have any other options?

So what exactly are then endings, I just got the one with the curse, but am not a succubus (special edition) he doesn't seem to have any new quests, how do I advance?

No it doesn't go "poof", the curse is that you keep the satisfaction mechanic forever (the thing that makes the screen shake red and magicka reduce if going without sex too long)

 

I think for good ending you need to ensnare angrim before the final scene

I searched for "cairn" on this topic and got no results, so I'm guessing this question has not been asked before - Could you include a script function that checks whether or not you have been cursed, and if so, allows you in to the Soul Cairn during Dawnguard?  PSQ has the functionality which I though was nifty, but I'm not a pro at scripting so I just thought I'd ask before I tried myself.  I checked the Succubus Race mod as well, but that author doesn't include .psc files so I couldn't check any of the scripts.  I'm trying to avoid using the PSQ mod if possible.

 

Edit: also, is there anything game-breaking if I switch to the succubus-race once cursed using Racemenu?  I would like to role-play becoming a succubus as opposed to starting the game as one.

I don't think there is anything game breaking to switch race like that, aside from any normal vanilla bugs from doing so. I think that as long as you're not using mods that assign racial perks like Imperious, you should be fine. If you do though, you'll have to go in and manually reset your racial perks via the mod's MCM menu.

As @Adviser69 said, a race switch shouldn't cause mischief for this mod; I'd expect the effects to carry over just fine.  After the switch, and at least one save/load sequence (to make sure maintenance functions have had a chance to run), check if the global AngrimPlayerIsSuccubus is set (it would be automatic, if you started the game as Succubus Race).  If it's not set, a console command can fix it:

 

'set AngrimPlayerIsSuccubus to 1'

 

That's not strictly necessary, but it affects a few of the perks in this mod.

OK, thanks!  The other thing I will try to do is to repurpose the PSQ DLC1VQ04LabTriggerScript to make the transition to the Soul Cairn without vampirism when AngrimPlayerIsSuccubus==1.

i have a question about reacquiring an ability that was removed due to completion of the quest.

Apparently I got the Hungry Ghost ending, and I really loved turning into a ghost and having the "Fade" ability to become a ghost whenever I wanted.  On this play-through I never spoke with Falion about curing it, but I guess I inadvertently cured myself without realizing it as I no longer have Fade, Ghostly Scream.  Is there any way to get Fade back so that I can use it again, or is it gone for good?

I don't know of any way to 'accidentally' remove those effects, so that's a bit of a puzzle.  The console command 'player.addspell AngrimGhostlyStateSpell' could be used to restore the Hungry Ghost abilities; I don't believe any of them are quest-specific, once acquired.

ISSUE RESOLVED (see edit)

 

Thank you for the suggestion.  I just tried that in the console but there seems to be some problem.

Compiled script not saved!

After getting the above 'not found' issue, I went ahead and opened TES5Edit just to see if I could find the spell listed under the AngrimApprentice.esp and it certainly is listed there.

This ghostly state did work at first, for a couple of levels.  I got the Gauldar's amulet not too long after, but never spoke to Falion.  It has been probably at least 20+ character levels since I last noticed it working.  I had a character previous to this one with an almost identical load order, and did not have any problem with the ghostly state.  I had the same amulet on her.  I can't remember exactly what I added in between character play-through but I think it was only 1 or 2 mods.  My load order has not changed since I started this character, I have not added any additional mods.

 

The AngrimApprentice v2.11 mod is still enabled, and I'm pretty sure I still have the other spells I obtained during the quest.  In fact I just recently completed getting "Ensnare" 2 days ago and tested that spell once.  Angrim still exists, I visited him earlier today.

 

If I type "help Fade" into the console I can see that the Fade spell is listed there.  Would 'player.addspell Fade' work so I could at least become a ghost again if I wanted?  Any other suggestions for restoring ghostly state?

 

EDIT -

 

I believe I have it figured out now.  It seems that the player.addspell command needs to be followed by the correct hexidecimal value of FormID.  I was able to use the help command in the console to determine the values.  (help "Ghostly State" help "Fade" and help "ghastly state") To get the minor powers back and add the ghost form back as it was upon finishing the quest, here are the commands to type into the console:

 

To add Ghostly State type player.addspell 6C0084AD
To add Fade type player.addspell 6C027493
To add Ghastly Scream type player.addspell 6C0084AB

stuck in dalliance quest. got hit by ghost and now kneeling in front of arondil, but he just repeats his line about binding me with the soul gem. Can't move or anything

I'm stuck at the "Errands for Angrim" quest, the one where you have to find an ancient tome in Convangr Hall.
I searched both the cave and broodlair but can't find the tome. There's no quest marker.

Can somebody give me that quests ID and tell me which book I am supposed to find? Thanks!

Nevermind. The mod author thankfully did a wonderful job at naming the quests. "Help Angrim" lists them beautifully.
The quests ID is AngrimBookQuest4

Advancing said quest isn't really helpful lthough. I'm at stage 10, which is the second to last one. What is supposed to happen after I finish that quest?

 

Edit 2:
movetoqt AngrimBookQuest4 moved me to a different instance of the dungeon which has a quest marker in it, called "Dark Tunnel". Seems like some other mod or something might be replacing the instance or something. I found the book "The hundred thousand realms" and managed to finish the quest.
