<TbnrFrags> Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Hey Min im A huge fan of your devious mods but theres this problem look below V So I have this problem with the devious devices sets[the devious devices mods chasity gear] where even though i try to start the quest for the forbidden tome it wont work as i get urag's attention yet nothing happens i did it over and over and hes still having those creepy eyes on me staring into mah soul but still it wont work! I also have this problem with the whole mods as i installed captured dreams yet none of the slaves are wearing bondage gear and i was like why isnt the devious devices mods working? Despite that i thought it was a glitch[Made a new chara] but then i installed a mod that goes well with a hardcore bondage skyrim gameplay which is Deviously Cursed Loot and I opened alot ALOT of containers yet i wont get any gear equipped and i was like wtf why isnt it working at one time i heard something locking on[probs a full set since arousal 100]so i checked my inv to see if something did lock on yet nothing happened so then thats when i had suspected it had something to do with the chasity devices. I have everysingle requirement for the mods yet it wont work! .I need help since it wont work If you can fix this or tell me how to it will be appreciated! Papyrus log failing to record something can be as helpful as it throwing out errors. Even if you don't see anything wrong, papyrus log might still be informative to us (who know what it SHOULD be outputting) in one way or another. Along with it it would also be extremely helpful if you posted your load order. Your issue sounds like either a global papyrus overload that clogged the engine, possibly caused by a failed initialisation of some mod (that can sometimes happen if certain mods are installed or uninstalled mid-playthrough) or you are in fact missing/using an outdated requirement that causes DD's initialisation to be suspended. Without logs and load orders to tell us the whole story guesses and assumptions is as much as we can give you.

Make sure logging is turned on in the MCM menu as well so we can see everything it is doing.

Otherwise, after the whole debacle, I'll grab him by the jaw, spit "You disgusting old man, you're fired!" into his ear, melt his face and brain with my fire magic, then butcher his body for alchemical ingredients and bones to use in my legion of skeletons. (I am a lesbian, and I don't take too kindly to males taking advantage of me! It's disgusting!) As for Zed, instead of being forced to act as a guinea pig, I'd like to work more alongside him, if I have to at all! Perhaps make Crassius Curio's obvious offspring female, instead? Men aren't the only ones who can be lecherous, you know! One more thing: The events described in the journal found in the Forbidden Bookcase make no sense. After all, how can you do those events when somebody else did them before you? If they happened before you came in, then the CoW questline would have been halfway done by the time you came along, and you would be much less important to the plot, which isn't something most people want!

I'm actually having this problem currently as well, I've a save I was using and it shows up fine. I installed some new mods, so I started a new game and everything starts up but Devious devices. Oddly enough any mod that needs them, Cursed loot for example won't run either, I can force the items into my inventory, but they won't equip nor will they work. I tried re-installing all DDI and everything it requires, problem persists, tried turning off the mods I added before the problem, made a new save, problem persists. Funny thing is, the save file I was using before that had the menu when it was all working, still works, DDI and all mods there in work fine on that save, just not on any new game I make. I can't figure out why, never had an issue like this before, I tried turning off pretty much everything save for DDI and what it needs, it works fine. But I can't figure out why things went wrong, why that one save still works and whats causing DDI to not start or show up on new games. I've not a lot of free time, so I was unable to try and fix the issue further, I'll try again on the weekend, if anyone has any insight I'd appreciate it, I can provide logs next time I'm able to sit down and test if needed.
Guest Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 I had a similar issue! I uninstalled "Shout Like a Virgin 1.32" and all worked fine after. Absolutely no idea whether it was causal or not.

I did the basic quest layout and dialogue, Zadil improved the dialogue (was much better than mine) and Min put the whole thing together. We had intended on building another quest but we were busy with other things (Zadil was making more items, Min was making improvements to DDi and I was breaking it with FtM).

I got all the sexlab reqirements installed, all the devious device requirements. Any help would be appreciated.

Everytime i try to equip a blindfold instead of the correct texture i get a white blindfold everytime and in my inventory the blindfold doesnt show as equipped even though the effects are there. "phantom blindfold" i guess you could say. When i try to equip the blindfold again the game just says that multiple blindfolds cannot be equipped at the same time. I cant remember if the blindfold always did this but it seems to also replace my helmet. Any fixes? already tried reinstalling the mods

If you have PCEA2, go into the mcm menu and disable I think the 2nd option.

dr1zzt05 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 sorry if this has been asked, i have a white custom blindfold that will not come off my face but doesn't show up in the inventory, i can equip the custom white blindfold it and it goes away on my bodyun equip it and it doesnt show as equipped but the moment i try to equip another of any kind it magically comes back even if i was equipping a red one it comes back as white and doesnt show up in inventory as equipped. unequip all only works as visual if i try to equip it magically comes back. im not sure how to link load order if you need it.
Vintovka98 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Is there any mods that's incompatible with 3.0 beta? I updated from 2.9.2 to 3.0 b, and the armbinder animations doesn't work correctly. FNIS Sexy Move's animations have been bumped down 2 animations. What is usually running animation 8 became running animation 9, and the yoke walk and armbinder walk became a sexy move animations. The armbinder animation is entirely absent, running use the default animation with invisible hands. Every time I try to equip an item, it gives me an error that I didn't install/upgrade correctly... despite this being a fresh install of Skyrim and a fresh set of mods. All of the mods were install via NMM, I've run FNIS, I've run Loot. I'm not even using that many mods. And all I'm getting from Papyrus logs is...
