Also, default to off, because this is one of those, "fuck this shit, revert to a previous save" things if it turns out it wasn't what you wanted.

I'm having a slight problem with FNIS;  every time I run it, I get this :

ERROR(2011): Wrong line in Animation List. Line  1 (..\..\meshes\actors\character\animations\DeviousDevices\FNIS_DeviousDevices_List.txt):  Version V2.8.2

 

Any idea on what this means?  (I searched through this thread and didn't find anything related to it ><)

Your Mod Installer is not installing the Text Files needed By FNIS and many other Mods to function properly. There should be an option to allow Text based Files to be installed in NMM.

How to uninstall Devious Devices Integration safely ? After removing all mod files (using mod manager) and loading last save the game start spaming to log with similar messages:

Which... makes no sense. The only NPC in DDi is Zed S. Curio.

 

EDIT: Have you finished the Civil War?

I found in my save 2 instances of USKPCWCampLeadersFixScript, one of them with 0 RefID and with all propersties set to 0. Looks like after unistalling DDi for unknown reason this zero-instance recives OnUpdate() event. 'FixScriptInstaces' button in SaveTool helped to remove this zero-instance and fix this issue.

 

But why OnUpdate() event happens after unistalling DDi is a mistery. I have tried to unistall other mods and nothing like that happens.

You cannot safely uninstall DDi (Or any other scripted mod) mid-playthrough.

 

A) Try your luck with a savegame cleaner.

B) Revert to a save prior to installing the mod.

C) Start a new character.

The Devices Underneath system is PC only.

 

Are there any plans on expanding this feature to include NPCs?

So if I register the ZAZ animation DD's MCM menu shows them as registered just fine, but if I uncheck them from consensual sex DD shows them as not registered. Shouldn't DD use aggressive sex animations instead of consensual ones? Although it would be best if bound animations only played when the character was bound but you can't have everything.

Hi all, i have some strange problem: when i returnig to Urag from Zad (the forbidden tome quest), after remowing all that gear from my character, dialog box closing and than happens NOTHING. And quest is still active. Maybe you whrote how to fix this earlier or in some FAQs, but English is my 2 language so its a little bit hard for me to find that out.

Many consensual animations look quite *too* consensual for "aggressive" sex in my opinion. Maybe a checkbox to disable consensual animations for aggressive sex could be implemented? (analogue to the option to disable aggressive animations in consensual sex)

FIRST THINGS FIRST, CHECK YOUR PAPYRUS DEBUG LOG!

As a script heavy mod, many of SexLab's most common errors are printed out in this log file and SexLab attempts to print out errors to the log in a descriptive manner to explain why it will not start an animation.

 

The debug log is disabled by default, in order to enable it, open your Skyrim.ini file, located in /My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/

 

Add/edit the following to this file:

[Papyrus]
fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0
bEnableLogging=1
bEnableTrace=1
bLoadDebugInformation=1
 
If the any of the above lines do not exist, add it. If it already exists, modify the matching line to reflect the above settings. All of the settings should be under the [Papyrus] header, and below no other.
 
Save your changes to Skyrim.ini and load your your game, quickly attempt to replicate the issue you have with SexLab, and quit the game.
 
Your debug log files will now be located in the folder My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/Logs/Script/, the file Papyrus.0.log will always contain the log for the LAST time you opened Skyrim.

So, of cause, awesome work done here. :)

 

With that out of the way, Devious Devices - Integration takes care of the in-game tooltips for items, right? (unless of cause they are expansion items like from Devious Devices - expansions or the Captured Dreams shop)

I found that, no offense, many tooltips are lacking and I'm confused as to what the effects of certain items are. Or maybe some items don't have any real effect?

 

So, that is what I could figure out from the tooltips, the menus and in-game experimenting (mind you, I'm still pretty new to all this):

 

Collar - any effect?

Arm cuffs - this one surprised me most, so maybe my modding broke it, but I don't see any effect?

Harness - there is one version blocking the use of armor in this slot. What's the effect of the non-blocking version?

Nipple/Vaginal piercing - according to the magic tooltip, they exist. Probably increased arousal, although it would be nice to spell it out (or paraphrased as "drives you crazy" or whatever).

 

I think it would improve clarity if all items would have tooltips and effects as clear as the chastity belts/bra. :)

    • Cursed loot & Petcollar have effects for their custom collars
  • cuffs - nothing
    • Deviously Helpless adds some effects to arm & leg cuffs, see my signature for link ;)
  • harness - normal one functions as a chastity belt
  • piercings, yep, they have a vibrate effect similar to the soulgem plugs, not as strong though

@Harness: Ah, right. Thats good. :)

@Cuffs: I take it the arm cuffs are not supposed to be closed together, but just cuffs on each wrist? I just thought it was an animation glitch on my side. :D

I'm actually using deviously helpless, and it adds an awesome sense of immersion to the whole experience. :) But I thought of more stat-wise effects, like the chastity belts do.

 

 

Just random ideas:

 

 

Collar: 

-shop keepers look down on slaves, increasing shop prices by 20%.

-everyone looks down on slaves, giving them a speech malus of -10.

-posture collar keeps your neck straight, but standing in this uptight position reduces your movement speed by -10%.

-manipulations of minds are harder to do with the symbol of slaves around your neck, decreased illusion skill by 10.

 

 

Harness:

-The tight clothing around your body reduces breathing, decreasing stamina regeneration by 50% and stamina maximum by 20.

-a harness gets in the way of any armor laid above it, reducing any torso armors' armor value (I guess that'd be hard to implement) or reducing your armor skills (not as accurate, but easier).

 

Arm cuffs:

-arm cuffs are in the way of most manual tasks, decreasing lockpicking, one-handed, two-handed, archery and magic skills by 5. Of cause, if the arm cuffs were supposed to be closed, the effects would be significantly greater (no block or archery, only one-handed/two-handed?)

-arm cuffs reduce heavy armor effectiveness (similar to harness?)

 

 

Leg cuffs: 

-obviously reduces movement speed (the ZAZ animation options hint at something called "shackled animation speed", but sadly it doesn't seemt to work for me)

-leg cuffs hinder heavy armor effectiveness (similar to harness?)

 

 

Nipple/Vaginal piercing:

-the piercings make you more suspectible to attacks when hit in that area or while doing sharp movements such as dodging, reducing your effective health by 10 each.

-obviously already increases arousal, but how? => could be stated

 

 

Gags:

-unability to speak makes casting magic harder, reducing all magic skills by 10 (not sure if fit for skyrim lore).

-in case you somehow get to speak or shop due to a bug or mod or whatever, your speech skill is reduced by 100.

-drooling makes it harder to stay silent, reducing pickpocket and sneak by 5.

 

Plugs (stacking effects for vaginal/anal):

-plugs press against you more demanding while crouching/sneaking, reducing sneaking by 10. Although a polled/timed event with plugs while sneaking to get removed from sneaking for a short time would be rad too, if there isn't one already. I think there is one for vibrating plugs?

-plugs disturb your concentration, reducing magic skills by 10.

-running with plugs is painful, reducing sprinting speed by 15%.

-falling with plugs is painful, increasing falling damage by 10%.

 

 

Blindfold:

-being blind is already enough of a burder for combat due to visual constraints, but other aspects are not adressed yet: pickpocket and sneak are reduced by 50, lockpicking by 20 and speech by 10.

-falling with a blindfold on is very dangerous, increasing falling damage by 50%

 

 

Armbinder:

-having your arm behind your back makes it obvious for everyone that you are a slave, reducing speech by 10.

-no lockpicking or pickpocket (if currently possible) or at least reduced by a high amount

-falling with an armbinder is very danagerous, increasing falling damage by 50%

-no crafting/enchanting/alchemy while locked

 

Slave boots:

-again, makes it obvious for everyone that you are a slave, reducing speech by 10.

-reduces sneak by 10.

-unstable footing reduces one-handed, two-handed, archery, and block by 10

 

 

Oh well, maybe it's time to delve into modding after all. :)
