SAM Enhanced Animations

Now works with NG version of the game. You'll need the upgraded version of SAMFormer.

This mod adds adjustments to animations. Many Atomic Lust, Mutated Lust, Leito's, Savage Cabbages and RohZima's animations are covered. I also made some of my own variants. Many animations have vaginal and anal versions. The FF animations require a version of the Vioxis strap-on that has ZeX bones to work properly.

This mod does not contain any animations, only adjustments for the existing ones. There's no plugins. No .esp, .esl or such. The requirements have enough already.

Some old animations didn’t have working genitals, so I made SAM adjustments to make the genitals connect properly. Some orifice is opened and the dick goes in as precisely as possible. I also added some gravitational effects. Boobs sag a bit in doggy, powerbomb/piledriver and laying on back positions. Balls hang a bit lower and do respect gravity. Hands and legs positions are changed in some cases.

Requirements:

AAF installed according to the Fucking Manual
SAM (Make sure you have the Blink hack checked in SAM menu to get the expressions right)
- F4SE and the poser skeleton are the requirements you really need, you can skip all the camera/lighting mods if you want
SAMFormer (the NG version in optional downloads)
The original animation mods, FO4 Animations by Leito - 21/09/05 - 2.1b, Atomic Lust 2.7b, Mutated Lust 1.4, Savage Cabbages animations v 1.2.8, RohZima FO4 Animations 3.20 or newer
Bodytalk and Fusion Girl bodies
- Can be used with CBBE and Animated Fannies also. But since I don't do that, those fall under the category "not supported"
Vioxis strap-on
- Only if you want to use my FF versions of the animations. If you want the strap-on to hit where it should, use my version or some other strap-on mod that has penis bones and make sure you build it in Bodyslide to match your nude female preset.
The ZeX skeleton needs to be the one that supports SAM
Custom Moans Optional, but you will see many errors in AAF admin panel without it. Don't know if you should be too worried about that. This mod works just fine without it. You just don't get the sounds and mouth movements without it. Instructions for installation here

Use physics. OCBP is the way to go in my opinion

About SavageCabbage 1.3.0 addon:

Requires that you have UAP installed so, that SavageCabbage animations support is ticked off - If it's not, you'll end up with AAF stuck loading at 68% or something

About the strap-on:

Fusion Girl only
It does weird things if bodyfat slider or groin back or -lower are used in BodySlide
It will clip a bit in the lower back area when the pelvis tilts a lot
Installation: Install Vioxsis' original mod, then my files. Let my files overwrite Vioxsis'. Build SEA Strap-on in BodySlide with your nude female preset. Profit.
This should be compatible with all other mods in the Fucking Manual

Load this after all AAF guides mods

Also consider trying my Lewd Expressions mod on top of this. Most of the expressions are present in this mod already, but if you want to change the expressions of the actors yourself, go grab that one!

Known issues:

The pelvis jiggle is built in in some animations, which makes the legs shake in some cases. It also makes perfect aiming of the genitals impossible
Adjustments were made with The Girl Next Vault preset, which is my version of a slim classic big boob pornstar look
- OK, the most recent ones were made with my newer preset Overseer's Daughter, which is pretty much the same shape but works better with clothing and physics. They are pretty much interchangeable.
- Presets that move the crotch/genitals around are prone to cause misalignment issues and other issues with my strap-on
This will clutter your adjustments list in SAM
If you change the AAF positions rapidly, sometimes adjustments are not removed when the position changes and you end up having two or more adjustments on simultaneously. If this happens, you need to open up SAM menu and turn off the one(s) you don’t want

Not an expert on AAF configs; would this be possible to use it with some AAF patches that operate on different animation packs including Atomic Lust and/or Leito's?

I did a "lucky try" and it didn't work for me - AAF tells the "caller null" error #1009 and sends a ton of warning about missing positions. My bet is that it's because I use AAF patches which change the default configuration of those animation packs. Is this correct? If yes, is there a way to make it work?

Short answer: I have no idea.

I use only the stuff that's listed in the AAF manual. Not an expert on AAF configs either, this is the first time I even edit these files. Right now I'm just sitting here with my fingers crossed and hoping that my mod doesn' t break shit.

The mod I published doesn't do anything to most Atomic or Leito aggressive animations, and I can't explain why they are listed in your log.

Which patches are you using? I have only UAP and I haven't even looked at the other ones files. When I installed UAP, I tried to keep it from making changes to my animations list, because I like to change the stages manually. Can't remember the choices I made then exactly. I tried to make my edits so, that my mod would just add something up to what you already have after the "fucking manual" installation method.

Okay, it's probably my patch issues, I use indarello's one. And that one needs to be updated every time even just a newer version of some animation included into it is released, not to say trying to yolo an entirely new animation pack. Eh, whatever. I'll wait till it's updated or skip this for now. Thanks!

Sorry I couldn't help. When I started messing with AAF a few years ago, I tried every patch. Sometimes I got my setup in a working state and after something changed I went through hell to get it working again. After I discovered the manual, I've kept to it's instructions to avoid excess pain in the ass.

No sweat. I know I should learn AAF architecture and its XML but I just never had practical need for it as a modder and I was so far always getting away with my mediocre knowledge of it as a user. All my mods just needed its API but not animations. Maybe one day I'll dedicate some time and effort, but for now I'll leave it be

UAP is required?

Because after installing SAM Enhanced Animations, AAF it stuck at 68%.

I believe this should work just fine without UAP.

I didn't get caught in 68% with this. Sometimes when editing, yeah, but not with the version I uploaded.

I have no idea if this will work with patches that are not in the AAF manual.

I also have 68%. I'm running a Leito Patch and UAP. Also, I have edited the xmls specifically added offsets to the animation data and actions in almost all the animations. Do you think I'd need to reinstall to defaults? It doesn't seem to overwrite anything. I was also thinking with my noob brain that possibly, the animation data xml file named SAM Enhanced Atomic Lust_AnimationData need to be in the AAF folder along with the position data. I don't know, maybe?

This looks awesome! I've always wished there was a good (easy) way to fix the facial expressions and the vagina/anus not opening during the animations. Good job!

Quick question: What is this AAF manual you are referring to? Is it the "Fucking Manual"?

I plan on using this mod, but right now my load order is borked. I updated UAP and kept getting a CTD. Had to go back to earlier version. 2.6.49 works pretty stable. 2.6.53 and 2.6.62 do not.

Anyways, keep up the good work.

Thank you. Yes, "The Fucking Manual" opens up if you click on the AAF link in the original post (this was actually aimed for the other people who might not know what it is). The only expression included in this mod is in the Atomic Blowjob, because I found the og expressions settings in the files and then changed it. You have to fiddle the rest with SAM or something to change them, at least for now. I'll try to find out if I can include my expressions in this mod, but don't know yet if that's possible or not. For now, I'm more in the mood for making more adjustments for the animations I think benefit from it, so the expressions come later. If ever.

Don't know what to do about those CTD's, I've got the latest version of UAP working. But still, I feel your pain. It's not that easy to have AAF in working order.

This patch edits the same stuff I did, so it might not be compatible. I don't have it, as I'm sort of trying to replace it. I just disabled it in MO2 as I started this and there were no problems. Actually, I began making this mod with making the adjustments to the Leito patch 1.0.7's xml's and then decided not to, because I thought that it's obsolete because it's not included in The Manual anymore. I might have an exaggerated respect for the manual, I know, but that's what I'm following myself and I'm trying to make this as compatible with it as possible.

It's doesn't seem to overwrite anything, because the filenames are different. MO2 doesn't pick up stuff like that.

I also thought so earlier. But apparently the filenames don't matter too much. Only what's written in the files. The animationdata information kind of is already there, in the form of the original mods .xml file.

I have installed AAF per the "AAF Fucking Manual", no patches except UAP, Leito is 2.1b. Nothing overwrites this mod or gets overwritten.

OK, problem solved by installing UAP. Now it works like a charm.

PS: I used this patch before: 'Patch for animations (Squirt/Cum Effects, cum/tattoo overlays, stages, fixes)' [Usually named "AnimationAddonsAndFixes" in Vortex.]

I found the culprit but I have no idea why this is the problem. If I delete "SAM Enhanced Leito_positionData.xml" FO4 runs normaly, no CDT.

Hello. Thank you for your hard work. Is it possible to disable the mouse from the camera in tfc? Often you have to adjust the body of the character in tfc, but with this camera the mouse becomes unavailable.
