It's normal for Elin NPC's to kind of just be based as fuck right? Like... walking around in Whiterun or Solitude they are always hanging off random places like little squirrels.

I mean it's adorable, but Wondering if it's just my NPC AI acting up, or it's intentional.

Those Elin-Apachii hair pack contains an older Apachii 1.4.  Apachii updated her hairs sometime after I released the Elin hairs.

I have plans to make some changes to this version of the Elins and that includes an All-in-One hair pack that includes Apachii 1.5 and the latest 1.4, but all this will be awhile.

 

For now, I recommend using only Elin-Apachii 1.5.

You are using the XPMSE skeletons released by Groovtama.  To unlock the tail sliders for Elin 2, you will need my edited XPMSE which will be released along with the Elin 2 files.

For now, the extra face morphs have the most importance.

but then, when I install the current beta 2 with NMM Elin, I have to overwrite all or not ?

 

overwriting everything and can lose something, or that other races generic or custom race no longer work PROPERLY or changing something, if possible faults override all the files of ECE v1.2 etc..?

 

not change the sliders characteristics of the ECE v1.2 and additional XPMSE by Groovtama, nothing is modofy/lost ?

I have to install some mods in the right order, because now if I load one of my save, every time I go outdoors with animals and travel fast in places with animals, I always crash = return to the desktop, I just solved intalla the new Elin race 2 his new skeleton XPMSE dedicated, I have some questions to ask, are the first on the new skeleton:

 

1) the new XPMS does not replace the XPMSE using the shell from other races generic and custom? indioendente is totally dedicated to Elin race 2 only ight?..

 

2) the new skeleton supports HDT EP 14-28, Elin 2 bodymeshe has the bones/nodes for the butt and belly ?

 

3) Elin race 2 is compatible only with its textures, also supports other skin textures from UNP family ?

 

4) comes a specific version dedicated to Elin Race 2, the well-known Elin Summong Erring?

 

5) what kind of costumes has the best compatibility with bodymeshe Elin 2 generic UNP, UNP petite, skinny UNP, x117, other..?

 

6) actual Elin race 2 released is equipped with All the textures RAW uncompressed ? or eventually would be possbile to get all Elin textures uncompressed for the highest quality, even with FOV 20 for get HQ screens, Elin 2 RAW textures are Coming soon ?

 

7) This new version of Elin seems much more versatile and customizable previous Elin, has great potential..!  if messages will be increased and colorzazioni type of eyes, mouth and eyebrows, that way you could give much room for creativity, and at the same time would be possbile to faithfully recreate a multitude of anime characters, so I hope to be improved and extend these opportunities in the future?

1)  XPMSE for Elin 2 installs the skeletons in the TERA ELIN folder.  So that means you can install both the original and my edited version.

 

2)  The base Elin 2 body does not support (T)BBP, so HDT will not work.  I mentioned before about recreating one of the TBBP Elin bodies so that Elin 2 can use HDT.

 

3)  You can try other UNP textures, but the face will not match.  I'm going to test some of the Elin 1, UNP textures.  Strange I have not done that already, but I've been busy and forgot about it.

 

4)  I'll can adapt the Summon Ring for Elin 2.  I was thinking about introducing the Elin reapers and maybe some minions.

 

5)  Try whatever armor you want to use.  The character I have in the first post is wearing Fox 26 (CBBE) and she looks fine.

 

6)  I don't have any uncompressed textures.  You can't convert compressed textures to uncompressed.  It's like saving a JPEG image as a BMP, the quality will be no better than when it was a JPEG.  I will have to redo the textures and save them uncompressed.

 

7)  The blockiness around the lips are from the tintmasks.  I already increased the resolution to 1024 and removed the blockiness.  Higher resolutions showed no significant difference.  All the other things on your wishlist are on my to do list.

Yesterday it happened to me a glitch with the Beta of Elin race 2, a really Nice glitch..!

basically I can select all my 700 hair cuts for other races generic (Nord, Breton, YgNord, Etc..) and it still works now!

as well and as you can see the hair it is as if would scale perfectly on Elin race 2 headmeshe

How is possible this ?

I am using only Elin Race v2 and i can select the normal hairstyles + the elin hairs. I am not using the All In One pack.

Out of curiosity, if you remove the all hair mods except the AIO pack, does the hairs work with vanilla races?  It's interesting, but not uncommon, that other hairs (SG hairs) will show up on Elin 2 or some custom race not identified as a vanilla race.

I want to clarify the optional AIO hair pack for Elin race 2 ot yet installed,

 

I confirm that it works all my hair, SG 268 edition, Oblivion hair Pack, Tera-fix packs, Etc.. (over 700 hairscut), even the HDT hairs (Ponthial XP32, Meridia hair, and HDT Christie DOA ans Nenemune HDT hair optimized by Daiemonic), but I had a freeze with Meridia hair after a few second in showracemenu on Elin 2 Beta race.

 

before installing Elin Beta race 2 I have other custom race installed "Monli race v3 Enached" and x117 race, work with all hair pack very well..!

 

some screens: Monli race v3 Enached with Apachii hair and x117 race with SG hair  are all original Hair pack for vanilla, no conversion

The Monli can use custom hairs without the need to first modify or convert them.  The Elins, however, need to have the hairs converted.

I did not do any conversion as you can see from the screens you see all the fine hair, as if they were made​​, how they have adapted to latre also spoke about Elin 2

I don't know, but I do know that some hair mods will work without conversion, but the results are bald spots and parts of the hair clipping into the head.

 

Try this.

Start a new game, choose Elin 2, do not use the face/head sliders (do not customize the face and head), choose the HAIR slider and see if the hairs fit.

 

If the hairs have bald spots then that means the hairs work without conversion, albeit with glitches.

Edit: New game does work, however switching gender to female CTD's the game as well. It would seem that it is a problem with Elin's bodies..?

 

Deleting all meshes except those provided by this mod didnt help. Removing all mods except those that are required for this mod didnt help.

Are you using NMM?  Try manually installing just the main package.  Do not forget to add Race Compatibility either from the main pack or RC by TMPhoenix, if you are using that one.

Make sure you pick and install one of the Elin skeletons and the Tera Body.

The only mod dependency would be Race Compatibility.

 

If you can select the Elin race and choosing the female does not CTD then the likely reason you keep crashing is missing files (installation error using NMM).

 

Go ahead and install the other Elin mods.  If you start crashing, check that the additional mods were installed correctly.

 

Also, remember that if you choose the nude Tera Body, a plugin will be installed.  Should you install either the custom CBBE or UNP bodies, you will have another body-replacer plugin.  The one that is listed below the other in the load order is the one that adds the related body.  The best solution is to group together the Elin mod plugins and move the body plugin you want to use, last in that group.

CotS, Monli, or customize vanilla race using ECE.  I'm guessing the body is CBBE Slim or CBBE Petite.  Not sure about the texture.  Much of how the face looks is influenced by the textures.

Alright, thanks for the fast reply! I dont use NMM though, but will try reinstalling. But let me get this straight, Tera Body and Elin Skeletons are.. different things? I thought they were all skeleton files, I guess I didn't look carefully enough.

Good to hear.  If you crash when selecting a race or race gender in showracemenu, removing clothes, equipping clothes, or looting a body, the first thing you need to do is verify that the skeleton or correct skeleton (TBBP/BBP) and body mesh is installed.

Compatibility patch to fix the static Elin tail problem when equipping the cloaks from Winter is Coming.

Fixes the WiC plugins.  Does not change the WiC compatibility plugins for Cloaks of Skyrim.

 

Requirement:  Winter is Coming.

Installation

1. Install Winter is Coming and choose an option.
2. Extract the Elin Race Compatibility Patch archive and choose the option that matches the Winter is Coming option you chose in the previous step.

hmm, i did this yet still have some elin wearing cloaks that have straight rigid tails. i think the patch way've fixed a couple. not sure. but still some w/ rigid tails. i even console disabled and resurrected them. that fixed 1 fox tail, but it was rigid again after reload

Looks like WIC was updated after I released that patch.  The cloaks are assigned the same body slot as the Elin tails.  The patch changes the cloak's assigned slot so something changed that circumvented the patch.

I am aware that the image in the OP is from the character creation screen in Tera, but I was wondering if the armor/clothes in the image has been modded into Skyrim. I am currently using the 7B tbbp conversion of the Lustmord Armor set and it plays very well with the Elin HDT/CBBE Body, but I actually wanted to play a mage character with my Elin character.

I am currently using the 7B tbbp conversion of the Lustmord Armor set and it plays very well with the Elin HDT/CBBE Body, but I actually wanted to play a mage character with my Elin character.

 

That particular one can be found as part of a series of armors from Fox6000.

 

Fox 14 contains the outfit you're seeking, but in a different color and for CBBE Slim so make sure you one of the custom CBBE, Elin bodies.

Thanks for the quick reply PsychoMachina. Are the Fox6000 armors your best recommendation for Elin friendly armor? I'm currently downloading the Tera armor collection by asianboy but noticed most of hte models for the images were dem tall human folk.
