{UPDATE - Elin Voice v2.1 with Throw Voice Replacer Options} Tera Elin Race

Heya, I noticed some issues on the numenume hairs while taking a quick look via `showracemenu. Seems like the head doesn't quite fit the hair itself and some clipping is occuring. Also the (apachii?) mohawk appears to have a good inch or two of clearance from the head itself. This is while using the head morphs provided with the files you posted recently in this thread.

I will be getting to work on this project tomorrow evening and will post .esp's as they're completed. Lemme know if you wanted to fix anything else before i get started.

The AIO packs do not contain Numenume hairs or rather, not the hair mod itself.  I replaced the Numenume hairs with J Hairs which contains some hairs that are included with Numenume.

Can you provide screenshots of the "numenume" hairs that show clipping?

I know there are clipping and hovering hair issues with Apachii 1.4 (the same issues that I had with 1.3) and don't know why it's not consistent with 1.5.  I'm not going to dwell on it.  I'm working on the Elin 2 hairs and hoping to get more consistent, positive results.

Also, regarding Numenume hairs, if you install the original mod along with the Elin-Numenume hairs, you will get two sets of hairs, one of which will be riddled with clippings.  That is from the Numenume mod and can only be fixed by removing the Numenume plugin.

Hmm, you know what? I was being a dumb dumb. You called it ~ had original nume nume hair mod installed for another character and forgot about it. Btw, I'm interested in using mod organizer, however it seems to not work with ENB, requires some weird patching to use fomod... and the hdt/animation/pcea installs seem tricky. Is it worth the effort to switch over from the nexus mod manager?

Have a look here.  I prefer MO, but if I try to explain the pros of MO over NMM, I might confuse you more than help.  I'm good at showing, but terrible at telling.

For ENBs, use ENB Manager.  It can be launched from MO.

HDT/animation files/xpms/xpms extended can be installed like any other mod.  You can adjust their priority (left-side window) much like how you adjust their load order (right-side window) and because MO uses a virtual folder system, none of the files are physically overwritten or deleted by another mod.  You change the mod's priority to make HDT/xpms work with other mods.

The converted Elin armors do not contain robes and the fox armors are standalone.  Neither would replace the vanilla mages robes.

Did you try reinstalling the Elin NPC files?

Are you using BOSS or LOOT to sort your load order?  You can also try moving the Elin npc plugins lower in the load order.

And of course there is the, "can you post your load order?" question.

I think I've found the problem.

The mod that overlays the Master Robes is Armor pack IX FX117 for RCOTS, most armors work fine except for the Master Robes...

I used TES5Edit to manually remove the overlay of the Master Robes (for some reason, they still end up wearing a modded armor), but it seems that the added NPCs in the college are wearing other equipment that aren't working. I don't want to completely stop using the mod, perhaps there is a way I can check what those NPCs are wearing so I can remove the overlay?

Could always try to change those NPCs' assigned Outfit in the Creation Kit. I'd guess that their IDs have the word "Elin" in them so they can't be too hard to find.

Running into an issue with the combined ElinRace-ElinEaceTaint.esm: the ElinRace Enemy.esp & ElinRace NPC.esp both seem to require the Elinracetaint.esm still... is there a way you can update them to run off the combined .esm?

Removing a plugin's dependency is easy.

Important:  Make sure you have ElinRaceTaint.esm installed or else TES5edit and CK will show an error.  After you're done editing the plugins you can remove ElinRaceTaint.esm.

If you are using TES5edit, follow these instructions.

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day.

Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a life-time.

So the lesson is...you better love fish because that's all you'll be eating. :P

They look great with the new hairs.  I'm guessing the Housecarls still have the original hairs?  That reminds me, there is a Hearthfires addition of Elin_NPC.esp which contains the Rayya replacer.  It's available at the DLC Additions post.

Also, don't forget about creating new face tints.

Looks great so far.  I'll probably equip the NPCs with some of the fox armors and Asianboy345's Tera armors.

Heya, done with the NewNPC.esp as well.

Regarding the face tints... I have no idea how to create new face tints. I've been settling for loading "ElinRace - Use Monli custom BBP body.esp"(inactive file) with whatever elin expansion.esp(active file) I'm working on, then pressing ctrl+f4

9export face gen data) while selecting all the NPCs I've worked on.. This has consistently given me a head texture that very closely matches the body with very little or no neck seams.

Also, just wanted to note: for this batch of work, I'm only touching the character gen parts tab, not messing with any of the stats/inventory/ai/etc. So it shouldn't cause anything other than maybe unnaturally stylish hair on some bandits.

CTRL+F4 creates the face tints like what you are doing.  All you need to do is go to the Actors list (the list on the left window in CK) and under the Elin Race, click on FEMALE and the Elin NPCs will show up on the main window.  Highlight all of them then use CTRL+F4 to create the tints.

When your done, I'll create the face tints and repack everything.

Are you planning on working your magic on the Hearthfires NPCs and children?  I was thinking of changing the adoptable children to Elin 2.

After creating my Elin 2 character, I figured the children could do a make-over seeing how my Elin 2 pc looks so much cuter.

Keep up the great work and thanks.

Ok... to eliminate any confusion on my part here. Which file(s) exactly did you want me to take care of? There seem to be a few which pertain to the Hearthfire NPC/orphan children. And it seems I'm supposed to have already built the falkreath home before installing one of them?

2013Dec18_Dawnguard_ElinSerana.7z

- Serana replacer.

ElinRace NPC - Added Hearthfires Housecarl.7z

- Same as Elin NPC.esp, but with the addition of Housecarl Rayya.

Hearthfires-Elin Orphans-Lucia+Sofie.7z

- Hearthfire orphans replacer - replaces only the girls, Lucia and Sofie.

Hearthfires-Elin Orphans-All Girls Option.7z

- Hearthfire orphans replacer (alternative) - changes all 4 orphans into Elins.  Blaise and Alesan are now females, Bella and Alessandra.

Hearthfires-Lakeview Manor Extended-Elin NPC.7z

- Lakeview Manor Extended NPC replacers - replaces only female LME NPCs with Elins.  This does not replace any NPCs added by the game or other mods, only the female NPCs from the Lakeview Manor Extended mod.

Hearthfires-Lakeview Manor Extended-Elin NPC Complete.7z

- Lakeview Manor Extended NPC replacers - replaces all LME NPCs with Elins.  This does not replace any NPCs added by the game or other mods, only the male and female NPCs from the Lakeview Manor Extended mod.

Sky+DLC--Elin Mannequins v2.0.7z and Sky+DLC_No Hearthfires--Elin Mannequins v2.0.7z

- Mannequin replacers.  The first replaces the mannequins that comes with the Hearthfire homes.  The second replaces the mannequins from Skyrim and Solsthiem.

--------------------------------------------------------

The Lakeview Manor Extended mod requires you to finish building Lakeview Manor.  It does not have to be 100%.

Which ones to edit?

Serana and the orphans are the easiest because they're added by the DLCs.

The Lakeview Extended NPCs only if you want to go through the trouble of using that mod.

The mannequins are tricky because basically they are clones;  you can't assign different hairs for each mannequin.

In truth, do whichever you are able to do.

A bit busier today than expected. Btw, the ElinRace NPC.esp provided with that repack you did recently already has the falkreath housecarl in it.

EDIT: Got some more done:

Hearthfires-Lakeview Manor Extended-Elin NPC complete.esp

Hearthfires-Lakeview Manor Extended-Elin NPC.esp

P.S.

I have not tested any of these. Shouldn't be too much of a problem since I only edited the facegen parts and deleted the ElinRaceTaint.esm dependencies.

Thanks xheren.  I'll download and test what I can starting tomorrow.  I just finished the Elin 2 AIO hairs and I'm about ready to fall asleep on the keyboard.  This hair pack contains around 368 hairs and that does not include Miku, Tera Elin, Derivelin, and Merida hairs.  It'll be a long time before I'm going to work on any more hair packs.

Having problems with the Oblivian hairs.  The hairlines are pixilating (if that's the appropriate description).

Can anyone shed some light on the situation?  If not, I'm going to remove Oblivian from the AIO pack.

Provide a Link so i can look into the files? I'm thinking it's something akin to clipping between a scalp hair piece and the main hair piece itself. may be as simple as deleting a piece to fix it. Or might require reworking a mesh/texture.
