DFC Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Did you try this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33526/? ? IF you're using ECE, there should be an ECE addon that does the same thing, in the ECE mod page on nexus. As far as monitoring go, you could use the Skyrim Performance Monitor to check pretty much everything that goes on in the background. Just be sure to read the instructions of how to launch the game. I think that mod is included in the Elin Race mod, because I have a showRaceMenu_preCacheKiller.dll file in my SKSE plugin folder. Game doesn't crash when I enter showracemenu but after, it uses about 600-700 ram before I enter showracemenu and after I've gone through all the hairs it is at about 1.2gb ram then if I exit or continue to browse through the hairs again I crash. I dont know why skyrim crashes at around 1.2gb since there is more ram available.

PsychoMachina Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 UPDATE - Elin Bard v2.1 The Elin Bard is now compatible with FNIS v4.0.2 thanks to RSV. Uninstall the previous Elin Bards (unless you are still using FNIS v3.5). Install FNIS v4.0.2 then install Elin Bard v2.1. Run FNISGenerateForUsers.exe.
Loliconomous Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Hello! First I would like to start off by saying thank you very much for this amazing mod. I just downloaded it and it's really great, however I seem to be having some trouble getting the body to cooperate with me. I am trying to use the 2013Oct30 UNP Textures, but it simply wont work. I am sure I extracted it properly, and I'm getting an awkward issue with the hand size, it doesn't fit the body. http://i.imgur.com/S7yACYW.jpg Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
PsychoMachina Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 Hello Loliconomous The issue with the hands can be caused by the armor you are wearing, especially if the armor does not match the body you are using. Which Elin body are you using? If it's the one from the main pack, that would cause wrist and ankle gaps/seams no matter what armor you wear. The body is unique and does not match any CBBE or UNP bodies. The only armors that would perfectly fit that body would be the Elin converted vanilla armors which is included with the Fox Shop Merged Armors. If that is the case, you have two options: Wear gloves. Install either the CBBE or UNP bodies from the Elin New Body pack.
Loliconomous Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Her hands are messed up even when I'm not wearing armor, it was just to cover up her loli chest. I'm using the x1.0 scale default skeleton with tan smooth textures. I've tried the UNP Bodies but it doesn't seem to change her body at all.
PsychoMachina Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 You are using the Tera body which uses the tan smooth textures. This is the body that comes with the main pack. Look in your load order for "elin new body.esp" and "ElinRace - Use UNP BBP Body.esp" (if you installed the Elin UNP body) or "ElinRace - Use Monli custom BBP Body.esp" (if you installed the Elin CBBE body). The plugin that is loaded last will override the others. I'm guessing the "elin new body.esp" is loading after the UNP body plugin and overriding it. That is why you are still having problems with the hands. For now, deactivate "elin new body.esp" and use the plugin for the Elin CBBE or UNP body. When installing the main pack, don't install the nude option if you plan on also installing either the CBBE or UNP body pack.
Loliconomous Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Ah, I see. Thank you very much for your help!

In the original post, look under the section "PART 2 of 3 - Elin Race Additional Downloads and Installation Order" and you will see the link for "Elin Followers and NPCs". 2. This happens, but I have yet to find a reason. The earlier Elins used scale-down skeletons and the camera shifted to adult height. The current Elins used race-based scaling with the skeletons at x1.0 scale and the 1st-person camera will move higher or lower for some people.
PsychoMachina Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 I'll be removing the Elin Bard v2.1 for now as I have been notified by RSV that he is making some final improvements to how the behavior files are updated, installed, and uninstalled. The Elin Bard will be back.

Azzariel Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Is there a way to have "normal" eyes ? They look too big for me
PsychoMachina Posted November 10, 2013 Author Posted November 10, 2013 Hello Tonyfrost Not for these Elins, maybe for version 2, and definitely for version 3. However, version 2 requires ECE because of custom CME morphs and not everyone uses ECE or wants to so I just may proceed to version 3.
Azzariel Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Ok^^ I'll wait the version 3 then (I like the body shape) Thanks for answering
PsychoMachina Posted November 10, 2013 Author Posted November 10, 2013 FYI, the version 3 Elins are more human in appearance. Version 1 (current) - Anime-ish in appearance. Version 2 - Less anime-ish, more human in appearance (hybrid). Version 3 - Human in appearance. Also, version 3 will be part of the Girls of Tera featuring the Elins, Castanics, High Elves, and Humans.
Azzariel Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 And do you know approximately when the author will release the next version ? Is there a link where we can follow his work ?
Ikousai Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Where in riverwood is the foxshop? i cant seem to find it or the barrel :l
Azzariel Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Sure, here's the LINK. lol^^ You are the Author of this mod ? (I thought it was a Japanese mod O_o)
PsychoMachina Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 I'm not the original author, I was responding to "when the author will release the next version" part which is me. When will the next release be? As soon as I stop putting things on hold to help people with whatever problems they have with the Elins, Angeli Elin, and Monli. As for the author of the current Elins, Himika is the author of the summon ring and npc replacers. I know he played a part in modifying the original Elins, but I have been told that it was also a community effort. So the authors would be the 2ch community. The original Elins was made (ported?) by author(s) unknown, but I'm sure somebody, somewhere does know. Here is the link to all of the Elin mods. Some are not featured here. @Ikousai If you enter Riverwood on the path from Helgen, look to the far right and you will see the Fox Shop. It's behind the wood elf's house (forgot his name).
NagatoIzanagi Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 is it just me or there's no sound/voice for the dragonborn
PsychoMachina Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 is it just me or there's no sound/voice for the dragonborn The voice packs were made before Dragonborn was released. If there are no appropriate voice packs for Skyrim + all of the dlcs then one will have to be made. I know there are "unlocked" voices for followers at Nexus, but no child voices for players.
uguu123 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 PsychoMachina, what you think about this? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/47000//? its possible apply this to elins or its alot of work with hair meshes?
PsychoMachina Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 I had a look at the files and it contains only one hair so I'll check it out and let you know. EDIT The hair converter can't find the hair meshes. Edited the file paths in the Ponytail hair plugin, but that did not help. Maybe editing the race list will make some difference then again, maybe not.
