PsychoMachina Posted September 30, 2013 Author Posted September 30, 2013 That's good. I also found out that reinstalling the 1st-person skeleton also fixed the 1st-person camera. I would say this is another game bug, but at least it can be easily fixed.
ZigNewton Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 I can't seem to do anything without problems these days. So I just updated to all this new, fancy schmancy FNIS 4.whatever beta + Creature Pack nonsense, making sure to purge my old version, and I'm still getting this error when trying to run FNIS (As administrator) Reading ElinViolinist ...ERROR(2011): OLD FNIS version? Wrong line in Animation List, line 2 (..\..\meshes\actors\character\animations\ElinViolinist\FNIS_ElinViolinist_List.txt): + -a,k IdleStop_Loose I would like to assume it's an issue with the Elin Bard, how does one fix this? I also hope this is the only thing causing problems... it never is If it's not the fault of the Elin Bard mod, I guess I'll go bug Fore about this. I could probably figure it out if I had the mental fortitude to script, I feel like an idiot.
Smokermegadrive Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Fnis 4 beta is only for testing and modders no for usersyou need the 3.5 the most stable version
ambria Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Not been here for a while. Has there been any new fox armors or other cute elin / monli outfits? I know TERA has had a few new ones recently including swimsuits and schoolgirl oufits. Fingers crossed we'll see them on skyrim.
Smokermegadrive Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 There's already a schoolgirl and a swimsuit armor:Fox 18c: this have some gaps in the skirtFox 20: looks a little weird that they have muscle lol(My game looks bad because i have a very crappy pc)I don't think that any of those are from Tera, but if you want it, you can download these in the first page of this threadFor More armors:http://www.loverslab.com/topic/15220-armor-conversions-for-yii-techniques-labors-cots/Those are made for Cots but still look good on the elins if you don't mind some little visual issues(sorry my english)
PsychoMachina Posted October 3, 2013 Author Posted October 3, 2013 I think Ambria was hinting about any new outfits based on or ported from Tera.
Bosch91 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Hello. This might seem like very nooby question. But I'll ask it anyway since I can't find this anywhere. I just downloaded the elin voice pack, and I got a rar with .esp file, and a lot of .fuz files. My question is : where do I put these .fuz files to get them to work? Thanks in advance!
Wristyearth Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Could you explain what exactly is in the converted armors package? I cant seem to actually find the content. I thought it meant the vanilla armors were converted to the Elin body but all they did was scale down to the elin's size

Hello Bosch91 If you have the voice pack provided by Yurikokan, just extract and add the plugin and (2) folders to your Data folder (or use a mod manager). If you have the earlier mulitpack which contains 3 different voices + sample .wav files, just extract, pick a folder and add the contents to your Data folder. You mention a .rar file which means those files are not the ones I uploaded since I use 7zip (.7z). Can you upload the file(s) you have? I'll have a look at it. Could you explain what exactly is in the converted armors package? I cant seem to actually find the content. I thought it meant the vanilla armors were converted to the Elin body but all they did was scale down to the elin's size Hello Wristyearth The converted armors package contains some vanilla armors converted for the Tera body. You can craft the armors or, if you install Smokermegadrive's updated Fox Shop with Merged Armors, the Elin armors, maid outfit, and fox6000 armors can be purchased at the Fox Shop or found in a barrel near the Fox Shop entrance. EDIT I suggest using the Fox Shop mod since Smokermegadrive has made changes to the crafting items and armor ratings.

Thanks for replying I'll try that later. Anyway I got a bigger problem. I installed the mod, and I got this freaky error I can't seem to point out. There are elins in my game now alright. But everyone, including the player model have no animation and stands like a mannequin. Even when my character is walking around, there's no animation playing. I tried starting with a fresh install without any mesh or skeleton mod aside from elins and I got the same result. Side note : I did not install the bard elin nor the idle animation. I would provide screenshots, but I forgot to take a screenshot, and I deleted my game already...sorry. I'll get some screenshots later when I got the time to do them again. Again, sorry for the noob question. I'm very new to this. Thanks for putting up with me. ---------- Sorry, I meant .7z file - my bad.

Oh that's just you didn't run the FNIS Generator after installing all the animations. That's the obvious problem.
Bosch91 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Oh that's just you didn't run the FNIS Generator after installing all the animations. That's the obvious problem. Oh I see. Thanks! Sorry, but can you tell me which .exe file should I run? Is it that GenerateFNISforUsers.exe? if so, what should I do after I ran it? Thanks in advance.
PsychoMachina Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 Run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe then do the following: Click on Update FNIS Behavior to start the process. The main window will show the progress and the results when done. You will see 1 warning because of the new Elin skeletons. Just ignore the warning and do not install any of the recommended skeletons listed at the bottom. Click on Exit to close the Generator. Installing the shortcut is optional. Done. When installing any animation mods, the Elin Bard, and Elin Idle, you will need to run the Generator again. When uninstalling any animation mods, you will need to run the Generator again.
WizzyD Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 not really a fan of asking for eta's/release dates but when is the general estimate release for elin race 2.0?
PsychoMachina Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 I can't say, atm, because I need to make some new skeletons for swords and daggers on back, but currently I'm helping out with a new Elin mod. nsfw
Bashis Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 how hard would it be to make/get a cb++ preset of the elin's bodytype? it would be nice to be able to covnert bodyslide armors to fit the body, and not be limited to just what other people have converted.

Here are the presets. You will need the latest CB++ and the Venus Body Presets. New Elin CBBE Body Presets VenusBody+ElinBody Presets.7z Install CB++ Then the Venus Body presets. Overwrite with the Elin Body presets. The presets I used for the new Elin bodies are "VenusElin SlimCurvy" and "VenusElin BBP+TBBP Small2Big".

Uh, is this supposed to happen? Reading ElinViolinist ...ERROR(2011): OLD FNIS version? Wrong line in Animation List, line 2 (..\..\meshes\actors\character\animations\ElinViolinist\FNIS_ElinViolinist_List.txt): + -a,k IdleStop_Loose I swear I downloaded the latest version of FNIS...
PsychoMachina Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 The last stable version is 3.5 so use that one. If you have mods that require 4.0 then you need to decide whether to keep using that version and not install Elin Bard or keep the Elin Bard and revert back to FNIS 3.5. The author of the Elin Bard might update the animations for 4.0, but I can't say for certain right now.

Wrong line in Animation List, line 2 (..\..\meshes\actors\character\animations\ElinViolinist\FNIS_ElinViolinist_List.txt): + -a,k IdleStop_Loose I swear I downloaded the latest version of FNIS... This particular error message is not because of a wrong FNIS version. It's because this line of the AnimList is wrong. It was wrong with FNIS 3.5, and it's still wrong in 4.0. (Has to be "+ -a,k IdleStop_Loose <AnimFile>") The only thing that change is a more aggressive checking on the user level.

(Except there was a modding problems in 3.5, which was not detected by 3.5, but in 4.0. see the example before) The incompatibilities in FNIS releases were only between "4.0 beta 3 and before" and "4.0 beta 4.x & 4.0 final". And only if a mod had furniture animations (which didn't exist anyway in 3.5) So no reason to keep users from using FNIS 4.0. Which by the way IS the last stable version.

I have not tested 4.0, only the beta. I downloaded 4.0 and will test it with the Elin Bard when I have the time. I was not preventing anyone from updating FNIS that's why I suggested either to keep using 4.0 or revert back to 3.5 whichever would work for the individual. I saw no reason in telling people to "just keep using 4.0" if they are having problems when updating from a previous version that was working fine.
