If it'll help alleviate some of the common questions about issues you receive you could list how to fix them in the op? Like a FAQ of commonly asked questions, or a link in the op that directs them to a FAQ thread you create?

 

I don't know, it might help alleviate some of the annoyance of having to deal with so many questions all at once, I know that it'd probably wear on me too so a FAQ page would be what I'd do.

OH hey an update. I should go back into Skyrim. Got into FFXIV instead. So I'm going to do a little hunting on installing the new stuff over the old stuff, then make time on seeing how many ways my old save is going to break because of it. 

 

My major problem might be the custom companion I have linked to the old Elin race. Going to have to fire up the editor for that.

EDIT: There seems to be a typo for Rem in the installer.  The last options should be x1.0 but it reads x0.7 although the installer description is correct.

Yay nothing broke. Boo my UNP Tera armors doesn't match the body. Guess its time to craft something new. 

 

Where are the fox armors located?

Long time no see.  More updates are in the near future plus I started work on Girls of Tera.  If you downloaded the merged fox armors, they are now included with Fox Shop.  You can either purchase them from the merchant or find all of them in a barrel near the entrance.  If you don't know where fox shop is located, it's in Riverwood behind the wood elf's house.

 

WOOT Elin followers? Time to uninstall the Elin infestation and use these xP

 

EDIT: There seems to be a typo for Rem in the installer.  The last options should be x1.0 but it reads x0.7 although the installer description is correct.

 

Corrected the typos and the incorrect descriptions for some of Rem's options.  The scale information in the description are correct.  I was copy/paste the codes from the sisters to Rem and forgot to change parts of the description.

Totally off-topic for a moment cause I want to ask, I took a screenshot of my favorite character and it's 144k in size, I wanted to upload it here as my avatar but it tells me that only 50k size is the minimum. How do I reduce the size of my picture? Going to properties and compressing it didn't reduce it very much.

First you need to crop the pic so that it's square.  Then resize it to at least 200pixels x 200pixels (minimum dimension = 200px).  Finally save it as a jpeg making sure to adjust the compression so that the saved file is 50k.

Ok thanks. I'm still trying to learn blender and nifscope but I really am having a hard time with skeletons and body parts meshes.

 

It will take awhile considering I need to edit 6 different skeletons.

Nope, that's my character*. I just made some adjustments to my game to allow greybeard clothes to appear in my inventory and equip them, and my character is an old man who's back story is that he was once a great and powerful warrior and used to be a Companion, but as he got older, his muscles began failing him so he could no longer wield his great 2h axe or his heavy armor. So to continue enjoying and being in battle, he left the Companions in search of ways to be a warrior once more, so he joined the Mages College at Winterhold and now wields the power of Destruction and Alteration magics to his advantage, growing older, he decided to join the Greybeards, meditating outside of the gates to High Hrothgar, the Greybeards recognizing his willingness for patience and wisdom, brought him into their ranks, as he mastered the Way of the Voice.

 

My characters name is Freljord White-mane.

The maid gloves appears to "unpolished" in that there are some visual problems besides missing hand animations.  It would seem whoever ported this, if that is the case, did only enough to make it playable in Skyrim.  I have no experience in adding or fixing animations so if anyone with experience is willing to help out then you are welcome to improve the Elin maid gloves.

I guess I want to know how important the ECE dependencies are. If CGE has the morphs of ECE, does that mean I should just use CGE instead?

Any way to lift first-person camera a little higher?

 

When I have the time, I'm going to test out this mod, Player Size Adjustor and First Person Camera Height Fix,  but in the meantime, you can test it to see if it will adjust the 1st-person camera.  You either activate it without setting the Elin's scale and the mod will adjust the 1st-person camera according to the Elin's scale or you need to set the scaling to make the 1st-person camera adjust itself.

Nvm, this does not fix the 1st-person camera.

 

Before I update, I'm just curious - You listed Enhanced Character Edit as a requirement, but I also reeeally want to have CharGen Extension... is it safe to have both installed at once, or should I use one over the other? I guess I want to know how important the ECE dependencies are. If CGE has the morphs of ECE, does that mean I should just use CGE instead?

 

Chargen Extender would be useless because the Elin have custom head morphs.  You can try if you want, but if CE is pretty much the same as ECE's face morphs then it will not work on the Elins.  ECE and RaceMenu is only needed for the body morphs.  The new skeletons and bodies I made can be customized with the extra body sliders (except WAIST and NECK WIDTH).

TEST - 1st-Person Camera Fix

 

If anyone is experiencing an unusually low 1st-person camera view, try this edited 1st-person skeleton.

I did not change the scaling or height of the camera.  I did raise the skeleton itself and that fixed the low 1st-person viewpoint, but the new viewpoint is slightly higher than the approximate, true midpoint.  I'm guessing this this is just another Skyrim bug affecting any change to vanilla race scaling and/or height.

 

Installation

Extract and add to the Data folder or simply install with NMM.  Allow overwriting of the old skeleton.nif file.
