I am givng this another start since it is so well recommended :)

But now I am stuck in the very first time I am the whorehosue. tied to teh X.

gristle talked to me to "bear it" and then Lindstrom is talking to me but he is either invisible or not in the room and is asking me if i will be any trouble.

But there is no way for me to answer no mater how often I push "E".

And the scenc just stays stuck (nice realistic room by the way)

"Completed Lucky Day" notification just stays up too and does not disappear.

Also I cannot see if he is even in the room.= its just me there tied to the X, and he talks.

I tried to relaod form an earlier save but no luck same result.

No XDI on this profile.

That this part is very well tested. It only occurs to me that you have a mod that interrupts Lindstrom's path.

Commonwealth Captives? Careful, I don't recommend it anymore.
Any mod that "improves" the artificial intelligence?

I recommend you also "interior navcut fix" in Nexus, just in case.

And yes, a reload at the moment Gristle says goodbye would be nice to test again.

Thank you. I did TFC and he is standing right on the other side of the wall. I do have CW captives but I turned it off for the mod. I will uninstall, restart vortext, restart compiuter and return to a save just before

EDIT : I was wrong. CW captives is disabled.

SetStage _CS_House 120

That console command should suffice for now until we know what is causing the path problem.

(the bug will probably come back another moment. Another problematic mod is sex harrasment, it may be grabbing Lindstrom).

Thank you. (sex harrassment is disabled, also I do not have sim settlements) I will use the set stage :)

It happened again on the last man in that introductory work shift. He stood right in from of her but she was unable to reply. :(

You have to consider making a mod list with mods dedicated to this one (as my recommended ones). IF you consider it worthwhile. There are so many mods out there that edit (or... 'fix') things like dialogs, cameras, behaviors, that you don't know where the bug comes from. You are having problems in a part that was hardly modified since version 1 (which I remember you played).

In the meantime, use the guide on the mega page from where you downloaded the mod, there are all the stages.

In your case, the correct one is:

After Servicing - Lindstrom In          SetStage _CS_House 210

I agree with your premise. And this is what I tried to do :)

I culled my mod list from 300+ down to 136 to play your quests.

I cut out all mods that are known to be problematic.

A great many of the remaining mods are clothes, looksmenu presets and mods, billboard/paintings,

I carefully curated my list to eject mods like XDI, AFT, Settlers enter armor, anything that changed dialog or AI.

I also took out all landscape and precombine breaking mods, all mods that add extra NPCs (no NPCs travel, no Atomic World, no Tales of the Commonwealth, no scrap evertyhing, no clean settlements mod,  no Settlers of the Commonwealth, no Diamond City Expansion, no Immersive Lexington etc, etc)

For what it's worth, I play with XDI and DC Expansion (to have more clients, although some NPCs in that mod don't have good packages).

One day I'm going to sit down and post more recommended mods.

It is a bit of a long shot, but do you have by chance Problems of Survivor still active? That one caused me several problems when playing this mod.

Good tip, however that is also disabled.

I love DC expamsion :)  but usually have troubles with it

An idea: consequences for the implants - increase approach chance in Sexual Harassment even after the mod is finished.

Also, is there any "in-game" way to remove the implants after the mod ends and PC goes free? Some surgeon?

I've been thinking about your bug in the room. Just in case, the raider appeared when you were looking elsewhere? That might explain why the dialog ended, and I might have the solution for that (extending the dialog area).

I must have missed it: What was the problem Captives was causing? I use it for ambiance 😁

I'm in the cage after having the implants, and can't activate the dialogue with Lindstrom, so can't progress. Any workaround for this?

Lindstrom should say his dialog when approaching the cage. If for some reason he didn't, you can try these two setstages acording to the SetStage Guide.

Start Lindstrom Scene    SetStage _CS_Castration 260

Start VIP SetStage _CS_Castration 270

They can spawn behind Lindstrom's bar and interrupt his path. But taking that out shouldn't be a problem. Another moment where I personally don't like it is on the bridge where an occasional Gristle customer spawns. Although that's my fault since those clients have raider faction and the mod does what it does.

You can always use the teleport Lindstrom from the mod menu, it's what I've been doing. The only annoying part about Captives is that they keep talking to you if you're near them, but since you added your own raider slaves yeah Captives kinda becomes irrelevant.

Posted

They can also spawn in some pretty silly scenes. When I was doing the digging scene Gristle appearantly decided to bring another slave, and a big damned cross to hang her up on, just for decoration. Why couldn't she do half the digging? It's like slavery is unfair or something...

Make sure you followed the installation instructions precisely. That entails following this guide to get AAF working properly first:

  1. Check the "Enable modding in Fallout 4" section from that guide to make sure those settings are correct.
  2. Scroll down to the "Pre-Basic Requirements" section and make sure you've got all the required DLC installed.
  3. Scroll down to the "Basic Requirements" section and make sure you've got all of the mods listed as required (as well as any mods those mods might require) installed properly.
  4. Click here to go to the Commonwealth Slavers mod page.
  5. Scroll down to the "Hard Requirements" section and make sure you have all of those mods (and their requirements) properly installed.
  6. Scroll down to the "Soft Requierements" section and install any of those mods (and their requirements) which you'd like to add.
  7. Scroll down to the "Recommended Mods" section and install any of those mods (and their requirements) which you'd like to add.
  8. Start up Fallout 4 via your mod manager, start a new character. Wait until all of the mods have loaded and all pop-ups have been taken care of before continuing.
  9. Either run through the vanilla tutorial or use SKK Fast Start to get out of Vault 111.
  10. Talk to Murphy. Accept the Commonwealth Slavers warning pop-up. Get enslaved.

This is about as short and concise as I can make it. Anybody want to check and see if I'm missing anything (or wrong)?

Jarnin's post is about very concise and does a good job of a very quick guide to follow to get it working, about the only thing i would

add is when you install Commonwealth Slavers is to make sure to install the source code.

most people will not need it installed, but sometimes it helps (even if you are just playing the mod) as for some unknown reason

some setups just do not work right without it.

also 2 mods that are incompatible with Commonwealth Slavers that are not listed on main page are Tales From The Commonwealth

and Commonwealth Settlers as both put new (essential) NPCs in and by Diamond City, and other locations.

Stuck right after you get taken to the whore house, Lindstrom will talk but no option will pop up to answer. Also lucky day completed stays on the screen.

if you are on the cross and this is right after Gristle talks to you then Lindstrom comes in and talks to you?

something that i always have to do is switch camera modes (then make sure i end in 1st person view) and wiggle the view around to

get the responses to show up.  for me it is a very narrow spot i have to be looking at to get the responses to show on screen.

if that is no the problem i do not know offhand.

edit

sorry for the 2 posts in a row but for some reason my first post lost the 2nd response.

end edit
