JB, I have a bug report to file.

 

If the option 'BLOCK WHIPPING SCENE' is ON, the first sex scene with Murphy during 'Lucky day' (CS_Thorns 140) leads to infinite black screen with vault-tec loading logo on right bottom. (Though I could pause by pressing ESC key, which means the screen was not actual loading screen).

I was planning on a modlist with Commonwealth Slavers and Nuka Ride with Raider Pet. The plan was to do CS first and then move on to NR. RP would be used during NR, but not during CS. RP roleplay would be just for post-combat defeats until I escape, and I wouldn't be doing NR content while RP was active. JB, would this be more compatible with your authorial vision? If so, would it be OK to upload the RP patch to the optional section of your downloads page?

Install Raider Pet better after finishing this mod. Because while my patch stop RP dialogue, can't stop its script from kickin. It loses fun when no one attacks you during your outings in Slavers. 

 

I'm not going to put the patch online because people are going to re-install it, RP will put them into a non-aggressive faction and users are going to come here to report it.

 

And I no longer want to waste hours of my life chasing non-existent bugs.

I get that bug often in my actual playthrough (but with AAF) and it is quite frustrating. Has it happened to you once or several times in that specific scenario? So I'll check if you already checked it more than once.

So, question. I'll put it in spoiler-tags since it involves story-spoilers and it was a delight going blind into this and I wouldn't want to ruin that aspect for anyone.

I did the "true ending". Everything was awesome and epic. Honestly it didn't vibe with my playthrough since I was roleplaying that Vaultmeat was *genuinly* broken and going all Rambo wasn't in the cards, but I wanted to see it, so I played through it and then reverted to an earlier save and choose the simple out with Grisle instead. My original plan was to continue playing as a slave until the snuff ending. But Lindstrom wouldn't give me any new quests. So actually, that makes this two questions... What's up with that? Did I miss something? Was I supposed to go to bed or something before continuing? I might go back to that save at the point of decision, as there are two slaver missions I never did, and also to see the snuff ending but I got distracted by the prospect of continuing into NR, so I did that instead.

 

But my original question was actually this, and it is entirely story-related rather than technical... Vaultmeat acted like General Becket was her arch-nemesis or something. But I don't remember ever seeing him before? Was that maybe from the two missions I never got to go on before Grisle offered me an out?

Come to think of it, if you didn't do the "Runaway Slave" mission, you most likely didn't meet General Becker. 

 

In any case, you will see him again if you play "The Scientist" the first time. 

 

But, now that I think about it, technically you can reach the points needed for the True Ending if you haven't done The Scientist, but by repeating the old quests. 

 

That might explain why you never met Becker. 

 

For the ending you want, you have to reject Gristle's proposal (to be free or to help him in his fight), and he puts you back in the Whore House, where you will stay forever. 

 

Obviously at this point there are no new quests, you just have to ask Lindstrom to give you quests or tell him that you are going to select the quests. One of the quests is to go outside for x amount of time, where Trudy and Wolfgan can give you two new quests, btw.  

 

I'm about to start the final quest sequence, so I'll try rejecting his proposal and see if I can continue, to see if there's a bug there.

I would bet folding money that you missed a few jobs.

 

Commonwealth Slavers has a set number of Raider Jobs you need to complete before Gristle will offer you his "special jobs". By default, the number of jobs required is 15, but it's been set to 15 for quite a long time; many new jobs have been added since then. So, if you repeated any jobs during your play through, it's very possible that you were offered an out before you saw all of the jobs. It happened to me in my current game: I forgot to increase the number of jobs, I repeated two jobs by choice, then I got Gristle's special mission before getting a chance to see The Pit or The Scientist. I ended up reverting and increasing the number of jobs needed.

 

If you want the full experience, you really need to play through the mod multiple times and choose different paths. While they're not dramatically different, they're different enough that - if you really enjoyed the mod - it's worth seeing everything. Increase the number of jobs; maybe try 30 instead of 15. Maybe try playing with options you didn't last time.

Yup. I compared the list of availible quests to those I had done. The Scientist and Runaway slave are exactly the two I missed, that I mentioned in my post. Well. I kind of figured it had to be that. I did do both Trudy's and Wolfgangs quests though.

 

Edit: And to clarify, with "New quests" I mean he wouldn't give me any quests at all.

Yup. When I first started having a choice I didn't click "Do you have anything new for me?", instead I picked from the list of quests I had already done before realising I wasn't getting any new ones and that there was an obvious option for that.... So I did VIP twice, and the peaceoffer twice and reached 15 before I had seen all the quests. Had I realised I would have raised it.

Yeah, definatly. I already have two more playthroughs planned out. One where I'll be as rebellious as I'll survive and aim for the true ending, and one where I'll just be as obidient as I possibly can and reach the snuff ending. I alternated somewhat in my first playthrough since I didn't know what to expect from the start, playing by the seat of my pants so to speak. Remember, I'm the guy who installed this and thought I had just installed an expanded Raider Pet when I started this savegame.😆

But to me my first playthrough is always my own personal Canon. That's why the Dragonborn in my head will always be a nord warrior-mage, and Ciri is wandering the multiverse. So my personal canon for Nora as a slave will always be this playthrough. It's more honest and organic when you aren't planning out your path ahead of time.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I've been trying to download the latest version of Commonwealth Slavers and my firewall and virus protection kept knocking it out of my downloads folder and sending a warning message.

So, I turned both off and downloaded the 7zip file. But when I tried to open the archive with 7-zip to see if something strange got inside, I got this message.

Putting in more options was going to take a long time, I decided to do the scene you suggested and remove the orgy which was very "player centric" when it is true that it should be Ivana centric.

 

I did the two swaps you suggested too.

That looks more like your browser, not Mega. I have run windows defenders and there is no virus. Anyway lately I have seen a lot of false positives here and on Nexus. Just look at the top rated mods of the week comments to get an idea.

By the way, from start to finish and the beasts are still aggressive. I had to run from dogs on the way to a Gunner base to sell drugs. I take it for granted that the "no one attacks me" bug came from the Raider Pet side.

Windows Defender was updated and now it causes false positives.

This "anti virus" software is shite. It always was and hasn't changed. So go bitch at Microsoft and get them to fix their shite. No really! They get enough complaints they "might" fix it.

Oh, and if you don't want a virus, don't use edge. Use a different browser with a ad blocker.

@lee3310 There seems to be a problem with the navmeshes in Slavers Valley. With your patch active, Pike is having trouble getting in. In the end he ends up taking another route and enters through the cave.

By all other standards, the Slavers Valley patch is perfect. 

I didn't get the chance to play that part of the mod yet and i don't think i will be able to do that in at least 5-6 weeks 🥲. The patch should be using the navmeshes provided by @izzyknows i didn't make any extra changes to them, but maybe something got corrupted along the way (after previs).
So @izzyknows if you can take a look at it that would be great (only edit CS_SlaverValley_Patch.esp). I may be able to work on it in a couple days (1 week max) but i can't test it.

Man, I always thought you started editing the place because you played it.  :grimace:

Testing for something else, but, Raider Pet is not active on this run, and the only things that are hostile are scorpions, deathclaws, and if attacked, DC Guards & scripted hostiles.. ie: Combat Zone Raiders.

This is normal for being in the captive faction. IF it was from raider pet, as soon a weapon was equipped the PC would be removed from that faction, and shite would get ugly real fast. LOL

But I can walk anywhere with weapon drawn without aggroing anybody. Even when Raider, Gunners, Super Mutants..... are fighting whatever.

Other than the exceptions listed above, I can kill any NPC without the rest getting pissed. (rather fun in my opinion)

Finished, took freedom at Vault 111.
Still stuck in the captive faction. Not saying it's CS.. but don't "think" I have any mods that do that. Keyword... think!

Running into an issue not sure if anyone else has had it before. I'm doing the first porn studio mission and the first few scenes are fine, but the game crashes at I think the 3rd or 4th scene. The first is a threesome, then the next is the strap-on scene with Ivana, and then the third is a scene with one guy on the round table. Then after that one of the characters says "you thought we were done" or something and the game crashes. Am I missing an animation pack for the next scene? If it helps the crash log says:

 

Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x7FF761760FF3 Fallout4.exe+26F0FF3

 

Appreciate any help and I apologise if the solution has been answered or is really obvious.

My only suggestion is to uninstall the AAF patch you are using (UAP, Indarello's, etc) and try again.
