So yeah, most of my mods are weapon, armor, character building, settlement build, a few ui and the usual suspects from here. I had gotten rid of  anything that would spawn npcs in. The only culprit that I though may be doing it was the new AI mod that improves npc actions, and I uninstalled it before I even tried this, I thought it may have not uninstalled right, or had leftover code so I completely reinstalled a fresh game then my updated modlist, Now the game hangs on load of new world

 

I may not get to play this.

I have that installed too that part always played with Murphy. Might be version specific.

Does anyone know the questnames for the console? I'm at the Diamond City security office where I am supposed to follow Gristle but everytime I follow him in control is taken away from me and nothing else happens, Gristle and Dwaynes don't do anything.

 

Ok I fixed it by typing in

 

SetStage _CS_DC 140 and whatever wasn't working got skipped

Ok I fixed it by typing in

Try not to skip that quest stages. It could mess up later on. Load a save just before entering the jail area and follow gristle stay close to him and stay in 3rd person. Chances are camera probably just broke.

Hey @JB.

 

Finally found some time to try this and am really digging it so far, my only issue is every time he puts the collar on it shocks me to death regardless of what dialogue options I chose. :( 

 

Playing in survival mode.

 

Edit: Updating real handcuffs seems to have fixed it. Great work JB!

Hey man, good to have you back here!  Here's the latest version.  

 

 

A version of Real Handcuffs (specifically one of the official patches) had a bug with its keywords. 

 

You can update Real Handcuffs, there is a new version since the beginning of 2023 where it is fixed.

 

Or go to the MCM, Cheat section. And modify the first option ("Armor and Weapons Workbenches") so that the mod allows you to use clothes.

@JB. Ok disabling UAP leito and using the leito stage fix. I am now able to use anal animations in the whorehouse. Just hope my other mods relying on UAP don't give issues. But so far so good.

 

Edit: One more small text discrepency when you go to dr duff the first time and you ask her how much she will pay you she say 200 caps and 2 jet instead of 3 jet.

My canonical Nora made it to the whorehouse. I have to say, @JB. This is very similar to some ideas I had back when I was still planning to add quest content to TSEX, (HA!) The idea of being confined in one small location held by raiders specifically. It's really perfect. Bravo.

I know you use UAP, i wonder if that overwrites the part in 50 Shades of Fallout v1.0.5 that is causing the problem.  I tried putting that mod above any other animation mods I had installed and it didn't make any difference on advancing the quest until I disabled it completely.  I believe version 1.0.5 is the latest version and I don't know which version you have.  This was done on the version 1.9.5 of Commonwealth Slavers.

I was actually thinking that aswell. I think it does patch it. I am at that exact spot now with a new character will quickly check.

 

edit: Yep went through that bit now no issues.

It's probably still worth noting as a conflict on the Main page.  I'm fairly new to FO4 modding, (Done lots in skyrim) so I hadn't realized the animations could be an issue.  It took me forever to check them and find the issue because of it, but it's good to know that UAP will fix it.

Are you using some other mod that patches 50 Shades (like maybe Indarello's Patch for Animations)? I just find it odd that simply having the 50 Shades pack installed would cause problems for a CS interaction.

It's a good idea to become very familiar with the workings of AAF XMLs because they are very prone to conflict issues, but also, are easily edited and bent to your will which allows the end user to tweak them to their liking. Don't like a stage? Get rid of it... Think the alignment could be slightly better? No Problem. Wish the whole scene would default to 180 degrees the other direction? Easy. It's one of the very few things I missed about Fallout 4 modding when I started working with Sexlab.

 

That said, as a mod author I didn't miss debugging situations like this.

Hey @JB. I was wondering if you wanted any english polish? Nothing like with Nuka Ride, mind you as I understand why that interfered with your process, and also I am soooo done loading the FO4 CK... but when I am playing if I come across something that could easily be improved would you like me to send you a screenshot? For instance:

This would probably be better as: "Looks like we got a real wildcat here. You wanna play rough? I wish you would. Try me!"  You can lose the "real" if it makes it too long or you don't like it, it just adds a bit of emphasis.

 

I think wildcat sounds much more natural and is closer to a typical phrase. Lioness sounds very formal and stilted like something a rich erudite person would say, not a raider.

 

BTW... I absolutely love the way the roleplaying is handled here. Seriously man... you're the only other person who's dialogue mmods I can enjoy. :D

Update, So I did what ya said and took the mods down to CS and its required lot, the UI/Utility mods and what I need to maintain my toon, and after some witchery on my end to get F4 to run, no fault of this mod, just F4 being F4, they finally stopped fighting out of the gate.

 

I have to say, this is Awesome, have some issues with dialog hanging and found f5 and f9 and pick up where I left off. Was it bit disappointed at the blackout screens when things happen (I really wanted to see the branding). That would have been a serious pain to code and animate.  I made it to the Whore House and am left stuck on the x-cross wondering if its an extended wait or if something is supposed to happen.

 

Removing the Real AI didn't fix it, Has anyone reported anything on Bound in Public, Advanced Needs, or Wasteland Dairy?   Those are the 3 big ones that may have bugged it out but in truth, I went from over 400 mods to around 100 and have no Idea what it could have been.

 

Anyhow, Thank You for this mod and all the Help thus far, you have no idea how long I have waited for a serious mod like this.

That said, as a mod author I didn't miss debugging situations like this.

I find myself continuously surprised at how much difference there is between the two games considering they use the same engine.  Sexlab for it's faults, is also very straight forward and easy to use, unlike the AAF system.  I actually expected a ported version of sexlab when I first came to FO4.  There is definitely a learning curve to using the AAF systems and FO4 modding in general.  I have had to reduce my modlist to the bare minimum to get JB's mods working and I wasn't attentive enough when I started adding mods back.  Part of the issue is I don't have the clean save points for testing.

Thanks for the advice on XMLs.  I've now played though both mods, (this one and Nuka Ride) and I'm still in the process of setting up a load order that doesn't give me issues. and is stable.   They are both fantastic additions to a world that begs for this type of content.  Bethesda's world building is awesome, but their story-lines could use work

SexLab and AAF both have their qurks, but I always found that SexLab was a ton smoother in its execution. Kinda wish it would have been ported tho I would miss the ability to make a random orgy in Diamond City the way I can with AAF. Just bringing up the window and picking randoms off the street is nice.

no i have various animation packs, but I don't believe any of them patches 50 shades.

Hey good to know.  I'm still in the middle of the learning curve with AAF.  One of the things I've learned is that the rules or good practices I used in  SSE don't necassarily tranlate to FO4 modding.

No they are their own separate demons, but in reality, SL does have an amount of polish that I hope AAF will get in time. SL has had its rough patches as it grew.

I am guessing that I have another problem, Made it to the house, screen goes black, Gristle is gone and I am stuck on the cross with no actions available.  Is there an extended wait for G to get back or is something supposed to happen?  I tried to advance with console and nothing happens, I am just slowly dyeing cause of this head injury when I got captured.

I am almost convinced that you are playing version 1.0.9. While that version works and is stable, it does not get along with any mod that is affecting raiders in Lexington. That causes the second quest to not start, as it needs raiders in Lexington.

 

 

This is fixed in the new version. So my suggestion is to install the latest version (1.9.7), restart and remember there is a point where you can skip the whole walkthrough and stop at the Whore House.

Man, that would be an honor. But if you want to correct the grammar you could do it with version 1.9.7 which is practically version 2.0.0 that I will publish soon in Loverslab. For example, that message box is now removed and becomes a real dialog.

I am running 1.9.7    I took everything that affected NPCs out of my loadorder. I am begining to think this new pc is cursed.

 

Edit, Mine is 1.0.9.7   so it may be that. getting the file from mega and se how it goes.
