I'm only playing Fallout 4 today cause I am sick and felt too shitty to work. I've been learning Renpy cause I am ready to make my own games that don't rely on Bethesda, also my current Fallout 4 setup is ultra fucked (I'm getting massive framedrops outdoors and shit... dunno if it's cause I stopped using ENB or what) so don't expect anything soon, but when I get my new PC I'll setup a new Fallout 4 load order and give this a new playthrough when I do I'll send over anything I find. It's not bad though overall... here and there I see problems with plurals and such but overall your slang and whatnot are quite a bit better than in Nuka Ride.

 

I was surprised by the cleaning orders. Reminds me of the stuff I added in the Notice me senpai Hardship update. All the timed deadline events are great too.

I have changed from Google Translator to DeepL and the improvement is remarkable hehe.

  • I finally had the chance to play the game from beginning to end to finish adjusting details. 
  • I had to lower the value of the Slavers Jet. "The Pet" mission becomes too easy if you go to Drumlin Diner to sell those golden Slavers Jets. 
  • It also makes "The Scaver" mission finish too fast. Medium Sized analyzes the total value of your inventory to proceed to the next stage. With a handful of Slavers Jet you would have items of too much value that would end the mission too fast.
  • I was able to reproduce a rare bug when Linstrom puts piercings on you for the first time, he repeats the dialogue at the beginning of The Whore House. This bug only happens in the submissive route. 
  • I reproduced the radroach bug in the Whore House and took measures to avoid it. I think I even got one in servo! At least I think so because his bones are all stretched out.

shame about the slaver jet prices. Can't buy and sell prices be seperately calculated or maby make them buyable but not sellable after that is possible right ?  I see it like most folks gained by the slave trade and now that its pretty much gone no one want to be associated with it hench they don't want to be seen buying a drug that fueled that trade. Most folks have modded games and to get scrap during the petwalk is pretty much easy regardless one or two mailboxes and I have so much ammo and trash to sell. I can balance that by increasing the respawn timer on that mod so thats not a big deal.

 

The reason I asked for higher prices is I am a sucker for punishment. My druggy must have a hard time and have to struggle to afford that drug. The world drop rates are perfectly fine its still pretty rare but available. Can you maby then decrease the amount of jet the dude at dumlin sells. He sometimes have up to 20 of em that is way too many. The other vendors are fine they usually have between 0-2 That way you don't have to worry to much about the price and it still be hard for the junkies out there.

Not sure how that would work as the buy and sell prices are just a % value of the base price item. It may be possible to change the "Junkie" perk in add an increased buy value, but that would affect all items and not just Slavers Jet.

 

It is also pretty easy to change the amount Wolfgang sells to what ever you would find enough for your playthrough.

Yeah no If its not possible the first part is all good. Reducing Wolfgangs stock is the easiest route. Because the world drops are perfect. I do find them and even with my trash respawns they are still pretty rare which is good. If wolfgang sell at max 3 or so at a time it would force the player to actually look for some. instead of just buying it non stop. That way changing the prices does not really unbalance the junkie path. I actually also like your idea of an increase in buy value added to that junkie perk. That is actually a pretty damn good idea. That is exactly what a drug dealer would do. Junkies will do anything for their fix and dealers knows these things. So linking it to the junkie perk is genius.

@JB. Skipping CS1 and going to the dumlin diner. There is no one there. v 1.9.8 during a pet walk and after completing CS.

Honestly @JB. You should get a job at inXile with some of the shit you come up with. I'm absolutely loving this. I particularly thought that Pest control was brilliant.

Ok this works but Trudy and wolfgang is hostile towards each other as soon as you get close. will test the other bit on another character quick.

 

Edit: Ok nvm was able to solve the first issue. I loaded a save where I was not outside already. and that worked. As for the slavers jet you can up it a tiny bit maby like 60-70%. He now only have one. I though maby luck etc migh affect it but testing it no it does not. 

 

Edit:2 Ok no it seems stats does affect it. He didn't have many because my stats were very low because attributes and I had a bunch of huge minuses on my stats. So you can leave it at 50% he have about 10 on a very high luck score character. So that is perfect. So basically both problems solved. When you include the fix for missing people at the diner just make a note to tell folks to load a save before going outside or they will be hostile.

I haven't tested, but adding the VendorItemNoSale keyword to the base form might prevent selling it to vendors... though I'm not sure if that will also prevent vendors from selling it (hopefully not as long as it's in their vending lists rather than local inventory).

@JB. LOL Ok found something weird during the walk through the lab with Dwayne. When he shows you Jared in the room. Jared is outside and one of the poor synth guards are sitting inside.

After finishing NR went back to before I did the 'bad' end for CS, so did the harvester and the correctional.  Crashed a couple of times, speaking to Dwayne after killing to Dr, and the story didn't advance (such as when Becker appears in the lab, he stopped talking to Dwayne).  But I overcame those by reloading, at the end of the correctional you get put in the stocks, Dwayne tells you what is going to do, the correctional comes up saying it has finished and then the end message stays on screen and it the quest actually doesn't complete.  I have setstage list but it stops at the harvester as it is for CS 1.5. 

 

I assume this is where it used to stop, which would have matched where I was when I did the bad end, so can I not finish CS due to that or is there something I am missing?  If it is something I am missing is there a Setstage to take me finish the correctional and go onto the final quest?

Make sure you got the latest update. And just wait a minute or two. Look to the left you will see medium floating your way. he takes a little bit of time to come but he will. Just be patient

That's right, and that Quest Completed sign is not because of me. It's vanilla behavior. Like when you win a quest and you have the pibpoy open. The sign doesn't disappear until you exit the pillory. 

 

It's like when an NPC enters a door and the door is unavailable for a few seconds. I've been amazed when people report it to me (in Nuka Ride) like it's my thing.

You have to share one day your mod list, I want to keep an eye on it. Some buffout log will do. You have the same symptom of another user and that is that your dialogs are interrupted, which causes jams. 

 

Since my mods are 99% dialog based I would like to know which mod is screwing up the natural flow of conversations.

Did not encounter any problems until I reach the porn studio quest. Game now crash after speaking to murphy to get inside the building. I tried manually typing SetStage _CS_Porn 115 but still encounter the same problem. I thought it was something to do with entering the studio but I tried the snuff quest and found that I can go in without crashing so not sure what went wrong. Is there someway I can work around this? Below is my crash log. Thank You!

I find the original log more useful. 

 

In the meantime, experiment with this. 

 

  • TGM -god mode so the collar doesn't kill you on the next step-.

 

  • COC 00PornStudio

 

With that command you will enter the studio on your own. 

 

Then:

Murphy gets teleported into the studio but not Snoopy, then the game crash again. However I can continue with the quest if I skip SetStage _CS_Porn 115 by typing COC 00PornStudio followed by SetStage _CS_Porn 120. Murphy will not be in the studio but the conversation will play and I can continue on to stage 125.

Give more priority to Commonwealth Slavers. It is 11th on your mod list. You have more than 100/150. I'm surprised the mod has gotten this far with so many quest mods doing thumb wrestling on your save.

 

What your first log pointed out and this log continues to point out, and added to the fact that you tell me that you have a CTD after a few seconds, it seems a problem with AAF.

 

Within seconds of entering the studio, AAF runs a scene between two actors The scene takes place on a round table and as far as I know, UAP always throws an error because that animation is not available in that patch (I don't use UAP, I use the Indarello patch, which I personally find more up-to-date, along with Leito Patch from Tentacus ).

 

At the moment, do not use the latest version of AAF, but version 166.

Alright replacing UAP works. I think the CTD was because of the round table animation. For some reason my game always crash if animation is unavailable, probably something wrong with my load order. Thanks for your help!

this mod has been great so far and has worked perfectly fine, definitely going to roll back a save to try out different routes, looks like something that would fit in the base game as well if it was still like the older fallouts. i'm just wondering if there is any walkthrough or a place so i can check on some of the things ive been missing and some of the routes I could take. also wondering if at some point id be able to just pull out a gun and kick ass, already getting to the point where i could clear out Nuka World the vanila way

I think you meant to post this on the NK forums but I will answer. JB once said you might be treated like a mindless bimbo does not mean you are one. And who knows at some point you might even get to use all that gear during NK. As for paths so far there is the vanilla route and the non vanilla route. And then you can be submissive or rebellious. JB will be changing things up in future updates tho by adding a young girl path. It is in his sig on any of his posts. Personally thats the path I am waiting for. I will be leaning heavily into the bimbo route when he is done with that. I think that would fit perfectly. But yeah don't expect that to happen tomorrow. JB is finishing up CS and then going to take a break the dude needs one.

More adjustments after my general testing.

 

  • During "The Threat", Medium Sized is easily defeated by the Minutemen. Now he will momentarily have a perk that makes him take very minimal damage.
  • I fixed the Synth that sat in Jared's cell. 
  • During "The Pit", the molerats don't attack you because of a mistake I made in the factions. 
  • I am seriously considering disabling VATS during The Pit. I've been using it the whole time and ended up out of the cage when figting the fly. 
  • I added a cheat in the Music/Sound section to stop the heartbeat sound, in case the sound ends bugged. It is actually solved it by reloading the save but better to have the help there.
  • Added to the MCM an option to teleport Big Bomb close to you, if you are Junkie and you get a craving attack during his walk, this cheat will be useful. (Same with Gristle).
  • It is especially annoying on "The Pit" trip (round trip) when the Bomb brothers stop to say one of their generic lines. From now on they will keep saying their generic lines but won't stop walking.
  • The last quest is "The Scientist". When you finish it, and if you ask for more new missions, Lindstrom should tell you something like this:

  • By mistake, he would skip this and give you a random quest. This was potentially dangerous, since he could give you quests impossible for a double-amputee to do.

  • Fixed an annoying bug where Gristle would ignore you in Diamond City when lying on a house. As I suspected, he is on alert due to a dangerous enemy that I have disabled in order to finally talk to him. ?

  • Various small fixes. Various tweaks. Re-made the valley precombines.
  • Now I only have to test the set of three missions of the True Ending.
  • I plan to upload version 2.0.0 once the new version of AAF is available for download.
