I've got a problem and while I think I know what is probably the issue I thought to ask anyway...all animations work as intended until a dog is involved. Every single time it'll start an animation but it's always the 'climax/ending' scene on repeat. Nothing like this happens with humans. I'm asking here because this is the only mod I have that involves animals besides NukaRide.

Bug Report - The Correctional

 

Two so far:

 

1/ The fight with Dwayne seems almost impossible. I was has hardly harming him while he killed me a number of times (Your Adventure has Ended popup). In the end I used the console to kill him which made him dormant so I could insert the synth component. Things ran smoothly after that - until

 

2/ After killing Becker and the conversation with Dwayne, Dwayne still has the electric sparks and does not move, so you can't follow him for the battery (I spared Murphy though I doubt that would affect things). I did enjoy killing that fucker Becker though :classic_smile:

 

Edit a resurrect freed up Dwayne and I got to the pillory

Probably because you are using the EasyGirl patch for Nuka Ride, which is not compatible with this mod. As for what you suggest, it is not possible because they are different functions. Believe me, I was fighting with this for many months. 

I just did the cheat on the MCM workbench to 1 for now.

I tried disabling vermillionfrost and MODMoreGirlyAnimation but that didn't seem to fix the crash. I do use the extended skeleton and none of the poses have had any issues before this either.

I was going to name a couple of mods that jump out in this report until I saw terror personified:

 

 

    [FE:033] Bashed Patch, 0.esp

 

 

Burn it with fire and then pour holy water on your pc. You don't need this. 

 

Now, I'm afraid the changes this patch might have made are permanent, so you may need a new save. Still, try it without this batch patch.

I have some feedback/suggestions on the mod thus far (ver 1.9.2)

Now that I can see in the whore house, I've been checking it out.  I did a few tricks and everything went smoothly. I like the minutemen comments as I walk around, but a forced greet where they ask for sex would be good here.  I like that the dog Snoopy is back, but he should have a unique interaction and dialogue.  Having a dog act like any other customer just doesn't play well. Getting a meal or drink for a dog? Maybe you could just ask him if he wants to have sex?  No need to sell yourself to him since you are "old friends".  Are the beast whore perks still compiling?

 

I haven't gone to Nuka Ride since completing the new ending on ver 1.9.2, but I plan to soon. If the dialog with Kaiser about having sex with the dog at the beginning of Nuka Ride was affected by your actions with Snoopy, that would be great.

 

Regarding Nuka Ride, since the original eyebot is dead when you exit the vault, maybe Medium Bomb could be the "agent" who recruits you go to work at Nuka World.  He already knows you have the mentality and experience! He could even escort you to Drumlin Diner.

 

Still would like to see Murphy show up here.  Not sure how you would use him, though.  He could make peace and be friendly, or be a dick who thinks he is still your master.  You could even give the player the choice whether to surrender to his wishes or not.

 

I don't mean to diminish what you've done with this mod in any way.  It's already great! These ideas are just to introduce some future possibilities if you plan to continue development.

Doing something with the dog will require a new quest. I want him to be a travel companion with whom you can spend fun times but I don't see myself with the energy to do another quest. Making The Harvester, The Correctional and The Harvestress has sucked my soul.

For now, I'll call it version 1.9.3

 

 

  • I redid the pre-combines of the Whore House so now there should be no visualization problems. 
  • As a curiosity, these are the three stages of the Whore House. I wrote it to test the aforementioned visualization problem. 
  1. CQF _CS_MCM SetOriginalWhoreHouse
  2. CQF _CS_MCM SetDestroyedWhoreHouse
  3. CQF _CS_MCM SetNewWhoreHouse
  • I added a new option to the cheat mode: Stop the collar ticking sound. 
  • If you load a save before activating the cage and winning "The Harvestress", you will be able to unlock Rose's silver locket, which is at the foot of Gristle's grave. This will allow you to use the "Revolution" perk (30% less damage from any attack received if you have the locket in your inventory). 
  • There will no longer be a problem with the final stage if Gristle ends up dead outside the cage. 
  • With the true ending yo will also be able to unlock another character: Murphy. 
  • Murphy will take care of the valley (and the tomb) with his fiancée, as long as you spared his life during "The Correctional". I decided not to write him dialogue, but rather he and his fiancée will tell you randoms lines that will update you on his situation. 
  • However, I've left a couple of assets in case I ever want to do a little Murphy miniquest. Right now he's about as useful as a flower vase.
  • Murphy and his fiance at the farm are enabled when you finish talking to Medium Sized in the valley. They have a small house on the farm.

Nah Murphy don't deserve redemption he did absolutely nothing to make up for any of his deeds. He have to die every time. Not have a peaceful life on a farm.

Thank you for these latest updates.  I plan to install ver 1.9.4 and re-start my last save before returning to Corvega to blow up the cage.  If there is any new content before that, please let me know.  I know you've expended a great deal of time and energy on developing this mod for us. I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates your efforts.

like you i also found this fight very hard at first.  i did die like 10 times in a row, then i figured out 2 methods to make it easier 

both took a little prep (take some chems and healing items when starting the quest)  heal as needed and

1 - block only unless he is reeling from being blocked, then hit him a couple of times, rinse lather repeat

2 - pop a combo of abomination (or psycho/med x), pop a jet just as he starts to reel from being blocked and whale on him, rinse lather repeat.

method 2 works much better and faster for me, took a total of 1 Psycho, 1 Med X, and 3 Jet (YMMV).

Hello Jb, in version 1.92 and 1.94 lindstrom stay behind the wall during the marking at the beginning of the Whore House quest.

Since I was stuck at the cross, I use the regain player control cheat to move and talk to lindstron, so no big deal to be honest.

The player is submissive and obey gristle, so the piercing were not applied. Gonna try a dominant run, to see if this happens to. (Edit no luck, lindstron is at the other side of the wall this time)

Is anyone else having aaf errors in the whorehouse after completing the mod while whoring yourself out ? The first option when you talk to clients. Thats the anal whore option, option nr 1.  This is not aaf 1.7.1 related. This is aaf 1.66. I just want to confirm if its a aaf install issue or a mod issue.

I am getting the same CTD everytime.  it worked the first time i did the mission but now CTD as soon as the shooting starts.

What version are you running?

Can you post a buffout crashlog for someone to take a look at please.

I play with the Indarello patch and I can play an animation with the anal tag (carrybomb?). If it fails again, please send me a photo of the AAF panel with the error.

I just tested it and it worked for me. Make sure you don't have any mods that "improve" the NPC's AI or similar mods that you think could affect the behavior of an npc.

I had a couple more issues finishing the correctional using v1.9.1 (in case anything has changed). I meant to report this last night but it was getting very late so I hope I haven't forgotten anything

 

1/ This one is perceptual but could easily catch you out. At the end in the pillory when Dwayne leaves the mission completed notification appears on screen and stays there making it appear that the script has hung. I left if and then saw Middle Bomb coming towards me the notification disappeared and the dialogue started, but it was initially confusing

 

2/ The first time guessing the food I got it wrong, and Middle Bomb just says "die..." (can't remember the exact words) and the game just sits there, so might be an idea to add the "Your Adventure has Ended" popup to let the player know to reload.

 

I'll grab the latest version in a few minutes (I'm just in Corvega atm).

Ok yeah this is the mess I get. I will reinstall and remove a few packs rerun my patch just to check again

ok the animations that caused that is gone. Still the same tho this is what I constantly get.

Ok no those messages show even when I choose other options and the all work. I also have anal animations working outside of the whorehouse. So yeah I don't know. I am no expert when it comes to these things. I will just avoid anal stuff in the whorehouse for the time being.

Right, I finished the good ending, everything worked perfectly (using AAF 1.7.1). You've excelled yourself with this @JB. a brilliant piece of work :classic_smile:?

 

I checked the whorehouse and that was working, also Duff. Also checked Concord and Preston was fighting raiders at the Museum and the main quest started correctly. Went to Corvega and the raiders shot at me as they should.

 

I think I'm just left with a couple of pernickety things regarding the back story and also the mod ending balance.

 

On the back story, Becker would be dead by the time we get out of the vault (as per Ronnie Shaw in Old Guns) unless he's a synth of course, same for the reincarnated Gristle (Jared we know already is one), so maybe add a bit of filler to cover the details.

 

On game balance, I use a mod to cut down on XP as I don't like to level too quickly but even so I was at level 5 (just part 2) at the end with some powerful weapons (like Rose's Revolution) and armour which I suspect will make the early game far too easy, so might be an idea to look at reducing the XP and have a way to remove the over powered stuff (say, have the shotgun kept at the whorehouse for defence). Armour is probably less of an issue Combat Strip Lite will soon take care of it, otherwise maybe have it irreparably damaged at the end of the quest (from the cage overload).

 

Just a few thoughts that came to mind, but above all, thank you for all the work and effort you've put into this :classic_smile:

Hello @JB. You were 100% right! Mi error.

I started those saves without disabling certain mod, that was the culprit, I try the scenarios again and everything works as intented.
