I think as an option, it might look interesting. Not sure about "realistic" properties of materials, but it will give a pretty unusual option. Though in my opinion, it shouldn't be forced on every type of catsuit, but like I mentioned, an option to choose if to use these or use "clean" catsuit. Or maybe as a phase during quest, if it's still planned theoretically

The idea was to make a modular suit, so if the nipps are also part of the modularity they could be modified for the users taste and/or quest use. Or open up if the nip piercings are used stuff like that.

Maybe I should have been clearer, the pic I posted was just a test to see if the effect works, The intention is to make the whole suit patchwork and yes it is all done in the diffuse and normal so the base mesh is left untouched so it would only be another colour variation.

 

Patches to hide the holes are already made, what I do with them I havent decided yet but just to be clear This is no longer a project to replace the existing DD catsuit and any aesthetique decision is down to me. I appreciate and take onboard all of the comments you give but I cannot and willnot try to base the final outcome on whats best for DD.

I know, I just feel that the base catsuit is still missing something and is a bit plain. I dont know if the patchwork is the answer but untill I do it and see the final result I wont know.

Giving it more thought I think you were correct that the idea is better suited to a model without the seams.

Yeah it would look ridiculous with the red seams. If you want to create a real catwoman catsuit, you also have to remove the gaps at the elbows and tighs. It really has to be a one piece catsuit. Else it will look weird and out of place.

If the suit itself covers the feet and the boots are separate: the last one, as they invoke the doll-like theme with those big satin shoe laces.

 

If they're part of the suit: the first one as they're low on details and don't distract from the other details too much. And even if you said to ignore the colours, the two colour scheme matches the suit/contrasting seams theme you had going on in your original design.

The suit currently ends at the ankles so yes the boots are seperate. Your right that the doll lace ones would be better with the full on sexdoll version of the suit.

 

Yeah the black/red would look good with the base catsuit.

I've read a couple of times that 3D artist immensely hate making laces. So might want to give that a try to if you like it before you go with the "laces front and back" design of the first pair

This might or might not have been the first time I've seen any of your armor work outside of LL ? And I don't use Toys so haven't noticed it. But I guess, you don't hate laces would be the conclusion then

I wondered myself why I never saw their work outside of LL. Now I know: it's SE stuff and I'm still on LE.

 

Which one where the bitch boots, by the way? I used Toys once, but the gameplay isn't for me and just extracting the armour didn't work.

I loved those in my limited test run of Toys, since I'm into everything hooved. They're so intricate and detailled! Was really heartbroken that I didn't manage to extract them, but I'm currently not in a position to dig deeper into modding, so that's got to wait.

I cant set you up a pair as I cant make the LE bodyslides but you could just use the outputed Nif from the toys bodyslide to replace another nif from a different mod. I could tell you how to do it if your interested, or you can just wait till I make something Hoofy.

I'm gonna take you up on that offer at some point, just not right now. Too much going on in that pesky real life one hears so much about nowadays. Maybe in spring I have enough energy to dig into modding again.

 

I will, however, patiently wait for any hoofy content you might come up with in the future. Fetish ponys, cows, gazelles, deer, demonesses ... if it's hooved or horned I'm probably interested. That said: create what you like. It's a hobby after all. We should be your fans, not your bosses.

I think I like the last ones best.

I have a strong preference for materials that are textures to look like they exist in the world of skyrim.  Shiny latex could exist, but if my caracter wore it on the streets or in a tavern, it wouldn't look like pics 1 and 2.

 

I like the belt buckles and silk ribbon lacing better than traditional shoe laces for the same reason. 

 

I like the taper of the platforms on boots one and two MUCH more than the straight blocky platforms on 3.

 

I like the leather on 3 over the the plastic textures of one and two.

 

While I like the ribbon laces and open front on four a lot, I don't like the jagged tread on the bottom.  Even in the context of modern shoes it looks bad.

Some BS guides (as in bodyslide   ) are always welcome. I've tried it a few times but can't get it to stick.
