I have searched and searched and I can't find the answer. Is there any way to prevent endless rape when defeated by multiple aggressors, say at Valtheim towers. I want a little realistically brutal punishment for combat defeat as a female and then robbery, not be forced to watch watch ceaseless rape until my computer crashes. Yes, I have insatiable off and chance for another round set to zero percent. Somebody said something about radius but English was his second language and I had a hard time interpreting what he meant. I'm using Themis' latest full fixed version with no DD. I'm fully willing to accept user error here, but even in one-on-one scenarios it seems at least two rapes occur. It's almost as though Defeat's scripts are not recognizing the disabled insatiable flag.

Raise the Satisfied setting on the Player as Victim page.  I have it at 300 but with many enemies you might want it much higher.  I'm running the base 5.3.5 version (I don't trust the undocumented changes in the various "fixed" versions) and I've not had the problem you described.  Hopefully raising Satisfied will solve this for you.

Thanks for the response. I dug into the Papyrus logs and ESP and found references to the ZaZ pack which I didn't have installed because I was trying to play Skyrim without getting locked into gear. Didn't know it was a requirement for Defeat (it's not mentioned on the landing page), but I installed it and set the Satisfied length to the maximum (900) and another round to 0% and it seems to have solved the problem. Crossing my fingers that something else doesn't go wrong. Death alternatives really seem to be a bear to code.

No dice. New game. First encounter, five participants. Insatiable off, 0% chance of another round, 900 seconds satisfied. They raped me 10 times before the scene ended and then I couldn't stand up. Cooldown ended and before I could reconfigure and clean the mod they killed me due to the lengthy satisfied setting. I guess I'll try the unpatched version. At least I didn't have to sit there hammering the space bar for ten minutes before I could determine if post-assault was going to trigger.

I just installed the mod and I have a problem: if I chose RAPE on a sleeping npc everything works. I tried to put a npc in a sack and take her to breezehome then tie her up and select rape but nothing works.. absolutely no response... any hint on what should I check? Also if I first tie them then try the rape... no answer.

Do you have the ZaZ pack installed? That one deals with a lot of tied animations. If not, install it and run FNIS and see if that works. Another thing you could check is the animation tags in the player aggressor section of Defeat. The bound tag has changed since defeat was released, I think it's called "Binding" now, instead of "Bound" which is what Defeat has set by default. Either change it, or just do like I do and remove all the tags so any animation can play.

ZAZ Pack isn't a hard requirement for defeat.  If you don't have it you just won't play animations in that pack but as long as you have rough/nc animations installed and enabled you should be fine. Not sure why its in your logs.  I've never looked at it in that depth but I have used it before without ZaZ

How strange. After changing from Themis to Oldschool Defeat the mod wouldn't enable at all despite everything I tried, including suggestions that worked for other forum posters. It wouldn't even enable on a new game. That's when I started noticing all the Papyrus errors. After that I installed ZaZ and it enabled within seconds. Correlation with something else maybe? I dunno, it seems janky. Anyway, that's something to try if you get everything as borked as I did and can't enable Defeat anymore.

I would suggest a clean save is necessary. From the main page

Follow these steps:
1.) It is generally best to go to an interior cell, and smaller cells are best. An interior cell is apparent because you have a loading screen when you "open" the door from the outside (such as when you enter most buildings).
2.) Save your game to a new save slot (do not overwrite an earlier save) and quit the game.
3.) Uninstall the mod.
4.) Start the game and load your last saved game.
5.) After the game full loads, make a SECOND new save (do not overwrite an earlier save) and quit the game.
6.) If you're upgrading the mod that you uninstalled, you can now install the new version.
7.) Start the game and load your previous saved game.
8.) Just to be safe: make one more new save (do not overwrite an earlier save).
9.) You have a cleaned save? Ok let’s clean it a little more with Save game script cleaner and you will not forget to endorse the mod of course. (See screenshot at the end of the post

I assume a brand new game qualifies as a clean save? Because as I said, Defeat wouldn't even enable at that time until I installed ZAZ.

The reason I suggested a clean save is other mods can use similar scripts as defeat . If so scripts from them can become baked into your game and create errors that can interfere with loading .

Also defeat and other pc based mod than take control over the base game are always best put low in your or last to prevent overwrite of defeat script. Mods that change or overwrite faction files or the worst because that is how defeat validate who is aloud that rape who.

  Just checking you are playing legendary not special edition?

 

I have used defeat for over two years with few problems that a clean defeat (DEFEAT MCM) or reset animation (SEXLAB FRAMEWORK)  did not fix

Can somebody post their Defeat MCM in correlation to their Death Alternative MCM? I'm having a hard time getting this mod to behave since most of the time my character is just killed when they go into bleed out (despite disabling death alternative death and marking my character as essential and making Defeat the primary option on blackout event) or some other wacky event occurs. My follower also has a lot of issues. I get the prompt of "they're carried away in chains" occasionally yet they still follow me, even when I tell them to split.

I don't recommend you download anything from there. The patches are more buggy than the original.

YES!! I always use wildcat , I would suggest lowering or not using the stagger effect because it can interfere with defeat bleedout if staggered while going into defeat bleedout it can cause defeat to fail but defeat clean will fix it , I take the chance in my game but know that it can happen also load defeat lower that wildcat so it has the last say so in your load order.

Hey,

 

I thought of a simple thing, that would improve Sexlab Defeats immersion immensely.

 

How hard would it be to trigger dialogue and expressions when you choke out/knockdown an NPC? Currently, they have no expression nor dialogue at all when knocked down. You can put an NPC in a bag, abduct them, strip them naked and tie them up in various positions. And they don't really react or seem to bothered at all. It kills my immersion. They play an expression when you strip them, but that's about it. I know expressions can be applied manually... but each manual change breaks immersion.

 

I imagine them entering either the combat or flee state upon being knocked down via Defeat. As if you had actually attacked them. So they would be expressing and either threatening and taunting the player. Or pleading and saying things such as "I submit, you win!". And they would be calling out for help, when you for example; take them into an interior and tie them up. It seems like a simple thing given it would use vanilla scripts and voice-lines. And this exact feature is already applied and triggered by Defeat after sex - when the NPC can either flee or attack the player.

 

Essentially how easy would it be to apply vanilla combat or flee state to Defeats knockdown/tie up?

 Hey guys, 

 

 Im having a strange issue in my game, everytime one of my followers is going to rape my girl  (theyre all perverts), and something (combat, dialogue, etc) interrupts a player as victim animation, the follower becomes muted, no dialogue options, just (...) (...) (...)

 

 I tested a lot of things, and noticed that only 3 things can correct it, 1 - disable player as victim on SL defeat (the npc just start talking again like nothing had happened), 2 - removefromallfactions console command, 3 - reload a save from before it happens. I was going around nicely since it happened only with standalone followers who doesnt really have any specific faction interaction, but now it hitted lydia, and i failed to see it in time (played for 7 hours in a rush), now if i remove her factions she will just forget she is a housecarl, forgets that she loves me, and that she was a puritan bitch before she knew the dragonborn, etc, and the "follow me" command wont go away, even if she is actually following me, so i cant access her inventory.

 

 I was thinking if the mod actually puts the agressor in a "temporary" faction? if thats the case, anyone knows whats the code so i can disable only that faction?

If anyone is using Backpack Containers I have made a small QOL patch for it which will automatically drop your backpack if you are stripped by Defeat (or any other mod!).

 

For mod authors it also provides a very simple dependency-free method for mods to check if the player is wearing a backpack and what items they have in it.

Hey, I'm using defeat (the normal one not fixed) and SM essencial player (thou I'm thinking of trying death alternatives). I noticed that sometimes my follower are downed before me and then I trigger defeat but because the follower was down before me. She stands up and saves me with the witness trigger.

 

Is there a way to fix this for example if I go down the downed followers to stay down. Or the easy way - should I just disable witness intervention ?
