LeeRockU Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Can someone help me with this. No animations will happen even though is says it is in the skse view window. In attempting to attach a pic but is unable so I'll describe it. My character is standing in front of the NPC. Both are in the same stance. This would happen for minutes until I guess the animation is over. No sound of the rape happens either. FNIS does not know which animations to use probably. Or you have the wrong bodies installed for your animations. Press SPACEBAR about 4 times to speed through the animations. When I run FNIS it says, "No Gender directory Animations for male and female." Could that be the issue and if so what do I need to do? No it means you shouldn't have checked the "Gender Specific Animations" option in FNIS because you didn't install (or at least FNIS didn't find) the mod that requires that option to be checked. Turn that option off and you should be good. ALL of those options are only needed when the mod that requires them is installed. But I only checked that to try to fix the problem. My characters are all stand but no deliver. Just asking ? You did check ANIMATION in SEXLAB FRAMEWORK ? It totally worked! Thanks.

Forever. *edit* Buhhhh now it just goes CTD when the sex is supposed to start. I haven't changed anything since yesterday, when it mostly worked. D:
LibertyPrime Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Hey, just wanted to check in and say I've started using this mod yesterday. So far, I think it's functioning perfectly. MCM menus work normally, sex and struggling also work normally et al. Really enjoying it. It goes VERY well along Submit (which, unfortunately, is unusable if you're on SL 1.59c). For those saying it won't work, have you tried moving it down(ish) on your load order? LOOT isn't cut for this kind of mod, I think. When I did use it, it threw Defeat up there, as high as it could in my load order.
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I just encountered an issue (maybe an old one); I decided to surrender to a group of bandits and the dialog option for persuasion works, but the gold (if I refuse) and the "take what you want" options don't trigger any animations, all the bandits just stand around and laugh for a second and then the game crashes to desk top.
Shonrim Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I love this mod because it adds another level of danger and suspense that you don't get with the vanilla Skyrim death. Getting robbed and then left for dead, or waking up in an inn is IMHO 100 times better than reloading the last quicksave. So thanks for this mod!! This is not a complaint, just something that happened in my game today that I thought was cool: So I'm playing the "Interesting NPC's mod, and there is this quest where I have to kill an evil wizard/necromancer. No problem. Well, I'm also playing with the Defeat mod. During the fight, the evil necromancer spawns a Dremora Lord, so now I'm out numbered. It is a fierce and tense and Epic battle. I get hit by a blast of ice storm, and then the Dremora hits me, and i go down. Dremora walks over to my character and starts pulling off her gear. (I have it set to Steal the weapons and Armor, because it is always fun to start over and gear up for a rematch.) So the Dremora gets my main weapon and most of my gear. It is looking bad for our hero! But then his time runs out and he dissipates - returning to the realms of Oblivion or where ever these demons go when they are not on Skyrim. But he takes my gear with him!! Fortunately for me, I was able to quickly summon a bound sword, and killed the evil wizard before he could conjure up any more nastiness... And I completed the quest. But it was a tense moment of "Oh snap!!" and then the hero won - but had to walk back out of the necromancer' base, wearing only the black robes that I pulled off one of the bad guys. No more high-smithed and enchanted gear until I could get back home and make a new set. Just thought that was awesome and wanted to share. Defeat is awesome for just that kind of awesome.

Is there a setting I can look at to see what it is set at? I've done no crimes yet that could be triggering that kind of reaction from others.

IME, this is usually SexLab having a snit. Re-run FNIS, then in the game go to the Rebuild & Clean page of SexLab and stop running animations, then reset animation registry. Let the game run a minute or two after each. Then go to Defeat and run its "clean" option. I haven't seen this much, but that seems to reset things successfully.

ltknight88 Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I have been using this mod for a while but now, the female followers won't get raped they are just standing on the ground for 30 sec, and then going back up. I have tried every combination for triggering the rape, (no transition , all down ). Other mods and animation are working fine (I am using random attack, aroused, romance, dangerous night, spectator crowd0.91 amurous Is there a mod that can be conflicting with that ? like spectators crowd ? Mods are sorted using LOOT Any hints ? ( for people having issues with followers on the ground on the posts above, hit the clean up in the option that usually fix it , even when follower are stuck to a location where a rape was supposed to happen but got interupted, hitting " clean " fix it) Face Commander - Maybe check this - in the MCM settings, in the NPC Vs NPC tab (or maybe the followers tab) make sure you do not have the "all down" checked. This means that your companions can not be assaulted until you are also knocked down. Also check the "Female followers can be assaulted by XX" - also in either the NPC V. NPC tab. You might also move this mod to dead last in your load order. And make sure that you have it set to Enabled. hope that helps.
originalwankster Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Not sure if this has been addressed but it seems that Death Alternative is interfering with followers getting raped at the same time as the PC on the "All Down" setting. On "Original" setting they go down and stay down, but on "All Down" when they're downed and I'm downed, and my PC begins the rape animation, the follower gets up and then just sort of hangs out while the rape happens. With DA disabled, they go down and stay down, and are raped as they're meant to be. Seems like DA is bringing them back from knocked down state early as soon as Defeat starts the rape, possibly because combat is considered ended. Am I the only one who this is the case for, or do I just have to use Original for followers if I'm using DA?

Edit:Yes, activating is turned on by the way. Edit2: Also doesn't matter if male or female, and the animations do work because it works for Dangerous Nights Edit3:Also if I do the shift G, it auto kills.

I've found that I'm much more likely achieve defeat if I turn off resist (for player as victim). When resist is on the player usually ends up dieing (very few rapes happened). [+] When I do have resist on and my player is knocked down the player is usually only raped by one of the npc's involved in the fight (when there are multiple npc's in a fight). However, when I disable resist the palyer is usually raped by everyone in the npc party. [+] If resist is disabled and the player is raped by everyone in the npc party the player ends up sitting in the recovery position forever, locking control. I'll probably check out your scripts this weekend when I get time to see if I can find where/why this is happening. Thanks for all the hard work you've already done!

Not a Sexlab bug, its a bug in the game and is completely unrelated to Sexlab.

Crate123 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I havent used Defeat in a long time but reinstalled it today and Im having a really hard time surrendering, I am being approached by the 3 thugs wanting to punish me for stealing stuff and so far I have failed over 10 times trying to surrender, they put away their weapons and their red dots disappear from my compas but then they just re-equip their weapons immediatly and bash my head in. Anything Im doing wrong ? Moving it down the loadorder helped.

The PC is locked in the recovery position and even if I succeed to resist, or try to press any key, he just stays there until the enemy turns hostile again and kills him. The only way I had some success to get away is turn off resist AND turn off to be knocked down.
