D_ManXX2 Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Maybe this worth mentioning, i had been getting allot of crashes when any types of sex animations started to play at first i thought there was something wrong with this mod. But if you are like me and are using Mod Organizer. Maybe try to check your profile setting and see if you auto Archive ticked. I had been maintaining allot of profiles when i created this one i had forgotten to turn this option on and now i don't get any more crashes.
maxsteiner Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 After hitting "surrender", the PC goes through the appropriate dialoge and goes into the cower position but then the sex animation is not triggered. The PC and the assailant just stand there doing nothing and the scene never progresses. I have all the requirements, runned FINIS and reset sex lab animation registry but the problem remains. Can anyone help ? A little "trick" iv learned is to hit "esc" on your keyboard when that happens and just wait a bit in the option menu. After (normally) 5-10 sec you can hear a unequippe sound, go back into the game by hitting esc again and voila. It may sound ridiculous but it works for me :-D
maxsteiner Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 DA = Death Alternative http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45894/ It is a mod that Defeat is made compatible. Defeat does not need DA to function so you don't really need it, but it adds additional functionality. Ah, thanks. Still cant get the companions thing to work though. Ah well :-D
DenjiXMakima Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 hello, I have kind of same problem as nepro has. If I get knocked down, nothing happens, the npc act like nothing happend and just go back to their usal work. Also I can't get out of the knocked down screen, I have to reload the game then.. :/ Now comes the funny part, I deinstalled defeat. Made a clean save, used the savetool aswell, everything. BUT still even though defeat is deinstalled, I can't simply die, I always get knocked down and cannot move. Here Is a list of all the mods I am using http://www.loverslab.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=126312 Its a pdf-file. I hope someone has a Idea whats wrong / encountered the same problem and has a solution. hey for everyone that might face the same problem I have the solution. My character was still marked as active dancer by "fengwu dance / we dance together" mod. Use choose dancer self once again, and everything is back to normal.
JabbyTabby Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) Ugh...so I'm at a loss now, hopefully someone knows a fix. Let me start by saying I HAVE gotten this mod to work. After installing (and running) SKYUI 4.1+, SKSE 1.7+, SexLab Framework 1.58b+ and FNIS 5.1.1+ as required, the mod worked for a bit. Then I noticed grabbing no longer worked (resisted, resisted, resisted), and then merely pressing the action key while targeting a critically wounded NPC would cause a CTD. Sometimes I can click the tie up/rob/rape menu, which leads to a CTD, and sometimes it just CTD's as soon as I hit the action button and before I can see the menu. Sometimes after leaving the cell and cleaning/reinstalling Defeat and Sex Lab, I will again be able to use and abuse NPC's for a matter of minutes or hours, but then the whole thing inevitably breaks again. Necrophilia and attacking sleeping NPC's seems somewhat more stable than trying to interact with injured characters (and by that I mean they occasionally still work after interacting with alert NPC's becomes a CTD-fest), if that's any clue. Also, the first crash after a fresh re-install/scrubbing and a reign of debauchery *seems* to be heralded by a C++ Library Error (R6025 pure virtual function call), which is the only error I receive before every assault attempt becomes a CTD. (Windows 7) I've tried to follow instructions to a T and uninstalled, scrubbed saves, created new saves, reinstalled, ran FNIS, and adjusted the mod load order as recommended/suggested. I've tried running vcredist_x86, I've validated my cache on Steam, and the Papyrus logs don't seem to show a pattern when it comes to the final message/process displayed. Thanks for reading. Any educated guesses as to why it works until it suddenly almost always crashes? Edited September 19, 2014 by JabbyTabby

Any educated guesses as to why it works until it suddenly almost always crashes? I would try the following: Reinstall SkyUI, SKSE 1.7.1, Sexlab Framework 1.59b, and FNIS 5.1.1 Uninstall Sexlab Aroused and any mod that depends on it Reinstall your custom skeleton and overwrite all - Use XP32, XPMS, or XPMSE skeletons Re-run GenerateFNISforUsers Perform a clean save Run Save Game Script Scapel Papyrus Data Transfer and click on Load Papyrus Section then Removed Unattached Instances then Remove Instances (check the checkbox option) then Remove Script Instances then Terminate Active Threads - Close the Utility - Load the edited save If none of that helps then I would manually remove all mods that add animations to the game (meshes folder) and then re-do all of the steps above. I also recommend that you start a new game after doing all of these steps.
SkyBarbie Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I have never had problems with sexlab aroused, I think if it is causing you trouble you probably need to re check you optimization, and how you have your SKSE.ini set up, and your system settings. I don't think your problem is with Sexlab Aroused, I would think if your having problems with it, you will find your going to have trouble in other places too. I could be wrong, but if so many of us have no problem with it then ( and judging by the number of people that I have seen here that use it with no problems) it might be worth checking. My setup is highly optimized. I am a mod guru and Skyrim optimization expert with three years of modding experience with Skyrim. Aroused was the direct problem for me and based on several other posts it was for others as well. What was Aroused failing to do ?? It is true it is highly script intensive and if you have the mod brawl bug not installed it could even malfunction the vanilla brawl due to the cloaking effects when hitting someone. It would then be registred as an assault, rather then brawling and the npc will turn hostile when hit. I have used the Brawl bugs mod every since it came out and have kept it updated. Thank you for the reply though! My original complaint was a few posts above my original post. My game has been running flawlessly without Aroused installed (all issues fixed including random CTD on game load and grabbing with Defeat).
Trollsven Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Wow ok, those are some serious bugs, did you try on another save? sound like there is still the old mcm script running, odd, someone else has the same bug? why does mine have no animation when i surrender my player just stands there naked when the agressor says come here nothing happens oh and one more thing how do i put the animations in fnis tool when i look at it there was no option for the defeat mod maybe its because i didn't updated the animation pls reply
Sunnstor Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Question / suggestion: If all of a creature's sexlab animations are disabled (Lets take the Draugr) and the player character gets knocked down, the Draugr simply turn friendly and ignore the player character from this moment on. Wouldn't it be possible to check if a creature has no animation activated and then continue as if nothing ever happened? As a way to remove specific creatures from the Defeat functions. Or is this already possible?
johnnyan Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I just retested a bug I noticed a while ago, it seems the mod does not work for some npcs (ex Gerdur and Sigrid from the first village after you exit the intro cave). These npcs will just enter that "down" state and eventually recover or die (vs human or creature). Tested this with clean Skyrim LE (steam legit) with just Sexlab and Defeat. Could someone else confirm/infirm this please?
jAudi5K Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Fixed version didn't work for me. Animations didn't start. I went back to the old one and everything works.

Any educated guesses as to why it works until it suddenly almost always crashes? It might be worth upgrading to 1.59b, and the patch. There were some changes done to the Dead actors>>> will now periodically be checked for in SexLab's skill and validation storageutil data for removal to save space and keep it fast. Do follow all the cleaning of your Bethesda DLC> ESM files it is needed, there are many save crashes that will happen if you do not. Bethesda left many dirty edits in there ESM, that although they do not effect the main game, can be devistatimg to mod's made by modders. Not sure if these will help you, but there I remember were some issues with the Necrophilia. as to the other crashes, cleaning your save is a good Idea, I have no problems with that, Savetool it is the easiest of those to use, it is a little soft on somethings. If you want to take the time to learn how to use "PDTWrapper" Papyrus Scrip scalpel It is a much better, or more powerful save game cleaner, it is just somewhat more complex. I find it usefull if I have repetitive script instances that i can not remove with SaveTool. But both are useful tool's depending on how much trouble you are having. But to really get the best use from PDTWrapper You should learn to filter your script problems, which is very easy with PDTWrapper. Also after update be sure to go to the last menu in the sexlab MCM, and reset animation registry. Also re register them in Zaz animation pack. In any other mod that asks you to register animations for good measure. And when in doubt run FNIS always And do not save while sneaking, it is just a good habit to get out of, there are somethings that can happen because of this, that may not be game crusher's, but they are bothersome. Quote from ashals upgrade v1.59b HOTFIX: Fixed broken Auto TFC option Moved upgraded arrok animations to the correct folder in the upgrade patch download v1.59b: Fixed expressions not applying the right amounts Updated included PapyrusUtil to 2.7 Added creature animations to animation editor - just scroll to the bottom of the list of animations in the editor Added new 4way and licking animation by zynisch Added new revamp of existing Arrok Cowgirl animation Added new bool properties to animations sslBaseAnimation.IsVaginal/IsOral/IsAnal/IsDirty/IsLoving Added new API functions to get the estimated runtime of a given animation with the users configured timers- sslBaseAnimation.GetRunTime()/GetRunTimeLeadIn()/GetRunTimeAggressive() Added new API function to get the estimated runtime of the currently active and playing animation, sslThreadController.GetAnimationRunTime() Dead actors will now periodically be checked for in SexLab's skill and validation storageutil data for removal to save space and keep it fast The player is no longer held in place for animation by making them AI controlled (aka no sudden small character spin at the start of animation) Many various optimizations and bugfixes I didn't care to keep track of
Guest privateuser99 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Fixed version didn't work for me. Animations didn't start. Womb Raider Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 For some reason when I get knocked down the resist bar won't display, and when you're about to get raped by a corrupted shade in mount killkreath the game usually CTD's.
LibertyPrime Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Been wanting to use this for a while but I already Submit. Do they a lot of different features or would it be redundant?

tarl7 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 When I surrender sometimes the player sits down and the struggle bar appears then the npcs attack the player and try to kill them and sometimes the rape scene initiates is this what is supposed to happen? if so is there a way to change the odds somewhere in the menu?
andrea fin Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 some npcs like wolves and wild creatures will attack, you cant surrender to them. also, sometimes an npc must be out of range or something, sometimes; since i also saw occasions where i surrendered or was knocked down but an archer kept shooting arrows, or another npc ran in mid rape and attacked me. i dont know what options could fix that.

diebesgrab Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Love the idea of this for the gameplay experience I'm currently trying to build; though, while I've been experimenting with some mods on a fresh install of Skyrim, I've encountered a few issues and oddities while testing Defeat. (This is mostly just on the Player as Victim side of things as yet). The first one I noticed was that there seems to be a bit of a hangup with sex animations starting. (Possibly because some script or another gets stuck?) I've noticed this in a few other mods I'm testing that make use of SexLab, so I'm guessing it's actually a broader issue, but I thought I'd go ahead and mention it here just in case. Every time sex has been initiated as a result of this mod, the actors in question are repositioned (for getting ready to strip), and then nothing--at least, nothing for as long as I've had the patience to wait it out. I discovered I could get things to move along by pulling up the journal menu for a few seconds and then closing it again, after which things appear to run as expected (though actors sometimes wind up jumping back and forth between spots, though I'm guessing that's just another general issue with SexLab and the animations not always taking place in wide open, flat spaces). This also occurs between "turns," if an assailant decides he/she/it wants another go. I've also noticed I don't seem to get the option to resist. I have the relevant options selected in MCM, and I've set the resistance to be keyed to stripping (and have been wearing clothes or armor each time this has occurred). Each time I've been defeated, I seem to immediately get knocked down. I then experience the hangup, and after pausing for a few seconds, it goes on to the stripping animation, and then immediately into the sex animations. I did turn off the notification message for resistance, but I haven't seen a resist bar. Or maybe it just doesn't show up until you actually start? With the hangup, I suppose I haven't really been sure where to start pushing keys. I've also encountered a more significant problem twice now, and this is the one that I don't understand at all. After the assailants are done with my character, she assumes a sort of slumped sitting position on the ground with her hand on her stomach, the assailant(s) assumes their normal idle position nearby, and a thick but short bar (similar to the health/magicka/stamina bars, but empty) appears just over where my health bar should be (is that the resist bar?); and then, nothing happens. The actors involved all stay like that indefinitely as near as I've been able to tell. Unlike the initiating sex hangup, pausing (for any period of time) doesn't seem to help get things moving again. The first time this happened, I went ahead and reloaded an earlier save; the second, after waiting over two hours in-game-time, I tried exploring the hotkey options menu; disabling "Player as Victim" reset the actors involved (after which the enemy resumed hostilities as it normally would). Really not sure what's going on, and while I do at least seem to have a way to get out of it, if there's something I can do to prevent it altogether, that'd be preferable. The last thing I noticed that I wanted to mention--and this is just something kinda weird, not a problem--is that, when I was exploring some of the various options, I noticed that using the necrophilia option on a corpse the corpse "comes back to life." I'm figured there probably just weren't any actually relevant animations available in any of the more noteworthy animation collections, but it did throw me for a bit of a loop the first time it happened, especially when I passed an STD to the dead guy (though that's the "fault" of SexLab STDs, obviously). Thanks for reading this far, and thanks to Goubo for the mod.
afa Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 The bar overlaying over the health bar is the resist bar. You have to jam on the A and D or left and right attack, get "charge" the bar up fully to get up after enemy is done with the PC. Try to press and hold the A or D key when you get knock down initially and the resist bar should show up and you can jam on the keys to try to resist.
aramil31 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 So I got everything installed, and the proper menus are showing up in MCM. However, while the General settings are all visible, all of the specific ones (play as victim for example) are empty except for a slot that says "Disabled". There are no other options, and clicking the "Disabled" does nothing. I can move to a blank slot opposite of "Disabled" but still nothing happens. Is there a way to get this working?
